I have the plan, if I'm ever gonna get into a conversation with a girl, I'm interested in again (I mean, it's gonna happen eventually, right? 😅🤭 my one and only relationship ended over 4 years ago...), I wanna ask her if she likes cheese.... 😅
If she turns out knowing the movie and laughing, we're gonna get married. 🥰
It’s a Prep School - Private high school kinda thing
The Pizza Place is a hoot!
@Latifah-uq7zr I mean, it's THEIR channel, they can react to whatever they want. You won't find a supporter of Kung Fu Panda in me, I never even saw the first one, let alone anyone else... Sorry... 🤷♂️
But don't give up. Keep commenting, get more people in your boat, join together and vote, I'm sure it's gonna win eventually.
Stay passionate! 💪👍
Another movie with Amanda you guys should watch it WHAT A GIRL WANTS ITS ANOTHER ONE AMANDA’s best movies It Stars Colin Firth and the late Kelly Preston.
@Latifah-uq7zr You know, there is this one channel, I recommended a movie and he said that he was interested in reacting to it. Kept pushing it further and further since October 2022!! 😅
Hasn't reacted to it yet. More recently, for a few months now, I recommended another movie that I would love to see a reaction to, that seems to have a bit more support from other viewers, too. And he has replied that he's planning to do it, multiple times now.
Still hasn't. 🤷♂️
It is, what it is. Can't cry about it. Stay patient, positive and passionate. Suggest it a few more times, so it gets supporters and into polls a lot and you will eventually get there. I don't know what else to tell you.....
“This is the most 2006 thing I’ve ever seen” and it’s literally a retelling of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night
Came here to just say that lol
Yes but Leo DiCaprio's Romeo and Juliet was also the most 90's movie too. It's not the story, it's the styling.
But in a very 2006 way hahaha
Hopefully Willy Shakes doesn’t get cancelled. He’s too hip for this modern world.
They're talking about how they did the montage not the story itself. That montage they showed is very 2006
Oak and Answers weezing laughs are EVERYTHING!!! 😂😂😂
I didn’t think they’d make it 😂
It was GOLD 😂
Lol😂 replayed that a couple of times, hilarious 😆
Love them somuch
It made my day 🤣🤣 couldn’t stop laughing
She's The Man is such a genuinely unhinged movie, it's incredible! Truly one of the top modern Shakespeare adaptations of all time
I'm so glad I live in an era where I can watch this movie, 10 Things I Hate About You, the Leo Romeo and Juliet, A Knight's Tale, and Deliver Us From Eva.
@@chaoticignorant483 I loved 10 Things I Hate About You, I watched it every single time I caught a rerun of it on tv when I was a kid/teen.
@@chaoticignorant483 Knight's Tale is Chaucer, though, not Shakespeare.
I love that Eunice's part was originally very small, but because they couldn't stop laughing at Emily Perkins's portrayal of her they kept giving her more and more lines
Thank you for sharing! That is freaking hysterical, she’s awesome!
Same
Special features stories FTW
No Mason feels so weird! It's like a alternate universe
Agreed
Truuue
The white tshirt is missing 🚬
You don't know what your missing until it's gone lol
Agreed
I get so happy when u guy genuinely likes my "teen girly movies" 😂
Most of them suck, but the great ones are GREAT!
Mean Girls, Freaky Friday (Lohan), and She's the Man are all fantastic
@@trequor10 things I hate about you!!
I was so confused with Oak's opening. I thought to myself, "That's the wrong voice!" 😂
I had a delayed reaction it took me a little bit to realize there was a disturbance in the openings continuity.
Same! It threw me off, like 'something is off *eye squint*'
I was so scared seeing The Oak not enjoying the movie, but then he really got into it and gave it the right score 👏
Riiight? Like that pain in the pit of your stomach when you're starting to realize the guy you're dating isn't as great as you thought he was 😂
there were so much of Amanda Bynes iconic line delivery that had a chokehold on my childhood because of this! "...and when I close my eyes, I see you for who you truly are, which is UUUG-LAY" and " Oh. Right. OH, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! IT BURNS!" so fun to laugh at you guys laughing along 🤣
I quote her gouda line all the time! 🤣
I repeat her “thuper duper excited!” “Ya know it breh” “My favorite’s Gouda” her delivery is what makes them truly 😆
I still quote her too !! I thought I was alone in this 😮
the one that really got me for some reason is 'i gotta lifetime of knowledge' 😂
Her goofy ass man-accent slays me. The rest of the movie is funny and well done too, but hearing Amanda Bynes talk in that voice puts me in stitches
The amount of wheeze laughing in this is HYSTERICAL 😂😂😂
"What are you gonna do? Drown me in your tears?"
😅🤭
LEGENDARY quote! 🤩😍
Channing's delivery of that line is what really makes it 😂
@@crystalrose_pa exactly.
I've never seen The Oak come alive like this before. Every reaction was hysterical - and rightly so because this movie is hilarious.
Answer's reaction to this movie was truly one of the most enjoyable things I've seen.
they saying “this is so bad” and unable to stop laughing ITS A MOOD
Easy A is a funny Amanda Bynes role. Plus Emma Stone, Stanley Tucci, Lisa Kudrow. Great movie
Oh! One of the bests! They needa see that!
I would LOVE to see them do Easy A!!
Yes yes!! Easy A is great. I think they would like it.
YESS EASY A PLEASE
YES one of my faves!
"Be a man ... rub some dirt in it". One of the best quotes ever.
It's not a college she ends up going to, it's like a Prep school. Their rivals are her old school. Also, "I got a lifetime of knowledge.", one of the best movie quotes ever.
What's a prep school?
The term you’re looking for is a “boarding” school.
@@jamesmarciel5237it’s just a different term.
A Prep school is like a High School but it's focus is preparing kids for college, many are private (probably expensive) or religious or boarding (you live there), but the opposite could be true (free, not religious and most are day schools where you live at home)
@@yamyrm3687 Thanks! x
Amanda's physical comedy skills have always been top notch.
"Look at the lower lip bite. I'd be done" 😂😂
😂😂😂😂 We all would
You know, seeing as you guys liked this and Pride and Prejudice, I think you might really enjoy The Devil Wears Prada
Omg yessss
Yea they would 💯👠
YESS OMGGG
Holy shit you're so right they would have so many opinions
@@JeM130177 No, no. It wasn't a question. 😘
I love how purposely ridiculous Amanda is in this movie, the towel in the face scene is my favorite as well xD
“She gives good nod” is truly one of the most underrated lines in this classic!
I totally forgot about that line and was crying laughing just like they were 😂😂
I think I'm the only person who doesn't know what that means.. what does it mean?
@@El-nd4itblowjob
@@El-nd4itthe p13 way of saying she gives good head, aka a blowjob
@@El-nd4itYou’re too young to be here.
“She was a smidge bit expressive” I’m sorry? That’s Amanda’s signature. She was perfect
I have the towel slap scene burned into my brain permanently tbh 😂
In the DVD commentary, they tell the story that Channing accidentally flicked the other actor in the eye with the towel and actually injured him. But it's still the take they used, because of the real reaction.
"Is it just me or does this soccer game have more nudity than most?" The line of the movie.
Hahah I love that line too!
Is Answer okay after this?😂😂😂😂 I love how much he was enjoying himself
I don't think I've ever watched a video where you guys laughed THIS much!!! 😂 this is one of my favorite movies so I am so glad that you all loved it too. Also this is one of the most quoted movies ever, so don't be suprised if you see cheese and automatically say 'my favorites Gouda' 😂😂
His name was Duke because this film is based on 'Twelfth Night' by Shakespeare, and the character Channing played is based on the character of Duke Orsino from the original play.
Easy A is also another amazing movie and totally underrated.
agreed!!! they have to do that one next!
Casting actually wanted someone other than Channing Tatum to play Duke, but Amanda Bynes pushed to have him play the role. So some people say she kickstarted his acting career!
I know why she pushed for Channing to have the role😏 lmao jk
@@Haru_Misu Honestly, that's fair. I mean obviously the characters had to have chemistry for the role to work like it did.
That actually makes so much sense to me because he really has great subtle comedic timing. I can imagine their playing well off each other in that way probably added a lot to personal chemistry!
The song " My Dirty little Secret by The All American Rejects was basically featured in every teen show and movie in the 2000s lol.
Sooooo true lol I remember it in Kill John Tucker 😂 it’s was the « edgy » but not too much song
You mean John tucker must die
@@vtetrooo1312 It's John Tucker Must Die! Another classic with similar humor.
Another soccer comedy is "bend it like Beckham" if you guys haven't seen that yet.
I've been asking reactors to do this one for years. The requests always get a lot of interest but it never quite makes the cut.
I allways request this movie, so glad to see more people who enjoy it. Maybe one day we'll have our wish come true
There are literally no reactions to it on YT, and it makes me so sad. Underrated as hell.
@@_mermaidguts YES!!!
Its a crime that no one has reacted to it, it's a brilliant movie.
Y’all getting so excited over Toby and Eunice getting together was the icing on the cake! I love seeing y’all get so invested!
Proof we never used to take ourselves so seriously. Loved that you could laugh the whole way through and just accept the campy absurd fun.
This movie is a master piece, I dont know how many times I watched it and how many times I showed this to others. Everyone loved this movie.
The wheezing and laughing in this was amazing! It looked like you guys had such a good time watching this like 10 things I hate about you 😂
I remembered this movie being so frickin funny as a kid, and when I recently rewatched it as an adult, it totally holds up. Childhood favorites holding up in adulthood is rare but this is one of those movies. It's so funny
Somehow the towel whip scene always get's me...
I grew up with Amanda so this is everything. This was my comfort movie also.
For more Amanda Bynes, I recommend "What A Girl Wants", "Hairspray" and "Sydney White". For another good 2000-nds movie, I recommend "Accepted".
Your reaction to Toby and Eunice finally getting together was everything. Great reaction guys. 💕
14:41 One of my favorite moments, I am SO glad you noticed the "nod" line. I don't know how they filmed it, it would be HILARIOUS if that was improvised. But some people actually miss the line. And a lot of the other more "hidden" humor, too...
Can someone explain me the joke?
@@aly6192 sure, I was considering to do that anyway. In case this channel has some YOUNGER audience as well...
Well, basically the short explanation would be, that "to give head" is a derogatory but common description for giving someone a blowjob.
So, if someone "gives good head", they can blow good. 😅🤭
I will not describe, what a BJ is, I hope you understand that the context is of sexual nature....
And within the context of the scene in the movie, the way he said "Yeah, she gives good nod" after she nodded so flirtingly to Viola, it's implied that she.... you know? 😅🤭🙈 And it just makes you burst out laughing.
At least I did.
The age of the character and that they're in high school, so technically allowed but still pretty naive and inexperienced adds to the humor of said context...
Hope I could help...
I'm 38 already, so I hope, it's okay....
@@aly6192 Blow*ob
@@aly6192A ‘nod’ can also be synonymous to blowjobs. Hence, ‘she gives good nod’ means… yeah
@@aly6192 the joke alludes to a blowjob😂
Fun fact this was based on a play by Shakespeare! This movie is truly a masterpiece 😭😂👏🏽
All the wheezing laughs had me wheezing too! This was a great reaction. 🤣🤣
Love that Oak’s favourite comedies are both adapted from Shakespeare. Shows what a genius this writer was. His plots still engage with modern audiences.
Are you guys going to watch Ted Lasso? The best football comedy programme ever. You’ll love it and it guarantees plenty of laughing. Great reaction guys! Thank you x
Now you guys need to react to What a Girl Wants, another gem from Amanda Bynes!!
I really think that one is going to hit them in the feels
Sydney White is an Amanda Bynes movie that I think is criminally underrated. I'd love to see you guys react to it.
That film is so funny, would love to see them react to that!
i agree! great film
Answer was killing me with his scooby-doo laughing 😂😂😂
One of my favorite Amanda Bynes performances
I sing the "welcome to Illyria" song way more frequently than is necessary. 🤣
Debutante Balls are real. They also have them in California. I attended one last year to support a friend’s daughter. It used to be to parent the girls as ready for marriage but now they get college scholarships, do volunteer work and attend mental health clinics.
Oak! Another great soccer film is Bend It Like Beckham, one of my favorite coming of age films, I’d love to see ya’ll react to it! This was another great one guys!
Yes! The OP girl centered soccer film!
Love Bend it Like Beckham!
Great movie
the Oak loving this film and 10 Things I Hate About You is a clear sign he's into these modern Shakespeare adaptations!
There was a plethora of Shakespearean adaptations in the 90s/00s, and it was a glorious time for a Shakespeare nerd like me. The Bard transcends era and locale; his stories are universal.
I can confidently say that, in this entire ridiculous movie, the most unbelievable part was her playing not one, but two soccer games at the end with her hair down! I would believe literally anything shown in this movie before I would believe that 🤣
Even more unbelievable is the fact that she was able to outperform some of the boys.
I never seen Oak laugh so much and that just proves how hilarious this movie is
Sydney White with Amanda Bynes was funny as well for a 2000s film. She did great in Hairspray too.
Sydney White is brilliant, would love to see them react to that!
I love how this is literally just a modernization of Shakespeare's "Twelfth Night." Very similar to "10 Things I Hate About You" is a retelling of "The Taming of the Shrew." Hilarious. 😂
NO WAY!! this is one of my favourite comfort movies🥲😁
Answer laughing at everything is the best, this was so fun!
I watched this so much growing up that I know the entire movie word for word no joke. Love the reaction guys!!!
I saw this movie in the cinemas!! Loved it ever since! Amanda is great in "Sydney White" as well, another college aged romcom, but based on Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
The amount of belly laughs out of The Answer for this movie was amazing 😂
I do not remember the last time I saw you guys laugh this hysterically 😅😅
I loved they cheered for for Eunice and Toby at the end😂😂
I love how much answer loved this movie hahah
This movie definitely has some moments that when it released I didn't question at all, now I do double takes and gasp 😂
I remember this movie coming out. I was 13yrs old and thought it was so funny and still do. To this day, I randomly sing Malcolm's stalker song, "I see you through your window, while im standing on a tree outsiiiiiide" to my dogs lol
I love this movie. There was a good six months where I was obsessed with it as a teenager and I would watch the commentary track over and over. The "she gives good nod" line was improvised. :) And the actors who played Toby and Andrew (Duke's best friends) were apparently begging for more lines in the workout scene and you can see them casually "curling" a barbell loaded with a ridiculous amount of weight in the background of one shot lol. Duke's necklace with the ring had a whole backstory that was told to Channing Tatum, it was supposed to belong to his character's mom but they never mention it in the movie. They also originally had Malcolm escorting Monique at the Debutante Ball but the cast protested and pointed out he was kind of geeky and they didn't think Monique would end up with him, so she's escorted by Justin instead.
Move-in days at dorms are so hectic that people screwing around in the hallways would just piss everyone off.
the oak going from "this is so bad!" to "this is SO good!" by the end is my favourite
I just love you guys lol! You are so open minded even when you know the movie won't be your vibe, it's appreciated. Loved watching!
That “some are born great..” quote at the end of the film actually comes from the Shakespeare play Twelfth Night. Malvolio says it in the play
Amanda Bynes was a true physical comedic genius especially for her age. Even having her own show titled after her at age 13. It’s truly heartbreaking to see her now. She deserves the best
After this you need to react to 13 Going on 30 !!!
This movie is a classic, Amanda Bynes is such a great actor! I say all the quotes from this movie daily lol. ❤😂
I’ll never forget when we watched this in my 7th grade English class after we read the Twelfth Night🤣
You should really check out Hairspray. Also a fun time and Amanda Bynes is also in it
Fun fact: The blonde actress who plays Olivia, (Laura Ramsey) was born and raised in Brandon Wisconsin. A tiny town about 45 minutes South Southwest of Appleton. I went to high school with her older brother and sister. ON WISCONSIN!!
I never realized just how much this movie takes from the classic 80’s comedy, Just One Of The Guys, which is great. Recommended for a future reaction.
That's because Just One of the Guys was based off the same Shakespeare play.
Took me a while to notice but Robert Hoffman who plays Justin was actually the lead in Step Up 2 which is pretty cool since Channing 's career *really* started with him leading Step Up.
Also, I recognized him from Aliens in the attic comedy.
Watching y’all absolutely dying to my favorite movie from my teen hood is the best thing I’ve seen in a while 🤣 whew, I needed that laugh!!!
I loved this movie growing up, my friend and I used to just repeatedly watch the towel whipping scene in fits of laughter. It was so lovely watching you guys genuinely laugh to this, I think it is one of those films that you just have to give in to the whimsy and chaos of it all for sure, and it was truly a joy to watch that with you guys - thank you for sharing!
I’ve seen this film a million times and don’t think I’ve ever laughed like I just did!
Seeing you react to it has given me a new appreciation of the film!
Loved seeing you all laugh like that!
If you want a scene to be awkward, you hire David Cross. He's the master.
I still cackle thinking about "You don't come into a man's house and touch his duck" from Pitch Perfect 2 😂
"yeah she gives good nod!" has to be the most underrated line is this movie, so dumb so funny lmao
gotta love when the oak gets super hyped. gets the energy up and i'm right there with him losing it lmao
My childhood comfort movie, I used to watch it on repeat! lol
‘Sydney White’, ‘What a Girl Wants’, and ‘Easy A’ (starring Emma Stone) have a few more great Amanda Bynes roles.
I’m afraid The Answer is about to pass out laughing like this🤣🤣🤣
need yall to do Easy A! Amanda’s great in that too
Not sure if any of you know this but the plot and characters of this movie are based on the play “Twelfth Night” by William Shakespeare. Lots Easter eggs like the name of the school or pizza place, and Channing Tatum’s character based off a DUKE named Orsino.
The same goes for “O” with Josh Hartnett and Makhi Pfeifer being based on Othello by Shakespeare!
With Answers weezing and Oak slapping the desk and Diamond Dave's looks it was killing me 😂💀 Oak " I broke my whatever" 💀🩵
When he said who else wore a ring on a chain back in the day my first though was Frodo.
I’m just realizing you guys are from Wisconsin like me when I heard him say Oshkosh 🤣 I must’ve been under a rock lol
Appleton! -Oak
This movie is SO good😂 peak 2000’s movie gold mine
Yooooo this was my favorite film for a long time!!! A lot of the jokes don't hold up nowadays, so it can be a tough watch at times, but the nostalgia still HITS for me. Never got that "nod" joke until today ahaha 🤣🤣🤣
Fun fact: this plot is actually based off of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night - hence, Duke Orsino, Viola and Sebastian, Olivia, Malvolio, Illyria, the twin switch and love mixups/foibles, etc. It's one of my favorite Shakespearean comedies too, which tracks. So TECHNICALLY, while nowadays this is a pretty cliche storyline, the OG play was kind of the first time a plot like this had been done. :)))
Glad you all enjoyed it!!! I love David Cross and Channing Tatum in this one, just SPOT ON comedic chops. Still so funny, so engaging, goofy and unrealistic, but a great time.
Which jokes dont hold up?
They originally wanted Jesse McCartney to play the real Sebastian. Not only would that have been iconic, it would have made more sense physically.
Answer's laugh had me crying 😂😂😂
