Freakin cool to the 1rst degree man! 😝🤩😎 Brilliantly done! Absolutely Epic Beetle! Top notch video! I watched every second of this! And I know I’ll do it again! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻❤️❤️❤️👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼
Oh, beautiful scale driving! It looks so good! And nice music choice, really a pleasure to watch! I'm not one for scale looks myself but I do appreciate the time and effort put into these models!
Thanks mate. It ran far better than I expected and I went from not being very excited about the chassis and car to absolutely loving it once it was running . It’s become a fave . 👍
I have one of these. Super fun RC to drive around and to upgrade. I've put oil filled dampers on mine and a SuperStock BZ motor. She not only handles like a proper rally car now, but accelerates like a demon. Cheers!
I must admit that when this model first came out it didn't really appeal to me at all, but seeing this video I realise that actually it is something quite unique and interesting. Although lacking a bit in the suspension department it handles the conditions very well and looks like huge fun!
Hi. Yes I agree. I even built it and shelved it for a couple of months tbh . But took it out and absolutely loved it. Like you say it’s unique and interesting and far more capable and fun than it has any right to be . I got oil shocks and it still bobbled about but I never lost control as it handles very well. Even with the tiny wheels. Just good old rc fun and the beetle body just adds so much character. Thanks for watching buddy 👍👍👍
Hi there Dom, a fantastic looking Beetle Rally RC, such as coincidence too, I have just been working on a Beetle Rally bodywork, have yet to build the chassis though. Looks great. Take care and best wishes 😉😊😉
@@rc-dom-uk hi there Dom, I’m following that lead too, I’ve managed to source some Tamiya mini CVA shocks to fit onto the chassis too. Take care and best wishes 😊😉😊
Hi Dom and what an excellent video you two have put together again! Your mf01x looks to handle a lot better than mine, I got oil shocks but it keeps on bouncing! Love your music choice on this one, mate! All the best, keep 'em coming! 🤩👍
Hey mate 👍👋 yeah it does bounce but it didn’t affect the handling. I got soft shock oil in . The paths are quite flat though here . I think anything to stony or branchy wouldn’t suit it as much . Thanks mate 👍
well i guess you would just not put the prop shaft in to the front wheels . you will need some very gripy rear tires though . 👍 also you would need to seal the portals where the prop shaft connects to the front and rear gear boxes 👍
@@rc-dom-uk Thank you ☺️, I will be sure to search the portals and if it’s to difficult to handle, I can always install the driveline. Tires are proving to be the hardest part. I’m trying to find some to resemble what the real class 11 use, like a 7.00-15. If I have to, I could buy a set of the ones they sell for the stock beetle and go from there. Any ideas on tires or anything helps. Thank you fun video
@@tomcook5813 you can fit quite a few types of larger wheels to this chassis . so don’t be limited by the stock wheels . notive the class 11 generally have big wheels . so look at the tt02 range . then you have a wider choice of tires . you might have to trim the body though obviously.
amazing looking beetle, cool rip dude😀👌👌👍👍😎😎😎
Cheers buddy 👍👍👍
Excellent again, have a nice weekend and best wishes Heiko
Thankyou. And you Heiko. 👍👍👍 best regards mate👍👍👍
