Thanks for this, from all at AS! We enjoyed watching and taking the feedback onboard, thanks again!
Mega, glad it's helps out 👊🏻😎
lets deal with the elephant in the room here.... 175 quid for two bits of cnc cut metal is a fucking piss take that adventure spec are hoping to rinse out of the TET community. i think its a disgrace, theyre worth no more than 20 quid a piece.
Thanks! Can’t wait to see them put this out for the 300L!!
I'm pretty sure this one fits both the 250 and the 300. Haven't tried it myself but sure I've seen Adventure Spec confirm that it does.
Hey Pete & Musky, yes AS have actually confirmed that this will fit the 300L but with the same issue of obscuring the dials, I presume the new one (due to be released early next year) will fit both and not do this 👍
Thanks! I’ll wait for the new version that doesn’t cover up my dash.
Well done! What kind of attachment did you use to secure the Quad Lock?
I like the usability of it, especially the Universal kit to be moved from bike to bike or fold down to put in a van or minimize the height. However, I wish the front plate should cover the gap from the bottom. I would probably match with a larger windscreen from Baja works or DIY a larger one to switch out depending on the type of ride.
Hey Calvin, yeah, the universal fitment kit is brilliant for that. Less so the fixed approach to this bike specific version. A bigger screen would also make an excellent addition 👍🏻
I guess most will be aware of the very dangerous situations which can arise from forgetting to cancel indicators. Just thought it worth a mention.
It's a really valuable point, Ken. It's really dangerous out on the road and one of the drawbacks of this fairing. Also, it's just simply annoying 🤷🏻♂️
Good to have your phone up , but not £100 good.
Thanks
No problem 👍
Does it block the wind pretty well at highway speeds?
I get thrown around when semi trucks pass me. I know it’s a light bike (300l) but will this help?
Hey John, it certainly blocks ‘some’ of the wind. I found that it moved the wind from your body but you still feel it on your helmet. It’s better than nothing for sure but if you wanted more complete wind protection a larger screen would do a better job of that 👍
is it suitable for capre ltre tablet or active 3 tablet
Hi Mac, I'm not aware of either tablet to be honest, but I would say it's more designed for a phone. It could take a tablet, but I'm not sure how the weight would affect it all.
Price has increased £30.00 over the last 6 months!
I knew they were doing a re-design to make it more robust and more vibration resistant but I didn't realise they were adjusting the price.
its a piss take. cnc cut metal isnt that expensive and certainly not to the tune of 175 quid which it is now. id like to see the adventure spec CEO come out and justify the price. as far as im concerned from what i can see is that theyve cornered themselves a piece of the market where they can charge whatever they want because theres no competition!
I suspect it wouod be justified by looking at research and design, cost of materials, packing, shipping and trying to I make a profit (this is essential for a business). I've no idea what their costs and overheads are, but I strongly believe their prices aren't all about making enormous profits. Ps, I don't work for AS in any respect, Im just trying to see the other side
Shouldagotarally 😉
