    For all those who say they can't get enough velocity (speed), tie your skates tighter. It makes a huge difference in your performance and allows for a quicker flick and turn, meaning you become faster

    Hello. great tutorial. I've been practising this for a few weeks now and I can now do this move, however I always seem to lose speed and can only do 2 of them before stopping. could you please try and explain in which part of the move do you generate momentum to move forward? I'm finding this bit difficult...Thank you for the great vid

  • @MikeIceKidd
    @MikeIceKidd 11 років тому

    the speed n momentum can be maintained within each half twist you do by putting more power in your hips to swing back around but try not to over twist, over twisting = more energy used also jordan skates very wide try to make it smaller n tighter, tighter = quicker n more grapevines

      I used this vid to teach myself on Roller-skates, its a very similar technique but you have to rise onto 2 wheels when transitioning from forwards to backwards.
      (by the way there wasn't any good grapevine tutorials for rollerblades, thats why i came here. Its pretty much the same thing) (I also added an extra lemon when going backwards to create more room for turning on 2 wheels)
