Thanks! I've been doing that since the very first video and plan on doing it as much as possible.
It's genuinely something I don't understand from others, I started the channel to be an active part of the community and to interact with other hobbyists, if I suddenly stopped doing it, all this would make no sense to me.
Also I always feel that if someone has taken their time to write a comment, the least I can do is give it a like and answer it. Sometimes UA-cam fails to notify me of comments though, so if I ever fail to answer or like a comment it's UA-cam's fault 😊

Shake it like a madman, be sure the can is warm before starting. Then do short bursts from close. Don't shoot it from 30 cm like the can says, that's a recipe for disaster, max 10 cms, and super short and quick bursts.
Also don't try to cover 100% of the model, that will only lead to caking your model in paint, use the base paint to cover those hard to reach spots

JuanHidalgo Miniatures 😂 I mean it’s not far off tbh. There are 8 Stormhosts with rules and lore in the Battletome (so kind of equivalent to the main space marine chapters) but then there are a BUNCH of colour schemes who all have like one sentence lore descriptions (so much closer to lesser successor chapters). But the Hammers of Sigmar (or golden poster boys) are pretty much the Ultramarines of AoS

I usually paint a test first which is usually something that I can strip if it goes bad like the backpack of a marine but I've never had to do that yet.
My sense of colour is very good, it's one of those things I just know it will work

This is definitely one my favourite paintjobs from you! Can you confirm the mix you used for basecoating the gold? On video you say it's 2:1 mix of Retribution armour and Stormhost silver but the graphics says the opposite ratio.

Try to warm the can before use in a bowl of hot water, not boiling! Just warm/hot.
Shake the can VERY well, and I cannot stress that out enough, if you think you are done, then you need to shake it more and remember to warm it up well.
Then the most important part is that you don't spray it too far away, that's what most people do wrong, spray close, quick short burst and moving the can quickly from side to side. Also don't overspray, it's better to cover small misses with the regular pot than to overspray it.

Man, I use contrast on a cape and it does NOT do that. It's always patchy.

Being the black one helps as it's extremely subtle over Mechanicus, but using a large brush is very important
