I have been looking into this also. What you bought was actually just another 15 HP carburetor and not a 20 HP carburetor. All 20 HP carburetors have an electric choke, so they are not compatible since Hidea went with the older Yamaha style manual choke. To upgrade to 20 Hp the carburetor will need to have the 15 HP jets replaced with the 20 HP jets.
@@King-Frosch. did you check eBay or AliExpress? Just a quick search on UK ebay I saw a used set without the spring for very Little. I am trying to find someone or a dealership with a Yamaha instock so I can look at the prime start system to see where it plugs in to see about using the Yamaha style carburetor.
