Kratos is really one of the greatest video game characters ever. There's so much to his character and every tragic thing that happens to him manages to generate a degree of sympathy.

God of War 2 and 3 for me will always be the best GOW, the build up and the grand finale just cannot be topped. They're literally done to perfection.

The beautiful thing about the god of war franchise is that for the people who have never played the originals and hear why kratos refuses to talk about his past. All they have to do is play the older games. In other words, his past is actually playable and not just a lore you have to read) almost like your along side him on his path of vengeance and who he used to be.
This Boss Battle is just 10/10.
