You mentioned adding more stitches makes a thicker edging. How many stitches would you cast on and work ING pattern?
will this flatten a finished curling edge? your sample swatch looks like my cotton baby blanket. i want to fix the curling on the row edges

How could I make a wider cord? Would it work if I knit more rows before I pick up the next stitch? 🤔
You can make it wider by casting on more stitches when you first start.
