“Painting the box with the most boring brown I own” cracked me up! You do nothing boring! This is such a cute project. So much detail. I love the bread and bread knife. ❤
Thank you! That's why I love doing little things like adding ash and coals to the hearth. It makes it seem like it's actually a space someone uses and not just a display.
The bread and stew look insanely good! I love the whole thing, but those were the 2 things that I thought "How the heck did she do that?!?" in the opening moments of the video.
Thank you! I appreciate that 😊 I'm really excited for my new upcoming projects (French boutique, Tudor dollhouse tavern & living quarters, & the Gryffindor Common Room)
I’m excited and inspired! Rustic kitchens are my favorite miniatures and everything about this one is wonderful. I’ve had that same stove kit waiting for me in the workroom for a few weeks. I am feeling the mood to go put it together now! Thank you!
That's awesome! I love Chrysnbon kits. They're so perfectly to scale and realistic. This stove worked perfectly for this project since it's so lightweight. I hung this easily on my wall.
The cardboard room box is wonderful! I was reminded of a documentary made by the BBC about a Victorian Farm. The details are so intricate, and it looks as though one could walk into the room, and smell the stew! You are a wizard with miniatures! TFS! ~Janet in Canada
17:26 BEAUTIFUL!! ❤ Ive watched the process of this box since you started it a few months ago! Every tiny detail you add increases the realism value exponentially!! I like what you said about making mistakes during the creative process and I couldn't agree more! I've learned the most from making mistakes, more than i would have doing things "perfectly". Thank you for another wonderful premier!!
Thank you so much! I totally agree! It's fun when we have an idea of how something will turn out, and then it meets our expectations, but that doesn't always happen. I have also learned a lot from mistakes and have had happy accidents.
I absolutely loved the whole video, but my favorite plant was the last one in the rock bead. I also make 1:12 scale miniatures. I tend to start something, then I change course and end up with someth8ng I really like. You taught me that it's not necessary to be perfect. You fly through projects by the seat of your pants, you throw perfection out the door, and you end up with really effective pieces. I am going to try to have more fun with it. When aging your furniture, etc. is very interesting, unconventional, and I am going to try your methods. THANKS FOR SHARING!
Thank you so much! I used to get preoccupied trying to make things look more perfect but Little Gretchen's Workshop on UA-cam helped me chill out. Her miniatures look great and she doesn't obsess over anything.

Wow, that is marvelous! All the little details you've put in the tiny room, brings it to life. I would probably get a piece of glass to put in the frame. Some hardware stores will cut glass it to the needed dimensions for you. I don't like to dust and have cats. I definitely would not like to dust you little room box.
I thought of protecting it from dust, but I think it would add to the effect, since it's a rustic old kitchen. I'll make more of these cardboard room boxes and will possibly cover up some of them. Thank you!
These lives are awesome. The chat is mostly people saying hello. Then we all sit and watch the video, listening carefully so we don't miss anything. Well, that's what I do. 😂
I absolutely love everything about this room. Every little detail is amazing, but I especially like the cutting board with the bread and knife, I think....it's kind of hard to say because it's all amazing.
I've always loved dollhouses but I thought I couldn't do it because I don't have space for a big dollhouse. So knowing I can do individual rooms is so thrilling!! Great video!
5he details you add are fantastic! I would have never thought of putting the ash around the coal bucket. That's what puts your miniatures a step above others,
I’m blown away by your attention to detail. Thanks also for sharing your mistakes and reminding us it’s part of the process. I think your art is the best on UA-cam. We’ll done!
I love this room box so much!❤ I can not wait to make knives..I absolutely love how you made that knife. The bread looks great even tho it didn't come out as planned..still an amazing lil miniature. The stove looks soooo good with all that detail..I love everything about this piece, especially that lil bear trap!! I'm gonna have to revisit that vid for the farm. That boring brown paint looked like wood at first ..I thought you actually covered the sides with wood as well, turned out great!🥰 I am almost done with the editing of the sewing machine ..I do go into further detail on how I use the wax and some other possibilities and pieces. It does act like acrylic but feels and dries differently. And washable just like acrylic. I hope after my video it will give you a better understanding and some new techniques to try..😊

You are such an inspiration, I love the way you experiment to find different ways to achieve a realistic look, it's fascinating to watch. I'm going to enjoy catching up on all the videos in this series, thank you for sharing your process and all the tips and ideas :)
I love what you said about making mistakes. Working with miniatures I’ve made many. You are nothing less than incredible!!! The room was so realistic! Thank you sharing!!
That turned out amazing. I am so happy I found your videos. I have learned so many tips and techniques from you. Thank you for taking the time to teach us how you do your work.
Wow, thank you! I appreciate that. I love turning everyday items into miniatures. I have a bunch of hoarded trash and plastic bc of that. Everything could be a mini someday 😄
Unbelievably realistic bread! Your attention to detail really paid off. Brilliant move to steal a piece of serrated edge from your foil! 👏👏👏This room really turned out cozy! 😍✨
Wow, I’m new to the world of miniatures and dolls houses and I’m watching videos to learn as much as I can before I dive in .. and I’m gobsmacked by your attention to detail, which makes everything look so convincing. Thank you for your videos, I’m so glad I found you
I love this. I have really enjoyed the process and watching the layering of items that you have done over time. They say the secret to creating great art (and this is art) is knowing when to stop. You have proven, especially with this piece, that you know just that. I could stare at this for hours imagining all manner of scenarios and immersing myself into them. Thank you
They are SO cute! I was on my hands and knees picking them out of dried seafood that washed up on the shore. I was obsessively finding the tiniest shells available. I should've chosen bigger ones, so they could be seen more easily 😆 I only had a couple that were bigger than 1/8".
I love it! It is very inspiring! I think the bread knife is my fave - especially because you couldn't be bothered to wait until all of your foil had been used before "borrowing" the serrated edge from the box! It's the perfect piece. I would absolutely have done the same, even if it required buying a whole new box of foil! I always feel a sense of empowerment from your examples of resourcefulness! Thanks!
Thank you so much :) the funny part is I saved a serrated edge from foil from a box that had been used up. But I've saved so many random pieces of trash, I couldn't find it! So I had to borrow a piece from the foil in the drawer.
Your sense of detail is outstanding and the ability to see how something can be repurposed to become something else is nothing short of genius. Many thanks for sharing your talent. :o)
Watching you work is truly inspiring. I love how you transformed that stove with silver, amongst other things. Love how your artistic mind works! Thank you for posting all of these videos!
The bread looks great, just like sourdough! And the completed project is wonderful, so much detail. Your work is beautiful and inspiring! And the knife was so clever!
Neuvěřitelné jaký máte smysl pro drobné miniaturní věci! Jen zírám! Musíte mít na to dobré oči všechny tyto mini věcičky perfektně videt a doladovat. Jste talent a velice precizní! Děkuji za užasnou podívanou!

It’s more like just regular art and less like a toy or something And as always I’m obsessed with the ages grungy-ness. That stew doesn’t look too flat btw it’s perfect.
J'ai réalisé une maison de poupées que j'ai posée sur une table roulante. Pour m'amuser avec mes personnages, je m'assois sur une chaise sur le devant et je vous assure que c'est très confortable.
Oh Shyra I LOVE THIS SO MUCH! I was taking so many notes on the finishing touches and the polymer clay bread technique (never seen that one before, definitely going to give it a try). I learned a lot just watching this, you would be an awesome teacher if you ever wanted to hold miniature classes
Good morning from Massachusetts! I was so excited when I saw you got all those kits from Temu! I am currently working on one from Amazon, no one does tutorials for them that talk. They all play annoying music and no one says anything. So I'm eagerly awaiting your video!! 🎉🎉🎉❤🎉🎉 lol Please talk, also I love your hints and tricks. I have one called "Relaxing time" which is kind of a 2 floor studio type thing, a tiny bit ambitious for a first time builder lol. I searched all over youtube to find someone to watch make them. Nope all music no help. 😊 I love your videos I think you are amazing at what you do, now hopefully you'll be doing one of those kits soon. Thank you for all your hard work! Also for speaking, that's a really great thing too. 😅
If you're in MA, I really hope you've visited Earth & Tree Miniatures in Amherst, NH. It's the BEST dollhouse store in the country! (IMHO) I will talk in the video, but not nearly as much as I do when I'm showing how to do one of my own projects. I'll mention custom touches and ideas, but I won't explain step-by-step how to assemble the kit. Most people who watch don't actually make miniatures. I want the video to be entertaining and not too technical.
I love it so much! All the perfect and clever little details are delightful. The knife, stew and bread were over the top. Sure do appreciate all the tips and inspiration. ❤
It looks amazing, I love all the little details that you have added. I often find when I'm making miniatures I'm not patient enough and usually miss out so must detail just to get it finished
“Painting the box with the most boring brown I own” cracked me up! You do nothing boring! This is such a cute project. So much detail. I love the bread and bread knife. ❤
Thank you! I got that paint for $1 discounted from $6. I had never used it so I was surprised it's cardboard box color lol
You are so talented. I just wish I had a crumb of your creativity. You are so much fun to watch
Thank you so much!
All of it. Just all of it. Beautiful work.
Thank you! I love seeing it hanging on my wall.
Good morning all from California
Morning 🎉 😊
Good morning! 🌞
My old stomping ground. 🙂
All I can say is, wow!!
Thank you so much :)
I love How every detail help to Tell the story, and there are so many details hahaha I can feel i am inside the miniature!
Thank you! I messed up on both of those, but they turned out fine. It's always important to remember making minis is fun.
You make beautiful and detailed miniatures. You think the bread was not good, but I think it is perfect. It looks like real bread.
Good enough to eat 😁
Your attention to derail.....magical, inspiring, astounding!
Thank you so much :)
Really inspirational I think I will treat myself and binge watch it from the start. Love it thank you.
Binge watching miniature videos on a Saturday morning is the best idea ever
❤ I just love your work and your snarky comments!
Hehe, thank you!
😊THIS WAS GREAT! KNIFE WAS GENIUS! STOVE TOP WITH SEA FOOD STEW Was WONDERFUL!!!❤ I LOVE THIS!!!!
Thank you so much, Little Gretchen! The knife is my favorite part. It took a couple mins to make!
Gorgeous result. A very Norman Rockwell kind of scene that will evoke memories of country living.
I love Norman Rockwell! I think I subconsciously created this in his style 😉
This room box is fantastic. It is full of personality and charm. Your eye for detail is amazing!
Thank you! The details are my favorite part. I could keep going and going. I kept trying to squeeze more items in and had to stop myself.
@@queencityminis It's all of the tiny things you add that bring your rooms to life. I so enjoy watching you create.❤️🩷
Now…I thought I did a good job collecting tiny shells, little tiny cockle shells…but those tiny mussel shells are brilliant! So cute! 😮
They're too tiny! So funny since I tried so hard to find the tiniest ones. They're hard to see.
@@queencityminis I’ve got visions of you on the sand crawling around with a magnifying glass or binoculars 😂😂😂😂

This build turned out amazing, as always.
Ugh, now I want bread and stew 😆
I looked for the baking powder technique video and can't find it in the description 😮. This came out SO GOOD!!!!! Love all the things!
You're right! I forgot to link it. Thank you for letting me know.
No problem! I found her most recent video but got her name wrong as Simply Stellar at first 😅.

Wow 😲 amazing. I make miniatures but mine are made from items from nature and a few tiny bottles and recycled items. But this is amazing!
That sounds so nice!
I could listen to you for days.

Isn't that just the way bread does, crumbling and breaking when you don't want it to!! Love the stew, and the tiny seashells! It's all so quaint! ❤

It looks absolutely FANTASTIC!!! I love how the bread and the stew came out, in particular. The real shells are a terrific touch!
Thank you! I'll be looking for more, slightly larger shells this summer.

your attention to detail is brilliant where did all the ideas come from it makes a lovely gift........ thanks debbie from uk xxxxx
Thanks so much 😊 Mostly, ideas come to me as I'm crafting. I can't think of much before I start working.
Good morning from Massachusetts! I was so excited when I saw you got all those kits from Temu!
I am currently working on one from Amazon, no one does tutorials for them that talk. They all play annoying music and no one says anything. So I'm eagerly awaiting your video!! 🎉🎉🎉❤🎉🎉 lol
Please talk, also I love your hints and tricks. I have one called "Relaxing time" which is kind of a 2 floor studio type thing, a tiny bit ambitious for a first time builder lol.
I searched all over youtube to find someone to watch make them. Nope all music no help. 😊
I love your videos I think you are amazing at what you do, now hopefully you'll be doing one of those kits soon. Thank you for all your hard work! Also for speaking, that's a really great thing too. 😅
If you're in MA, I really hope you've visited Earth & Tree Miniatures in Amherst, NH. It's the BEST dollhouse store in the country! (IMHO)
I will talk in the video, but not nearly as much as I do when I'm showing how to do one of my own projects.
I appreciate that 😸
I liked your box and everything in it
Thank you ☺️
It looks amazing, I love all the little details that you have added. I often find when I'm making miniatures I'm not patient enough and usually miss out so must detail just to get it finished
Enjoy the process ✌️
Thanks, this is wonderful! Have a blessed day! 💖✝
Thank you! You too!
