Poem from a Feral Cat
I may never be a lap cat,
or one who comes when called.
I may resist the hand that tries to touch
and some may think I’m flawed.
I may prefer my freedom
to your warm and cozy house
I may reject a bowl of finest foods
for the chance to catch a mouse.
But the box you put out for me,
Feels safe and warm and dry.
And I raise my eyes to thank you
when I see you walking by.
I eat the food you give me
I listen to your voice
I may never be a lap cat
but thank you for offering me the choice.
I may never be a lap cat
but I know you are my friend.
I don’t know who wrote it but it’s so sweet and reminds me of Cookie.
Thank you for watching
@08:35 Orange cat is like bro, you better come get some of these scratches!
😂 love it. The orange cat is Meowth, and he loves his scratches.
Cool. I have feral cat pets and still working with this one cat related to our others like a cousin. He was orphaned after his mom died. He is in the house now in his own room for a few years now.
A few years? Is he tame? Because that must be painfully boring for him.
He's not bored. He is living the life. He has another handicapped cat to be with. He watches TV & listens to music. Watches the outdoors thru the windows. He plays, eats, drinks, & uses litterbox.
That is so awesome that you are helping feral cats, too. I believe in treating animals in kindness even if that means we don’t live with them in a “traditional” way. If your cats and my little Cookie never want pet then that’s just fine with me so long as they are safe and healthy. Thank you for watching my video, I’ll keep posting about him and everything thing else on the Ponderosa.
I found this article about how much space does a cat need to live a comfortable happy life. I found it very informational, it says it’s the type of space vs how much.

And it sounds like Crazy Jae’s VidBits! is doing a good job with his cats. ☺️
@@pondarosalife7790 He is in my big roomy bedroom. He has a pet bed, he sleeps with me on the real bed, he sleeps in a chair. When he feels scared or threatened he goes under the bed such as loud noises outside the room or outdoors. This three legged cat spends quality time with him as well. It's not like he hangs out by himself. The tv or radio is always on. He plays with his toys. I play with him. He plays with the other cat. He had been fixed & checked by vet after I put him indoors. I pet & pick him up. He talks & listens to me. Uses the litterbox & his scratcher. He is very well mannered. He hasn't torn anything up yet. He used to get chased around the neighborhood by this bully cat day & night. I had a place for him outside back then. He used to hang out in the woods tho. Guess he had a good spot as he rarely got wet when raining or snowing.
I really was expecting to hear "Should I go or should I stay" blasting on your edit. lol I'd guess he is definitely a stray not a feral! He would have taken off so fast otherwise.
😂😂😂. That is the question. 😂😂😂 He is still sticking around but still won’t let me get close, so maybe he is a stray. I exactly didn’t know there was a difference between stray and feral, I thought it was the same word for the same thing. 😂
Cookie is so cute. He meows at you, so maybe he is a stray as opposed to feral.
