Stood about 3 feet in front of em at big gun burger in charleston sc. They backlined my shoegazer homies rig and ended up blowing out his head. Shortest person in the band was like 6'5.
Yep, I had one - Yamaha SG-3, about 1966-67 - sold it about 3 years ago. They do come with a whammy bar, in spite of Flip's approach. I loaded Cool Rails pickups into mine - it totally rocked. They're beautifully engineered, and Yamaha figured out the floating bridge system waaayy better that Fender did. They heavier than a jazzmaster, fuller tone, great sustain. Better than my 1966 Jazzmaster anyways, but that has better tonal snap on the tops. Trade-offs, right?
Yes, I was expecting something special from lots of the comments. I find it dull n the songs don't go anywhere interesting. I do appreciate they're trying to be fresh n unique. It just doesn't do much for me.
