Speaking of micronutrients and Frosted Flakes...look at the nutrition label on that. Hurray for processed foods being fortified. It's basically a superfood.
Congratulations on the 5k subs btw. Remember when I found you with like 400 and was shocked how it is so low. This is just the start. Go on to the moon now.
You talk about having cereal post workout for simple sugar. What is your oppinion on having a liter of chocolate milk post workout for easy protein and calories?
I ate nearly the exact same as Sam Sulek when I was his age. I probably ate worse tbh granted I didn't use PEDs and this is anecdotal, my bloodwork and health has always been fine. Maybe he shouldn't eat like that for his whole life, but he's 21 and in college; everyone should let him be lol
@@Madchris8828 my guess would be it’s that people feel they deserve the success that he’s having because they know more or are doing a better job with their bodybuilding efforts while not understanding that’s not the reason people like Sam/he is getting so much success
I'm surprised you're so willing to mess with whether you use the home gym of the one in your town. I feel like stronger guys tend to be quite picky with their setups (rightfully so, I assume)
honestly bit of both, i think maintaining some level of flexibility is absolutly critical for strongman because the equipment at the comp is always going to be a tad different than what you trained on. One one hand i do think having consistency is pretty important for gradually optimizing your process but i have def become reliant on it at points. The other thing that ive always thought was interesting is how the bodybuilder james hollingshead is pretty quick to switch where he is training as a means of getting out of a mental rut within his training
The real cringe isn't Sam Sulek's diet it's his TikTok. It's the most repetitive garbage you can imagine, like a thousand videos with the subtitle "I'm cooler and bigger than people who use correct technique on their lifts". I didn't think he would be this kind of clickbaity dude from watching him on UA-cam, but eh, it works with his audience, clearly. One thing I didn't hear you speak of when it comes to nutrition is the benefits of certain foods like beets or arugula for nitric oxide production. These foods tend to have extremely good micronutrient profiles too, so I consider them a great double-whammy. I don't do well with something like citrulline malate to increase NO so optimizing with foods is even more important for me.
I don’t have a tik tok so I’ve event seen that part of his stuff, interesting! And yea I have beet root powder in my pre workout every day massive fan of that stuff!
@@ShetharTraining I wish I hadn't seen his TikTok. I suppose he will outgrow this conflict-generating ego stuff and start believing in safety and good technique in due time.

Yea people are going to hard on Sam's diet lol dude is young let him enjoy his chocolate milk and donuts
Some people are weirdly heated about it (and by weirdly i mean its very clearly rooted in jealousy of his unprecedented growth but is very lame)
Sam is cool af, why would you even hate on him. 😂😂
