I understanding him completely. I also suffer from insomnia. In my case I sleep well 90% of the time but whenever I have a big event, I cant fall sleep :/. I do not know if it is the anxiety of the event or what but it sucks big time.
Just brilliant. What a show. Maybe make them a bit longer...they are just so easy to watch.

Three men on bikes... 41 degrees! (I've been in India pre-monsoon when it was 41 degrees)... arriving at a destination when the kitchens are shut... riding backwards!!!!!! Loving all this.
Last week I binged all the "old" SF vids and it was really nice and now I'm watching these in almost real time which is awesome! Love the vibes!

That looks so hot and uncomfortable. I've turned up at a hotel before on a cycle tour to find no food or local restaurants open.... It's soul crushing. Hope temp reduces for tomorrow.
I find wearing lighter colours helps a bit as obviously darker colours attract the heat. The heat reminds me of Perth WA, crazy heat 8-10 weeks of the year. Every day 40c plus 37c before 9am and be lucky to be under 38c at 8pm.

I got all sorts of colors yesterday from that heat. I'm brown in my face and on my knees. My arms are red and my lower legs are still white. Maybe I need to ride a recumbent but then I become half an Oreo. Brown in the front and white in the back lol

yup. went on a rather scenic and flat 130km Tour the day before yesterday and that dry heat simply hammers you down, when you finally get off. Took me an hour of laying flat on my back with the shades down and staring into the void, before i could eat. So today and yesterday it was and is lake-time, but in spirit i am with you guys ^^
Also, i am not entirely sure that kind catering lady was too thrilled about that sweaty hug from a total stranger in spandex.

How do you deal with the clothes for such a long ride? Can't imagine it drying fully from evening to morning on less hot days.

Buy rice or some pasta in store, meatballs prepped meal and if you have cooking utensils in your hostel you are golden.

As Ive seen on Strava you guys went through Charleroi, that's indeed one of the ugliest cities in the world...
Ok, this is UA-cam. This should entertain people.
But I wonder if everybody treats expensive equipment like this, e.g. riding the bike while sitting on the top tube or putting heavy TVs on the rack. Nice that nothing breaks but it might end in a different way.

@@Cade_Media Well you guys are definitely younger and fitter than me. It's just the guy with the robot on his bike (I forgot his name) seem a little stretched out and uncomfortable. And you are all in very aggressive positions. Is that really a great idea with 8 hour days, 8 day in a row or what ever? With heat and luggage and everything. I'm guessing you don't have masseurs and cooks and mechanics like the pro's either? I mean just take care of your self, no need to destroy yourself for good content, which it is btw :)
