If you work extremely close to the food that your clients will be eating, I would advise you to tie your hair or wear a hairnet on all your hair, a hair can accidentally fall into people's food. You could also wear an apron, it would make everything more professional and more safe, safe in terms of spills, hygiene, or people's own perception of who is handling their food, just advices! By the way, I loved the vibe of the video, it's very relaxing, you're gorgeous, your flawless skin is incredible! 😊
I'm french so this is maybe why I ended up on your video about a bakery 😅 anyway its the cosiest vlog I've watched, so calming, therapeutic with the jazz music, your nice shots and your kind attitude towards the clients and your teammate. Thanks !!! Have a nice day
Your first day at the bakery cafe in Sydney is a delightful journey captured through the lens of a GoPro! It takes me back to the enlightening teachings of my lifecoach @LisaHaisha during an impactful retreat in the Philippines. Your exploration of new experiences resonates with the spirit of openness and discovery that Lisa instilled in me. Both your bakery adventure and Lisa's wisdom inspire me on the exciting path to greatness.
Well done! pretty good for a first day working in the cafe haha. Will have to check this place as a Balmain visit is overdue! Love this day in the life format!
thank you :') its actually harder than it looks... respect for those who can handle massive queues. should defs give it a go, i think you'll have fun!!
I enjoyed watching this. I too don’t remember customers or their orders exactly but you will eventually or you can make note of their shirt on your copy of the receipt.
Hehe opening and working in a cafe is something I’ve always dreamt of! This looks so fun heh. I’m also surprised at the good quality videos from the gopro!
One of my absolute dreams other than being a surgeon is opening a bakery/coffee shop that also have a flower corner in it hope this dream becomes a reality one day
I know this video is old but for anyone else wanting to work in a bakery I would wear my hair up in a ponytail, clawclip, bun anything to keep it out of food and to keep it out of your face!💗
I have my last shift today at a bakery cafe, its 8 hours.. gonna miss it :( also a great form of exersice during rush hours haha, i always reached 8-10k on 8 hour shifts.
loved your video! Subscribed immediately :) By the way, I spent six amazing years in Sydney, and your video brought back some incredible memories ! thx :D
love this work vlog!! I noticed you provide a lot of service, especially with remembering each order to each table. Do you get tips at all? Especially since in the US, many Square POS have a screen where they ask for tip or no tip. I live in a touristy area in the US with lots of cafes, & the benefit of these local shops is getting tips to share with everyone on top of hourly wage! So excited to see more!
usually in australia people don't get tips because wages are pretty fair! also im pretty sure her bf? owns the cafe so she's either getting paid pretty decently or shares some of his profits if she's helping out
thank you, we try!! sydney's casual minimum wage is pretty decent ($23+) and even more on the weekend so there isn't really a need for tipping here! however, some customers do tip if they feel like it : ) personally, i'm not getting paid at all, i just help out here and there!
it was a bit hard for me to follow initially as well! the reasoning is that it takes longer to key in the additional requirements on the POS machine (eg. which type of milk, 1/2 sugar..etc) so we just enter the bare minimum on POS that would affect pricing (eg. extra shot, cup size, alt milk) then write it up in post its : )
Loved your video. But u film others which i don’t think they are aware of that. So like we’r not really interested in seeing others’ faces, yours is enough :)

what do they mean by half sugar. I've worked in a cafe before and burger/coffee shops I have never heard anyone mention "1/2 sugar"
At mine it just means that u put in half a sugar
half a sachet, half a teaspoon? because we have sachets here or u put the sugar in urself from sugar containers on the table
