I'm especially glad that Ben + the robot persevered. Finding your limits & then overcoming them is inspiring. "110%" is a myth; _you set a new standard, a new 100%_
@@DereinzigwahreAkede theoretically & semantically - but that proves my point about the fallacy of our self-limitation. As long as we don't accept faux standards we can continue to improve. (Edit: to clarify & further agree, the notion of "100%" is valid as a historical observation, not a real-time limitation. The whole metric is a psychological trap.)
The emotions, humility and honesty shown throughout this short series has been nothing short of incredible. All three of you have put it all out there to show that even when it seems you have it all, we all go through the motions on tough rides. Some days are better than others but you guys have really trudged through the shit and got another amazing trip under your belts. Well done and keep pushing!
When Ben broke down at the bottom of the climb I really felt for him. Glad you completed your journey. Enjoy the break and look forward to more videos from the 3 of yous.
This cycling vlog series and its characters has been absolutely bonkers, courageous, daring, entertaining, funny, grand, heartwarming, inspiring, jovial, kooky, labile, majestic, nuanced, operatic, persuasive, quaffable, rakish, sincere, tiptop, ultraslick, victorious, wonderful, and xtra zen. Enjoy your rest.
Enjoyed every minute of this series. And considering it's been shot on the move and edited on the fly, the end product is no detriment to that. Well done all three of you.
Well done Ben!!! Proud of you mate, we've watched Chris and Francis do all sorts of looney rides, this was your first big one with them and it was fantastic having you along. Congratulations to everyone, what a blast it was to watch ❤️
I want to talk like Francis, look like Chris and be swag like Ben - well done guys, I’m getting my brother a bike packing present for our next ‘epic gravel ride’
I've been watching you for many many years ... probably started when you had about 100 videos. Point is, your bike packing videos are by far your best work ... I think this is the most I've laughed during your videos. Great work to the entire team of 4 ... robots have feelings too 🤣
Well done to a Ben for finding the inner strength to get up the final climb and forthe support you have given each other through the journey. Shows what cycling with friends is all about. Disappointed Chris didn’t go for the full ‘Dick Strawbridge’ moustache but on a long ride all the marginal aero gains matter! Chapeau gentlemen.
100% my favorite cycling series on the internet. It's inspired me to continue what I thought was just going to be a bit of exercise last October into something that I want to do for the rest of my life, something I can aspire to apart from work and family milestones. Thanks for bringing us along Francis, Chris, and Ben!
Being a relatively new cyclist in the states... I envy you guys. I can't find anyone willing to do a group ride over 30 miles and you three make this epic ride look so fun. (*and the fact we don't have the mass transport like you guys do in Europe with your trains and ferries that can accomodate bike packers.) I'm here for this content. So good and funny and inspiring and joyful. Thanks for taking us along.
Unbelievable series and honestly, every single day this week I got home and watched these. The trials, tribulations and humility is what did it for me. Ben being emotional about a huge climb is how i feel on every climb ever! Great job to everyone!
Francis, thanks for taking us all along with you on your cycling adventures around the world. Adding Chris, Ben and Mr Robot to this adventure was extra special along with all the funny things you guys think up while putting in all the miles. You always leave us wanting more, cheers !!!
Genuinely looked forward to watching this each day. It was like top gear on bikes without the wankers. Special shout to Ben for your first proper bike packing trip that’s some achievement 🙌🏻
Ben and Robo are no longer virgins as they have now entered the world of lunacy on a bike. Fantastic videos chaps and hats off to Chris, Ben and Francis for keeping us mere mortals entertained. Once you have laughed out loudly during a turbo lactate session there is no going back for me! Awesome job chaps. Now have a couple of beers!
You’ve nailed the ‘talking to the camera whilst riding’ shot 👌🏼 This week was inspirational, you MUST do this again. Touring is ok but there is definitely something about a journey to a destination that makes it special. Truly fun and enjoyable and informative
That moment where Ben breaks down is truly a tough moment and having been there before it's a real tough one but major props to the perseverance him (and his robot 😂) showed. This journey has been amazing to watch and I look forward to seeing much more in the future 💪
Just an awesome series, fantastic content/editing! Huge congrats to Ben for making it to the end and to Francis and Chris for supporting him all the way! Also, never apologise for crying Ben, I suspect you've inspired more people than you know on this trip!
An amazing way to finish (at least the touring bit) of the trip, and a nice touch to finish on the Mr Roboto. I shuddered thinking about poor Ben carrying that toy the whole way, and I feel now that Ben will never want to let it go. Chapeau to all of you, amazing bunch of people, and so happy to have been able to follow you the whole way.
I love the fact that the robot has made it all of the way too! The temptation for Ben to ‘lose’, leave behind or secure him not quite well enough must have been very difficult to not give into! Great series gents.
no need to say sorry Ben....happens to all of us...great vlog of the ride, masterful editing, entertaining and honest...with the usual sprinkling of silliness to keep it real. well done all of you.
What can I say that hasn't been said already in the coments, you guys just smashed it! It was so entertaining and cool and interesting seeing you all these days riding and doing what we all want to do some day. Love you all
Nice one guys! Thanks for the laughs, the floaty toy around Chris up that final climb was absolutely hilarious! Way to support each other and finish your fun journey to Sun God HQ!
Well done lads. The best bit for me today was seeing you guys finish and feeling the vibes and hearing how hard it was for Ben. Fair feckin play to you for sticking at it 👏 Funny bit today francis watching chris blowing up the ring which was barely inflated "probably two more"
You set a new trend for backpacking...buying gifts for your mates and figuring ways to pack it (or wear it) along the trip. Great series. Enjoyed each segment.
Thank you for showing us the true meaning of perseverance. You guys showed me never give up 💪🏻. Thank you for boosting mine and everyone’s mental health. Bless all of you guys. Cheers from Brooklyn, NY.
We have NEW wolf in pack. Welcome in Ben ❤️🌹. It was awsome Franciiii & Chris. We are waiting for another project with all WOLFS PACK. Big love and support 👍🏼👍🏼
Well done Lads! Not only did you achieve something you can be proud of but you created some great content and entertained so many people across the world in the process. I would love to see you three doing more adventures in the future. Longer trips, Bigger gifts and please please please make sure Ben brings his sweeping brush again.
Fair play chaps, what an awesome road trip and series of videos! You have really brightened up the last week for me so thank you. And I think you’ve found Chris’s next challenge, some sort of crazy multiple Everesting or trenching challenge wearing a massive rubber ring!
Class from start to end, the look on Ben's face when you pointed out where Verbier/ Mordor was, look forward to all your vids but this has been the best. Well done to you all
Just what I needed today. Chris with that rubber ring genuinely had me burst into laughter. It’s been great to watch this adventure. Enjoy the rest now 😃
Nicely done! Massive kudos to all of you! 👊🏾👏🏾 This was like a combination of the Discovery channel, Comedy Central, Netflix, and the Hallmark channel all in one...but way better! Thank you for sharing! 👍🏾
Chapeau gentlemen 👏. Brilliant adventure and the three of you have been so great to watch…Chris is right the best part of any trip like that is the company!
I am somewhat in awe of what you guys have done on this trip, to have seen some of the highs and lows on what was an incredibly demanding route & schedule. Apart from the fatigue in the legs it's almost as if us viewers have been there with you. Can't wait for the next one!!
Chris has such a good sense of humor to ride with that last bit with the donut around him, you guys killed this trip! looking forward to the next one (maybe the ride back to Newcastle?)
Well done lads on your adventure together. It looks like the banter , fun and tears shared together will live with you all for a very long time. You set out on your mission about the same time I came down (and have been pretty ill ) with Covid so I have been looking forward to your daily posts to keep me going whilst missing going outside riding myself.!! Hopefully you all get the next few days to chill.
Well done as always … these trips you take us on are truly life experiences that we get as well without all the pain 😉 Hope Ben decides to ride more with you as he was a great addition … I knew he was more than a cycling model !!!
Fantastic video series. Great editing - I honestly don't understand how you pulled it off with such time constraints. Superb rides every day and big props to Ben & Chris for being so entertaining. This one is definitely up there with USA & Vietnam.
Great job everyone and honestly it's great of you to show the wobbles that come with a long trip just as much as the good times. Really reinforces that it's a journey in every sense. Really enjoying this series!
Thanks to the UA-cam AI, I've followed your trip, and enjoyed your efforts. You have inspired me to dust off the bike in the shed. After 30 years of no exercise, I'm only aiming for the end of the road...720m away (thanks Komoot). Congratulations and enjoy Verbiere.
Great series can't wait yo see more trips like this. Love the fun and banter. Just finished cycling the Hebridean Way with three m8s at 60 years young going on 16! Great to get away with the boys 🤣😂🤣👍
I'm especially glad that Ben + the robot persevered. Finding your limits & then overcoming them is inspiring. "110%" is a myth; _you set a new standard, a new 100%_
but at first you have to go to 110% of your last known maximum ;) if you reached it it will become your 100%

Ben seems like the most chill and humble guy ever. So happy the entire team got to finish together. Well done gents

Pleasure riding with you all on the last day, and witnessing the relief after a tough ride all the way from the UK! Enjoy the vlogs as always.
Enjoyed every minute of this series. And considering it's been shot on the move and edited on the fly, the end product is no detriment to that. Well done all three of you.

This series was bloody superb, looks like you’ve had a great trip and as Chris said It is the people that made it great

Chris with the pool donut is the best thing talking about draft 😅
I can't wait for the way back!
Ben packing nitrous shows he's on a whole other level. 😂

Absolutely class set of videos documenting true arm control
Best cycling Vlog series I’ve watched! Very motivating and I don’t think a day went buy where I didn’t laugh as if I was a part of the ride 😂
Great job everyone and honestly it's great of you to show the wobbles that come with a long trip just as much as the good times. Really reinforces that it's a journey in every sense. Really enjoying this series!

Such a fun series of videos! Great job all around. And RIP little dino. But glad to see the blue robot with the R2D2 sound package survived.
