    I got a Mr clean duster for 5 bucks at big lots that is exactly like the wooly wormit. Been cleaning my rims and barrel for 2 years with it. Bought 3 more for backup

    You can also dry the wheels using a leaf blower...and if the wheels are waxed or coated it'll make the job even easier.

      all my brushes were custom made and fabricated by me, handles i bought at a local Grainger but you need to machine the ends to fit and its not something DIY can do.

    Man love that idea for the woolly wormit. Saw it before from Pan''s video and really disliked the idea of getting my hands wet and contact with the wheel cleaners and here you come with a great solution for it! +10likes

    Question...My American Force wheels on my truck have a few faint scratches from improper cleaning (bad detailer). What is the best way to polish the scratched out? My wheels are black.

      Grainger but they are not easy to fabricate yourself.

    Love the channel man! Just took all my rims off on my GT350 and cleaned the barrels. Love it! the wheels, brake calipers and rotors look outstanding!

      What kind of jack did you use to lift the car? I need to go around the car and pull and put back on one wheel at a time. I have heard the Quik Jack is a real failure.

    What tricks do you have for multi-piece wheels that have flares on the barrel and the joint that the spokes of the wheel bolt/weld to, that make accessing the whole barrel difficult?

      use the wheel woolie, get a heat gun and manipulate the arm to work for your rims, i do it all the time for my custom Forgeline 3 piece wheels on my pro touring Mustang

      thats easy i have fixed many customers cars using Spies Hecker 2K paint and my Iwata Airbrushes. next time i get to do one il shoot a video on this.

      because UA-cam is blocking content through their algorithm from a majority of creators on purpose to push their bias content and not pay creators. it is affecting even the largest channels and quite pathetic and biased which I am glad I only do this for fun and not my income like most. thanks for watching and enjoying the content

    What is the easiest and most efficient way to clean perforated leather seats??. I found a few videos but they all just really wipe clean seats. I would like a few tips on how to clean dirty/filthy seats with clogged holes, etc. Thanks!.

    Any tips for protecting a new set of powder coated wheels? I'm planning on getting a set of vorsteiner vff 107's for my summer wheels and having them powder coated. I'm in Washington and drive 600-700 miles a week in mixed traffic, so they'll see plenty of brake dust & road grime.

      you can apply a coating to the wheels from Gyeo or C quartz to help

      yes from my shop but it was a PITA to cast it to the brush because of the tang being so small but i made it work with some reengineering of the brush body

      @@autofanaticcars I do like the looks of the wormit. I'm a Design Engineer and have access to a 3d printer i could probably print out a handle. i sent you an email to your yahoo account, i printed a holder for my MTM foam cannon, thing is always falling over.....

      Six cylinder jeeplife Bruno he has multiple videos about that. Light dust: 4oz to 1 gal
      Medium dust: 8 oz to 1 gal
      Heavy dust: 12 oz to 1 gal

    if you dont want scratches use a bigboi mini blower or the pro version no more scratches and microfiber cloth needed :)

      i blow them dry for the most part it is the water that runs from the rotor vanes after your finished with the wash that ruins the wheels so you must give it time to drip then clean the barrels as i show if you blow dirty water your causing more of a mess on gloss black

      i like black cars but most OEM paint on black cars is horrible these days it depends how much of a "Fanatic" you are with this stuff.

      I have a black GT350 and my son has a Magnetic. The car looks great in either color. Mine underwent 6 hours of paint correction followed by Modesta coating. After three years it looks better than new.

    Thanks for the video. I just recently got a bunch of detailing products (almost got the woolie wormit). I too have black wheels that came on my Type R. They are sooo hard to keep clean. These tips should help. What do you protect the wheels with? I recently got some Wheel Guard Max Coat and Wheel Guard Wax from CG but am now thinking that won't repel the dust too well.

      i just use collinite 476 wax but i recently got some new stuff il be trying out for the channel when time permits

      @@autofanaticcars Does it help repel the dust? I have some ArmorAll Brake Repellent spray but I think it leaves a light blue colored residue on the wheels. It can easily be wiped off though. The spray did seem to help keep the dust from sticking.

      stay away from that Armor all stuff it ruined a set of wheels on me years back. the wax does help or you can try a ceramic coating or ceramic sealant

    I use one of the finger mitts from OG. I love my 5 spoke wheels, can get to the entire wheel with the finger mitt :)

    I just bought my BMW 430i and want to keep my wheels in prestine condition. I am interested in the woollywormit but prefer one with a handle. How do I either purchase one from you or how do I add one to my future woolly?

      Hi i made 30 of these a while back it is just too much fabrication work to keep doing them. you should pick up the brush and try it as it comes, adding a handle is not that easy

    Nylon brushes such as the speed master brush will scratch matte or gloss black wheels no doubt, and no one ever talks about it

    Great vid, I'm definitely getting one of the Wooly Wormit brushes. Anything that makes cleaning wheels easier for me is a no brainer, I hate cleaning wheels so the better I get at it and the easier it is the less I hate it!
    I already rinse with DI water and I can see me going down the route of blow drying too now I'm getting older, it just saves my poor old knees and shoulders 👍

    I pressure rinse my wheels with deionized water and blow them dry with Air Force blower: done.

    13 minutes of talking about brushes and not a single wheel was cleaned. a little montage or a 2 minute clip would have been good to break up the video a little.

    Them bristle brushes are very hard on black painted rims..
    light scratches everywhere

    Hey af my man wow i just received the 007 gloss spray holy shit my man you fucking nailed it my white jeep overland looks outstanding ive used bead maker,v07,gtechniqe and let me tell you nothing can evwn compare wow and the windows holy come out streak free same with my black polished wheels this shit is just a life saver man just thought id tell ya great product and thank u for making it!!!!

    Some like the speedmaster brush, but I too hate getting sprayed. But they are great in engine compartment!

      its a good brush but i just do not trust it on gloss black if you are as much as a "fanatic" as i am plus getting hit in the face and arms sucks using it.
