The hearts with hooks are dollhouse miniatures meant to hold kitchen utensils. They look like the German Bodo Hennig kitchen utensil holder, which is also heart-shaped with a rope edge. Those may be imitation pieces though bc there are cheap imitations. The real Bodo Hennig hearts are shinier, and the heart shape is slightly different (not as wide). This is an incredible collection! I'd love to see you decorate a hutch with some of the decor pieces or maybe make a room box 😉
Oh thank you for that info, I part of me thought they may have been Brighton pieces that someone used as miniatures...but as soon as you mentioned the B. Hennig... I was like "yep that's it!" but I think you are right about it being imitation. Last year I did a hutch, which I loved, this year I'm going to do something a little different. :)
I love all miniatures of course, but there is just something about tiny sweets that make my heart so happy! Isn't that "fur cape" aka "toilet cozy" so funny...I listed it on eBay as fur cape since the maker intended it for that but it really does look like a toilet rug. lol
So many accessories in that huge box! I plan to make an attic and a basement someday. I think you should list lots of really random things (like a single ice skate and mismatched pillows and broken things) to be used in attics, basements, closets, trunks, storage sheds etc.
Yes I think that's a great idea. I'm actually staring at a trunk right now...thinking I'm going to use that in a listing soon..perhaps now an "grandmas attic listing!"
I don't have any money, but I really want the captains hat and the barometer. want to make some kind of nautical thing to remember a dear friend who was into boats. I wish I had your decorating skills and eye. I can't even decorate a real house. But I still love the miniatures. All I have is a piece of scrapbook paper with anchors on it. My dad was into boats and sailing too, and fishing.
Oh that’s a lovely idea for a sweet gift. You seem to always be thinking of others! My dad has never been into outdoor activities. Sailing, and fishing are really great hobbies, he sounds like a knowledgable mama!
@@WhitneyLaBrie I seem to be full of ideas but not sure how to make them reality. They've both passed so it would be for me at this point. I am cursed with thinking about others, so much that I neglect my own needs. I am just happier when serving others. I don't know what's wrong with me.
