it seems like she works hard to keep herself fit, but celebrating that she is thin is exactly what the diet industry wants our attitudes to be - it makes more money that way! it’s more important to be mentally healthy, considerate, kind, genuine and secure than to look “good”. all bodies are good bodies, including yours!
I agree. I love Maddie but her body type is WORLDS different from mine lol. But she promotes healthy lifestyle altogether so just because her body is not like mine doesn't deter me nor make me want to look like that, I just love how she eats!
K Bri I think she promotes health and happiness. She has said before that she is naturally thin. I don't see anything wrong with her celebrating her body just like anybody else. :)

I would recommend using the Insight Timer app for meditation! They have a timer that you can use with gongs as the "alarm" or they also have guided meditations!

That protein powder is about $2 a serving. That’s an lot of money for a powder that, while may be a clean good choice, doesn’t offer a lot for that price. I wish they didn’t have it priced so high.

You should get the book "Zen Mind, Beginner's Mind" by Suzuki Roshi. It's great for teaching the correct posture, breathing, and overall learning how to meditate according to the zen tradition. You need a stable posture to help the mind be steady too-that means three points of contact with the ground! You will find you last much longer that way 😊 Much love!

I love your recipes and make them on a regular basis. Also, I'm a physician and I find your dietary approach very much in line with what I recommend for my patients to prevent stroke and heart attack - not to mention all the other benefits. Baked oatmeal sounds so good, Maddie! Just a piece of info: Unfortunately if you contact Haagen-Dazs they will tell you that they use bone char to make their ice cream. I read this in a vegan facebook group (The Vegan View) where someone took a screenshot of their chat with a representative. Just FYI for anyone who wants to know :)

You should try doing yoga/stretching/weights/ etc. BEFORE your meditation! Moving old stagnant energy out of the body beforehand will ground you and pull you out of your head into your body so your mind isn't so busy ;)

for meditation I would recommend you place your hand on your chest or your ribs wherever you feel you breath more and for me it’s easier to start focusing on my breath and then I just meditate!! good luck with your mornin routine 🌞
