    I love your tutorials, my armies look so much better after finding your channel. The only thing I run into issues with is highlights, I can't seem to find the right consistancy of paint to get it to flow off the brush correctly, either it's way too thin and runs everywhere, or it's too thick and "sticky". You have so many videos, is one of them how you thin your paints?

    • @Warhipster
      @Warhipster  2 роки тому +1

      Hey buddy thank you so much for enjoying the videos! Thinning your paints is one of those things that is essay worthy i find. Every paint is different in terms of how much water it takes to thin it etc etc I've just filmed a video or clip that explains it a little better. My advice is to basically touch your brush into your water very slightly and add it to the paint. If to your eye it looks to thick add a little bit more. It really does depend on the paint though. And the Heat. And the Weather. Hopefully my video tomorrow will help you out a bit more!

    I love your videos mate. They're awesome and easy to understand and follow. Youve made me realise the potential that contrast paints have. My only issue is with the hit my bank account is gonna take now haha. Keep up the good work mate.
    Would you consider some of the other colour schemes for the lumineth? I'd like to see them alot.

    Quick question, if I end up making the robes (the 6:1 Wyldwood/Contrast Medium mix) a bit too dark to my liking, how could I fix this? It's just a shade too brown still, making it look a bit dirty. Love the video!

    • @Warhipster
      @Warhipster  2 роки тому

      Using some thinned down Rakarth Flesh is the best way to fix that tone if it's too dark! 6:1 CM:Wyldwood is basically recreating shaded Rakarth Flesh in one coat.

    Sorry for asking without being a patreon, but I just have to, are you ever going to tackle another space marine chapter than Blood Angels? I myself would love to see you tackle Ultramarines.

    • @Warhipster
      @Warhipster  3 роки тому +1

      You can absolutely ask yes! I've got the plans and the models built to do exactly that to do a How To Paint for each of the First Founding Chapters. I just haven't had time with the flood of New Releases and Indomitus to boot. Ultramarines are coming I promise.
