Great vid as usual, just be careful of church water, it’s not always safe! I had some horrible feverish nights in supposedly safe countries. Your food stops will usually happily fill up your bottles

In France, you will always find drinkable water in graveyards. Yes it's not as nice as a church but that's what many french travellers (bike, walk, ...) do

Quick tip as a frenchmen, you should Always find water close to any graveyard (cemetary?) In France. water is used by people for their flowers !

Yup same in Italy, although here, especially in the north or anywhere close to the Alps or Pennines, basically all parks and main town squares also have a free fountain.

Unfortunately,here in Japan many roads are quite small what makes some drivers" push "the ciclysts near to the sidewalks.

Gotta ride in the middle of the road so they can only overtake when the other lane is free. That's better for everyone's safety.
@@falsemcnuggethope yes,i agree but the japanese traffic law for bicycles says to keep on the left , ride in the middle isn't a option for us.
So sometimes, the only safe way to ride is with the pedestrian on the sidewalk...

In most catholic places churches are a good bet for water. Same in Austria, Wallis and so on.
Not so much in reformed regions in my experience. I am not religious or anything, just my experience regarding water. Those church fountains are really nice. And you don't have to buy water in plastic bottles.

Frenche here. For the noise around 3:10 ? Given you were in a river lane, it's likely there were hunters not too far and what you heard was them shooting at something.
