Fun fact: The voice actor for hercules is Kevin Sorbo, the actor who played Hercules in the TV show "Hercules: the legendary journeys" back in the 90's - early 2000's
He also has a skin, and voice pack in the game Smite as Hercules.
I remember the first time I played this, I recognized his voice the second he said "Hello Brother". I was stoked.

Kratos expression only hardened AFTER Herakles DIRECTLY stated he was going to destroy him. Kratos had no issue with him, thus, no need to violence or anger.
Its a really small thing that ties into his later development in GoW4 in a really logical way.
We just forget because 99% of the enemies in this game actually want to hurt Kratos.

You know, if this Hercules was more like the Heracles from Greek mythology, there could have been a chance that he would relate with Kratos, considering how he was manipulated into killing his family as well before his 12 labors.
It would be sick if they fought side by side just like with deimos.

I beat this game over 10 times on very hard. I have an obsession with it. been playing this game since it first came out in march 2010. this game is really short though

@HellDawg I'm writing it as it's written in greek. I wouldn't want my name to be butchered in another language, so I show the same courtesy to all names. And Hercules is a roman hero while Herakles is obviously the OG Greek one.
You might argue that it's the same difference, but to me it's disappointing that the name form of a roman rip-off is used over the actual greek one. It's like calling Zeus Jupiter in a greek story.

My only gripe is the lack of a new game plus. And I know there is a glitch to get all the weapons in the beginning but would have liked an official NG+

Cant I just talk about how good the WRITING is for this game? Not only that but the DELIVERY of said lines are just TOP NOTCH! Good god their are so many lines you can quote from, so many moments that stick in your head and never leave you. The entire prologue of this game is a Prime example of how the game will stay with you from beginning to end. By far one of the greatest games in the Playstation 3 generation. Could be my favorite
This goes even deeper in that in Spartan Culture, most Spartan Kings were said to be able to trace their lineages back to Hercules and he was worshipped by the soldiers much like Ares.

Here’s something else you could do:
Try jumping in the air and attacking Hercules. He throws his punches much faster then you do that, and he doesn’t build-up for a third attack. I think that’d work well (ground attacks also work tho).
