    Uncertain how it is even possible, given I’ve been doing this stuff since 2010, yet it is true when I tell you, generous genius Signiforce, I learned better ways to address visual display of data in reports from you via this video.
    What I love even more than efficient mastery of salesforce reporting, is when a person is SOOOOOOO smart they can explain a complicated topic to -me- anyone in a way that is both compelling and easily understood. [Think Richard Feynman.]

    thank you. I have a question. Can I group fiscal year and fiscal month together. Please help, thank you

    • @signiforce
      @signiforce  4 роки тому

      Hi Tran, glad you found the video helpful. Yes, you can do multiple groupings. In the group rows, you can add the initial grouping for Fiscal Year, and then add another Grouping by Close Month. I would recommend adding both to the Group Rows section.

    How can you order the columns by ascending or descending ????

    • @signiforce
      @signiforce  4 роки тому

      Hi Alejandra,
      In a non-grouped (tabular) report, you can click on any of the column headings to sort the by that column. In summary reports (grouped only by row), you can click the down arrow next to the column heading for the grouped row and sort accordingly and if you have the details showing you can further sort within each grouping by clicking on any of the column headings to sort.
      Finally, in a matrix report, you can sort the row grouping and column grouping by clicking the down arrow next to the column heading and sort accordingly.
      I hope this helps!

    Very good video. The best feature was the reference line, I haven't even thought about that in my charts

    Is there a way to have those charts appear in the subscribed email

    • @signiforce
      @signiforce  4 роки тому

      Hi Esteban,
      No, the emailed reports will not show the chart. If you want to see the chart, you will need to create a dashboard and schedule a dashboard refresh.

    Very clear
    For revenue chart, I want to make it on monthly basis but I cant find monthly revenue grouping..

    • @signiforce
      @signiforce  5 років тому +1

      Hi Tomitaro, glad you found this video helpful. For monthly groupings you could either group by Close Month or group by Close Date and then click the right arrow next to the Close Date column and select Group by Calendar Month. I hope that helps!

      Hi Payal,
      You can follow the same tutorial but instead of column chart like I did, use Line chart instead. Hope that helps.

    Thanks for the great video. Is there a way to add the total sum of the stacked bars as a label at the top of the bar?

    • @signiforce
      @signiforce  3 роки тому

      Hi Steve,
      Glad you found the video helpful! No, unfortunately it's not possible to add labels on a stacked bar graph. You can see the data when you hover over it or turn off the detailed records so you can see the summary numbers right underneath the graph.
      Hope that helps!

    Hi, great video and super helpful. Is there a way to export the charts after you make them so you can use them in presentations?

    • @signiforce
      @signiforce  4 роки тому +1

      Hi Kathleen, so glad you found the video helpful. Unfortunately it’s not possible yet to export the charts but there is an idea open for this functionality that you should definitely upvote here: success.salesforce.com/ideaview?id=087300000006n4zAAA
      Also, there are some alternative ideas on workarounds here: help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=000326224&mode=1&sfdcIFrameOrigin=null&type=1
      Hope that’s helpful!
