Started doing oblique work on my upper days and all my ab work before training. Feeling like an absolute tank haven't felt stronger in my midsection ever sitting at 282 coming down in weight again. Back pain throughout my day went away completely. Grateful for stumbling upon your channel years ago big man. I've learned so much binge watching your videos over the years
I kinda came to this conclusion too. My Idea was that if I threw the kitchen sink at my abs, and obliques for a few months I could then just maintain it. My knees had heated up too much to squat, or push press at the time, so whatever I was saving from that could go to everything on my torso. The whole reason direct ab, and oblique work is scarce is because it's hard AF to work in. Then it only helps you when, and to the extent it is limiting you.
Dearest Sam, what would you think of simultaneously running smolov jr for bench and squat? Personally, I like pain and thus enjoy doing painful things! Thanks!!
are they straining when you are deadlifting? and they overly sore after deadlifting? That's where mine are at right now so I'm about to ad in direct ab work. I also has surgery in march of this week so I know they need strengthened more and all that scar tissue broken up.
Would you say hanging leg raises are the go to for core strength in squatting/ deadlifting? I avoided ab exercises for the first year of lifting and now it’s biting me in the ass because my low back is constantly in shambles from deadlifting. My form looks like ass if I’m not wearing a belt since my bracing fails mid set and I feel like a lil bitch wearing a belt for 60% of my max. Definitely going to start adding dedicated ab work and tracking it is a must-do for me
hyped for consistent return of single topic videos

thank you mysterious viewer!
Eagerly awaiting the deadlifting for bodybuilding video since it’s by far my favorite lift but also seemingly not the greatest for hypertrophy

Hey Sam, could you make a video addressing tactics for managing squatting around knee pain? Also for the algo

hallowed algorithm / forgive me from my sins / for I have strayed from the path / in gains we trust
tracking ab training requires ab training
Avoiding ab work is all fun and games until you end up injured
@@Eric42RandomVideos Tried avoiding ab work then I tore my pecker off!
