Well if this isn’t the most fun ever?!!!!! You are so creative and hilarious!!! I think this could be a series …breakfast in bed, dessert in the tub, bread in your dresser, etc. The crazy possibilities are endless! It would also make a great coffee table book! Go for it! Many thanks! Happy breakfasting …and creating! Kathleen ❤
I love the idea of a breakfast series in miniature. I'm working on the Willy Wonka Master bedroom now and so I feel like I'll I can think of is miniature food and sweets! lol
This project reminds me of the childhood book “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs”. Fun idea! I love French toast or pancakes and fruit for breakfast. Have a great weekend!
@@WhitneyLaBrie It's SO good. It was one of my favorite books when I was growing up. The illustrations in the original are so wonderful and imaginative. Btw this build is adorable!
This is so great!!! Now you have to furnish the bedroom it's in!! Sausage couch with fried egg pillows, stacked French toast dresser, hash browns bedside table, and Maple Syrup bottle lamp! 😂❤
lol....when I saw the picture my mom sent I felt the same and it became a must have bed..now where to put it? I have to make an entire breakfast room now just for this bed!
@@WhitneyLaBrie maybe a literal bed and breakfast miniature 🥓🏨 like if you made a lobby the couches could be bread loafes the coffee tables could be a cup of coffee lol , a large area rug could be a pancake, a coffee table could be french toast, light fixtures could be milk cartons, the front desk could be a stack muffins... lol 😆
Omgosh 😂😍 This is so awesome. I love breakfast foods, especially for dinner. This bed is off the chain girlfriend. That putty is good stuff, the pancakes look real fluffy...😂 Love it.! I can just smell the 🥓 🥓 ❤🥰
oooh I agree about breakfast for dinner! I can't remember the last time I did that..maybe I need todo that tonight! I'm really happy with the foam putty , it will for sure be a part of my go tool products moving forward.
My go to breakfast goes by many names Egg in a Basket, Egg in a Nest, etc. but we call it Toad in the Hole. Basically a slice of bread with a hole cut or torn in the center, and fried with an egg cracked into the hole. We also fry the piece of bread that was removed and serve it on top like a hat. My usual go to breakfast is 1 Toad in the Hole, 2 sausage links, and ½ grapefruit and tea. I eat this most mornings. When I don't eat that I eat protine waffles with butter and a light drizzle of honey, 2 sausage links, ½ grapefruit and tea. The waffels are SO simple it's just 2 eggs and 2 Tbsp of peanut butter. I use a stick blender to mix them together so they get THOROUGHLY incorporated. Then ise the batter like usual in a regular waffle iron. The waffles (without any toppings) have 346 calories and only 9 carbs, so they're great for anyone with diabetes, gluten intolerance, Celiac disease, milk allergies, or who are watching their weight..... and they taste great and have a very similar texture to regular waffles. The peanut butter is not as strong as you would think it would be, so you CAN double the peanut butter for more flavor if you like, it still works fine.
I never thought of pancakes and bacon as a miniature bed before. Fun project! I'm more of a green smoothie in the morning person. Yes, there is a piece that I would love to have in my miniature home and that is a harpsicord. I saw one at a miniature show and thought I would like that when it comes down in price.
oh wow a harpsichord! What a neat piece to add to your collection. Well now that I have this bed, I of course will eventually have to have a full bedroom set to go with it! oooh a green smoothie, I do like a smoothie, sometimes I'll have that for lunch or dinner if the hubby is working late, no need to make a full dinner for just me...plus less dishes..total bonus!
This bed design is flipping EPIC! Who wouldn't want to nestle down in a stack of pancakes for bacon and syrup filled dreams? Your Mum is a legend for sending you the inspo pic!. I live in New Zealand and its pretty normal to do the typical boring toast or cereal or porridge for breakfast, but on Sunday mornings my hubby and I make a full cooked breakfast which is our version of the "full English". Toast, eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, black pudding (plus white pudding too for hubby), grilled mushrooms, and maybe a grilled sausage too. After all that I don't need to eat again until the evening lol Next time you need a specific patterned fabric, IF you have an inkjet printer, see if you can buy some iron on transfer paper. You can print your own design direct on to the transfer paper and then iron it on to the plain fabric. (A tip I learned a bunch of years ago from a quilting TV show!). In the long run it would work out way cheaper than buying a crazy expensive tiny swatch of fabric, but of course the tip is only useful if you have an inkjet printer lol
I am so grateful for the inkjet printer idea! I've heard of people printing their fabrics and it didn't even cross my mind...thank you for reminding me of that. I love your Full English breakfast, I'm totally on board. When I was in England I had my first black pudding experience and I enjoyed it, my mom who was actually born there (but has been in the states since she was about 10) snubbed her nose at it, I was rolling because my whole life she has told me that everything in England was superior and here she was refusing to eat as I called it "the food of her people!" Even she had to laugh.
This is heckin' cute. I'd love to make a miniature diorama of Mrs. Brisby's home from The Secret of NIMH. I've just never been able to figure out how she managed to build an entire home inside a cinder block lol.
I used to bug my poor mother to death with wanting my bedding to be fun stuff like this but it didn’t go well with my great grandmother’s antique furniture my mom had in my room 😂 I might need one in miniature as well since I’m still such a child. ❤ xx
I would have loved this as a child too, which is probably why I felt so compelled to make one and why my mom sent it to me in the first place! lol we are alike!
oh the possibilities are endless! So many other cool things can be done with this, I just went by the picture but really you could go crazy with all the fun additions that could be done here!
You’re killing me😂 guess what I’m having for dinner? 🥞🥓 This little bed is so ridiculously cute! And yeah, I also thought the foam putty looked like frosting.
see we are on the same page here again! Loving things that look like food has been a life long obsession. I have no idea why, its like, do you want a regular telephone, or would you prefer one that looks like a hamburger..obviously a hamburger! Or do you want a purse that looks like a purse or would you prefer a purse that looks like a bucket of popcorn..you know the answer...it makes perfect sense that I would at some point make mini furniture that looks like food too!

Such a fun project Whitney! If I were to make a fun dream miniature bed it would have to be a whimsical treehouse inspired bed. I tend to make a lot of things with trees so that may be an obvious choice 😂.
I can totally see that with you and your creations! Makes perfect sense and I could envision you in your tree house bed like Avatar or something like that!
lmao! I have felt that same way about so many things! I refused to get into polymer clay for a really long time because I knew that it would open a can of worms and I would have to buy all sorts of things to go with it, well I finally caved in and yes my concerns came true!
Every Sunday we have an us moment with boiled egg on break and a vanille late machiato. You would expect brown bread with cheese since I am from the Netherlands. Or peanutbutter.
Love this, it’s such a fun project. Small missed opportunity of having a rectangular yellow “pat of butter” pillow to break up the 3 bacon pancakes. As a Canadian, I’d have to add a “throw blanket” of maple syrup! I’m thinking a silky-satiny golden amber fabric for it. 😆 Can’t have pancakes without the real maple stuff.
oh yes there are so many things that one could do with a design like this, I was just sticking to the picture but the possibilities are endless! Your ideas are fabulous!
Oh yeah the western omelet, I don't always see those on the menu out here in CA but in TX where I am from it's a staple! I love breakfast for dinner too, it always feels like a treat!
Oh Kevin, tell me about it! I don't eat pancakes often but these two videos back to back were too much for me to take! I had to eat some drizzled with syrup and butter.
I love this bed!.. With a fork that large though, I would be worried about the giant it belongs to eating my 'edible bed' while I was still in it. 🤣 I'm lazy so my go to breakfast is PBJ on toast. But I do love me some pancakes with fruit and real maple syrup on top paired with a side of hash-browns and scrambled eggs. Yumm... Thanks for sharing!
