Mesh fruit bags are also great with cleaning bugs off the front of your car. Just put a car wash sponge inside the mesh bag and rub the bugs off with water and car wash detergent.

For a really dirty oven. I soak a towel in Ammonia and put it in on a rack overnight or longer and I don't have to scrub. I have to be very careful not to breathe in the Ammonia too.
But it works so well. I hate cleaning ovens.

You can spray the oven with oven cleaner, Pat dryer sheets all over the surfaces, let sit to let the dryer sheets go to work. Use the dryer sheets to loosen the baked on area's. Wipe out with a clean cleaning cloth to get the residue off. You might need to scrape some area's that are still burnt on. I have used a kitchen silverware knife, screw driver. Did not think of using a coin as this woman suggests. I did an oven clean out in an apartment this past week. I soaked the racks with the oven spray, dryer sheets and hilex water in the tub. I did have to also use scratch pads as these were pretty bad. The oven looks terrific. Passed the managers approval on behalf of the family.

I was wondering what the bottom of the oven was used for. I was using it for storage but knew there was for something else when a glass lid broke in the drawer while I was baking.😮it’s nice to know, finally.😊

I was able to take the door off. I left the oven door together. All i needed to do to clean in between the glass panel was to repeatedly rinse the door inside with plain warm water nothing else. There were some places where the water can be poured into the door while at the sink then pour it out again a few times until the outgoing water runs clean. To begin with ithe water was brown. I probably used warm water not hot because I was concerned about holding the oven door with hot water inside it, so I chose to use warm water. It cleaned up so well. Maybe i rinsed it at least 5 times, up to 8 times and it was so clean without taking the door apart. Have someone working with you to help with decisions and the weight of the door. Also I hear, that most oven doors can be replaced with a new one if you have to do that, but never investigated it. Keep ovens clean by putting sprinkling dry bicarb of soda over the bottom of oven, puff it on. If any grease there the bicarb will stick to the grease. You can still cook food while bicarb is on the bottom of the oven. When you want to clean the oven, wipe it out and all grease just wipes away easily with a dry paper towel. Baked on grease will be able to wipe away too, but may require some rubbing, which is fun, because its amazing how easy it is this way, compared to previous efforts of hard rubbing with other items and cleaners. Put more Bicarb soda on the oven base or bottom and leave it there all the time. Clean periodically and reapply. For the oven ceiling, you can puff it on with an ikea plaztic sauce bottle. And lots of grease will come off with a dry paper towel and dry bicarb of soda. Its pretty good you will want to do more. If you get called away from this job of cleaning, you can just leave it and come back to it even next week, and you can also still cook anytime without worrying about getting the cleaning powder bi carb out or cleaned out. Its a food grade product we use in cooking, so wont hurt your cooking, or the oven, or put chemicle fune into the air. Its not toxic. You can mostly clean and cook side by side as long as dont clean while oven is too hot or too warm. Its Dry Bicarb of soda, and dry paper towel, nothing else.

The mixture of baking soda, water, vinegar, and added dishwasher detergent will work great on the bottom of the oven. However, it is very difficult to remove the paste mixture if use on the top or the back area to clean grease. I would not recommend it.

If you are in North America, the oven temperature settings will be in Fahrenheit! Even though Canada went metric in 1971, some things remain in Imperial measurements in common usage, especially in the kitchen!

When it comes to vinegar, we need to know whether it is table vinegar or cleaning vinegar! Table vinegar has 3% acidity while cleaning vinegar is 10%! You find cleaning vinegar with the cleaning products in your local store!

@@valeriebreathet741 I was also wondering if it's 100 C or F. The first part of the video gave metric measurements and used boiling water (100 degrees Celsius). Farther along, imperial measurements are given along with the 100 degrees. Since this section is imperial, is the temperature Fahrenheit? Or are we attempting to boil the water, which would be 100 degrees Celsius?
