How many hours does it work for if you've tried using on full volume?
have you tried different EQ preset? Some say it fixes the lack of bass at full blast.
I tried everything.
I only use mine at 80%. No biggie as it was already loud in my room. Hell with the bass, it looks good. Really good.
It does look good. Reminds me of a beautiful girl, but with STDs. 😆

I gave it a shot, and just like u said the speaker only sounded good at bout 70% max volume or lower. Low volumes sound really nice but its too expensive to only perform good at low levels. Its really cool design but thats bout it. Max volume is very harsh to the ears with no bass. I traded mine the same day i got it for the JBL flip 6. The marshall stockwell 2 is way way better sound. Just not waterproof ect. The stockwell 2 is marshall best speaker our so far IMO just doesnt get that loud. Maybe 20W. The sound so clear and smooth and the bass has a very nice natural sound
Yeah, it just falls apart at higher volume levels. It's always interesting to see the fanboys of particular companies call me out as a hater of x brand for giving my honest opinion. The Zealot paid spies are really aggressive to call me out when I point out the issues with the Zealot speakers. 😂
@@JaysStraightUpReviews 🤣. Yes. Everyone has a honest opinion bout what sounds good or not. Truth is every speaker from different brands are usually good and bad in different ways. I'm a collector like u. I have many different sizes of speakers of ALL the well known brands. Bose, JBL, MARSHALL, UE, B&O, SOUNdcore, tribit, ECT. Everyone of em shines in certain areas and has flaws in areas. Up to u to decide if its worth the price tag.

Not sure what a cycling pocket at back is. 😆 You probably want to go for something more on the flat side like the Tribit Stormbox Micro 2.

I bought it and it only keeps playing for about 4-5 hours at full volume and full charge. According to marketing it should have 30+ hours at 50% volume.
That sounds ike unusually short play time. I wonder if there is some issue with the battery?
@@JaysStraightUpReviews I had it connected to cable for a whole weekend. It was fully charged. I use it at work in warehouse and after straight 4 hours there was just last battery indicator on the speaker so I had to connect it to my powerbank. I will test it once again but probably have to return it. 😒 According to some review the first version lasts 6.5 hours at full volume so this one should last about 9.75 hours with basic math.
@@Mr.Caligos why would you buy this overpriced, small and under-performed speaker to use in a warehouse? Return it and buy something more capable like a Tribit Blast or even a Soundcore Motion Boom Plus.
@@JaysStraightUpReviews I can't carry there large speakers. The full volume of Marshall Emberton II is enough there. The only problem is the playback time of mine is like 2.5x lower than it should be.
@@JaysStraightUpReviews Hi. Quick update. I played it at 50% volume for about 19 and half hours and it still had 40% battery life after that. So the marketing is probably right. And it indeed lasts just 4-5 hours at full volume.
For 170 you can get a jbl charge 5. Or even a soundcore motion plus. Which both offers app support. This marshall device should be able for the price of 80 to 100. 170 is too much for this speaker.
$170 for fake stereo and sibilant treble hmm 😒
Weird-ass design, with one driver in the front and one in the back. Do you listen to your main stereo system with one speaker facing backwards? ;-). I agree, you can get better value for less $$.
