You should be able to remove the inner glass . There should be clips that lock the glass into place. My oven has them. The glass just comes right no messing around.
Yes! The first meal I prepared for my family when I moved into a new place, I managed to spill white sauce from scalloped potatoes between the glass pieces. Had to use a long metal skewer with a paper towel wrapped around it but wasn't able to get it all out. 🤦♀️

Not everyone can afford to buy one that has the option. Not everyone has the manual that came with the oven (especially in rentals or a home they bought that already had the oven).
I have a self cleaning oven and I rent but the electric that it cost to run that thing and the smell of it is just enough for me to clean it with lemon juice and baking soda it works great.
the self clean feature is mostly useless on on our oven, idk about others but I also heard the self clean options can wear at/damage your oven if used often

My thoughts also. I removed mine easy enough but the 2 ends that come out - one is straight and the other is not so I think I need my hubby to help get it back on.

I can't do that. The fumes get too strong. I have to do it overnight and close my bedroom door. I have a sliding glass door in my kitchen so I can ventilate it that way, but it's still strong until it airs out.

There is no problem with cleaning it while it’s still attached. However, cleaning the inside between two glass inserts will never happen and that’s the part that gets all Smudged and dirty as well
So true. I literally took it all apart and cleaned it. Only thing is it took so long and it has so many little parts to put back. Now I attach a rag to a ruler and wipe as well as I can through the little holes. 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️

Just don't, if the oven is not owned by you. If it is yours however, do it at your own risk. Especially with an old stove. Dawn from the Minimal Mom did it. It's on UA-cam.
Every oven has the method in the instructions manual. But you have to be careful. It is usually kept in place by some very powerful springs. If you hold your fingers in the wrong place whilst assembling it back, you might lose some of them. It can be done, but you have to be very extra careful and best to have another person helping you around, just in case.
I bought a house that my brand new stove didn’t have a manual. I asked the previous owner…. “I think I threw it away” was my answer, that was my answer for the new dishwasher and fridge. Luckily for the internet I could get some answers or download the manuals.
That's why I will not do this, I know I will not be able to get it on back easily and asking for my husband to do it will just have him annoyed that I took it off in the first place. Lol.

To clean between the glass, pull out the warmer drawer and feel for a gap at the bottom of the oven door. You would be able to slide a swifter duster in there.
Be super careful with your flooring. Oven cleaner can destroy it. You can use a razor blade to remove a lot of the baked on ick in your stove too. Goof off oven cleaner is ma gik! Love it! Pull your knobs off and toss ‘‘em in the dish washer! Your so funny. I was super excited too! Kills your back leanin over that door! Evil door! Ugh! All that ger osss stuff you find on some stoves? Spray it with that goof off oven cleaner. Silicone scrubbies are awesome too! You can smear cleaner all over and let it sit while you sip some tea. Then you do have to go back and wipe all the ick off. But until then🤗 enjoy your tea and be blessed!

You just changed my life!! Seriously!! I live with chronic back pain from failed back surgery and I get sciatica down both legs. I have so much hardware in my neck and lower back. Yes I have a self cleaning oven however you have to go through and wipe it out first and get the loose particals out and any heavy duty stains. Do you know how hard it’s been for me since I injured my back and then had surgery 12 years ago to try to wipe it out and scrub it out with that dang door on?!! I need a way to clean in the middle between the two glass panels because it makes an otherwise clean oven look dirty.
Try to pop off the top cover of the panels and then the top glass can be lifted so you can clean. Once clean put back and pop top cover back on
U may need a tool , it's online and I've done it .

The glass on the inside is removable, you pop off the cover and take it out. Your oven must have instructions abour how to do that.

Okay Okay mine just slide off with ease. I kept analyzing it and I saw levers on both sides no screws were holding it so I gently pulled and it separated with ease. Thanks young lady for giving this heads up😊my bad🤭
Different brands and models have different door hinges .... Some are super easy to remove and some need a mechanical engineer to figure out 😂😂😂😂😂😱😱😱
You just changed my life!! Seriously!! I live with chronic back pain from failed back surgery and I get sciatica down both legs. I have so much hardware in my neck and lower back. Yes I have a self cleaning oven however you have to go through and wipe it out first and get the loose particals out and any heavy duty stains. Do you know how hard it’s been for me since I injured my back and then had surgery 12 years ago to try to wipe it out and scrub it out with that dang door on?!! And I have a unit like yours but mine is double ovens. You’ve just changed my life…I would hug you if I was there in person!! Thank You for posting this, going to be the best upcoming weekend ever!!
