    Wow Dino! I used 303 Protectant for the first time today after watching this video and I’m blown away by how well it works, how great all the plastics and trim look. Thanks for all your awesome videos

      Hey Lavita, I'm glad you found the video helpful. I also have a series on maintenance that you might also find helpful. There are plenty of Jeep clubs in Ontario. Joining one would be a good thing to do so that you can get out on some Newbie Runs with your Jeep.

      @@CheaperJeeperTV I will definitely look into those groups, thank you for recommending! Do you know if I can buy any of the products at a Canadian Tire or another store in person? The Meguiars Hot Shine isn’t available on amazon at the moment.

    • @CheaperJeeperTV
      @CheaperJeeperTV  3 роки тому +1

      The Meguiars products are available at Canadian Tire. The 303 Aerospace protectant is available at Royal Distributing, as well as on Amazon, and maybe at some specialty detailing shops near TO.

      @@CheaperJeeperTV I’d love to see a video of cleaning the interior of the Jeep. Im trying to find a good product for my leather seats. Do you recommend any? Thanks again :)

      Hey Lavita, In my opinion, almost everything that is rubber, vinyl, or plastic can be conditioned and cleaned with 303 Aerospace protectant. As for the leather, I don't have a recommended product. I usually just wipe it down with a damp cloth. However, if you come across a good product that you'd recommend, let me know. Cheers.

    Brown tires! A dedicated tire cleaner scrubbed on vigorously will get rid of it, vs regular car soap.
    The rail dust is removed with a clay bar. Wet the surface with an appropriate spray and rub the clay around. Labour intensive but will pull 100% of the particulates.
    Such an underrated channel - so many great tips! Thanks!

      Hi, have one more question do you think the 303 protectant will get the brown tires black again or would you still recommend the tire shine? I have my rims plasti dipped and don’t know if it will attack the plasti dip in any way if it comes in contact with it. Thank you already for your tips.

    • @CheaperJeeperTV
      @CheaperJeeperTV  3 роки тому +1

      @@charlym9550 The thing about the 303 is the tires will use up a lot of it, and that is expensive. I find tire shine works really well, and lasts a fair bit of time as well.

    Hey D, thanks for this tutorial! I just purchased a new Jeep wrangler two weeks ago. How long should I wait before doing my first cleaning? Also, how long of an interval period should I go between cleanings? 2 months or so? Thank you!

    I have been using a product to repel water from my windshield. Although I am happy with its water dispersing properties, I sometimes think it causes the outside of my windshield to fog up in the morning. Have you used a similar product? I wonder if your viewers are happy with a particular product.

    • @CheaperJeeperTV
      @CheaperJeeperTV  3 роки тому

      Hey Randy, That's pretty interesting. A lot of times people have positive initial impressions on a product but in the long term, maybe the product doesn't end up meeting initial expectations. I'd be curious to hear from anyone out there on their experiences with these water repelling coatings on windshields.

    • @CheaperJeeperTV
      @CheaperJeeperTV  4 роки тому

      Hey Rick,
      A chamois works, but the Absorber towel is far superior from my experience. I had a neighbour try mine and switched over to the Absorber towel due to it's superior water absorbing properties.

    Noticed you didn't do the side steps with 303, any reason?

    • @CheaperJeeperTV
      @CheaperJeeperTV  Рік тому +1

      Hey Clamper,
      No reason. It's just that they are also a little trickier to do, given the texture on them. They also would require a lot of product as a result. I believe Meguiars Tire Shine is an easier product to apply in that application, but I think 303 works better as a protectant where needed. I hope that helps.
      Cheers.
