The National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) (NECC) is an exhibition and convention centre in Shanghai, China. The NECC is currently the largest exhibition complex, making it one of the landmark buildings in Shanghai. The building was co-built by Ministry of Commerce of China and Shanghai Municipal Government.
The center consists of four exhibition halls, the NECC Plaza, office buildings and a hotel. The façade of the NECC building draws inspiration from a "four-leaf clover" with the plaza as the core and the exhibition halls as its leaves.
Located in the Qingpu District in western Shanghai, the NECC enjoys multiple means of transportation provided by the Hongqiao transportation hub, including buses, metro, high-speed railway and airport. Metro Line 2's East Xujing station is the closest metro station to the center.

Good Job to Cover Shanghai Auto Show 2023 Part 2
Really enjoyed this part two of the show. Excellent presentation of this colossal event. I liked and Subd .
Wow those are all beautiful cars. Like all of them
That's quite an experience. Thank for sharing Tim!
Thank you for the tour of this impressive auto show. Compared to American shows, I'm impressed not so much with the cars but with the fact that so many of the attendees were so modestly and tastefully dressed. And there was a refreshing lack of obesity. Question: Just how popular is camping in China?
Camping boomed in China shortly before/during the pandemic. Influenced more by the Japanese than the Americans, it's a more of a novelty among the younger generation than a family activity. It is however, a trend that seems to be receding/stalled in the past few months, or just had stopped experiencing that exponential growth, since everyone's free to travel again. But we're speaking of short term here. In the long run, outdoor culture has been growing, albeit slowly. The current Chinese middle class, fostered by China's extreme pace of urbanization, has a distinctive lack of connection to nature. Compared to the US, there's a lot to catch up - regulations, social perception, outdoor codes, safety codes, routes planning and environmental protection, the gear industry, the list goes on...after all when Theodore Roosevelt camped with John Muir in the Yosemite, China was still ruled by an emperor. But the demand is definitely there and China has plenty of nature to offer.

And the award for the most awkward name goes to... TRUMP XI 😂
GAC Motor Group’s subbrand of MPVs, sedans and SUVs
Yep , and something awkward as Taipei , copied from Tailand
The last time Jeremy Clarkson had trouble pronouncing the name, Obama was on his first term and Trumpchi were legitimately shitty cars. How it all have changed...
Poor Toyota and VW.
I think VW is doing OK in China. Although no match of the local NEV giants, they're faring better than any other German and Japanese brands. Having sat in one, the new FAW-VW ID.7 Vizzion seems like a legit sedan that should be able to hold its own against the reigning champion in class - the BYD Han EV - if priced right.
Toyota is a goner for sure.
VW is partnered with one of the Chinese automakers.
@@theolich4384 The HMI in VW's ID series are just jokes, they did the right thing to fire their whole managements of that in Germany.
