One thing the brothers and Ken’s foes have is the sense of sportsmanship and every death especially around Toki’s and Rhao’s death hit home the most especially in the ova but not as much with Shew’s and Southern’s death. I’m guessing the original 1980’s anime the impact is much stronger there.
