Break up Salesforce Related Lists into Tabs | Salesforce Lightning Page Layouts
Вставка
- Опубліковано 9 лип 2024
- The default Salesforce Lightning page layout creates one Related tab with all the related lists associated with the page layout. Although this is totally ok, you can exponentially increase user experience and adoption by breaking up Salesforce Related Lists into descriptive tabs.
In this video I will show you how to update your Salesforce Lightning page layout and break up your Salesforce Related Lists into tabs. You will also learn how to edit your page in the Salesforce Lightning App Builder.

Thank you! So glad you found it useful!
This is great! Would you also happen to know how to change which columns appear in the Related Lists? For example, in the Donations tab, you've displayed the Opportunities related list, which shows the columns of Name, Stage, Amount, and Closed Date. How would you go about displaying different/additional columns?
Hi Mark, so glad you found the video helpful!
To update the columns in the related lists, you need to edit the page layout for that particular page. Here's the documentation on how to do that: help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=customizing_related_lists.htm&type=5. Let me know if you need additional help!
This is great. Thank you a lot for your help. One quick question can we add a kanban under each Related list of the tab we can customize? So that we can easily drag or monitor if ever. Thanks
Thanks Carlomar, I am so glad you found the tutorial helpful! I believe the out of the box Kanban feature is only available in List Views. So you will need to go to the tab for the related object and use a Kanban there. Hope this helps!

Was addresses an object?
Can you let us know what is the maximum limit of Tabs that we can add using this method?
Can we add section in this related list tabs?
How do i change language for this tab label
Hi Dheeraj, that is a really good question. This was delivered in Spring 21. You will need to use custom labels to do the translation. The info and example is in the release notes here: help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_forcecom_lab_expressions_in_comp_labels.htm&type=5&release=230
Hope this helps!
