MAN DO I LOVE WATCHING YOUR VIDEOS!! I’m in CALIFORNIA HOWEVER MY MOTHER AS WELL AS MY WIFES MOM BOTH LIVE IN BRADENTON!! LITERALLY RIGHT ON THE MANATEE RIVER. THANKS FOR SHARING THESE VIDEOS YOU AND YOUR WIFE ROCK 💪🏾💪🏾💙💙✅
Man I’m glad to have this channel it brings me right back to my awesome childhood in Bradenton . Dolphins must like Peers btw there’s always one of two hanging out at the Naples peer . Everytime I go there lol
Florida looks so nice and green. Your lucky to be living there. California is always in a drought and I wonder how long it can keep going the way it is.
I remember the pier there at Manatee beach , it was never replaced. My wife lived near there in the late seventies. The metal detecting is awesome Jose, I use to do that also many years ago. Really like all the wildlife you saw.
Your video makes me want to come back now instead of later this year. Last month, we were in Venice at the beach, and ate at Sharky's. It quickly became one of my favorite restaurants to go to. If you've never been there, I HIGHLY recommend it. It's a beach-casual atmosphere with great food and great people. While we were there, I'd already started planning our trip back.
@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS it beats where I'm at (Illinois) any day of the week. Y'all have the breeze from the Gulf. All we have is humidity and heat. My grass in my yard is crunchy its so dry right now.
Ive lived in Fort Myers and Clearwater and New Port Richey and Bradenton. Bradenton is my favorite by far. The first time I spent a summer in Bradenton was 1982. I wish I would have never left. It was magical back then. The fishing was unbelievable .
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS I visit all the time! I ride a Moxi Scooter and I put a note that my scooter identifies as a Golf Cart and its pronoun is Golf Cart yep for real lol.
I have lived all over and fished all over, but nothing compares to fishing in the little manatee river. It is a very diverse array of creatures. Throw a cast net out and you will see some crazy stuff come up. We would often see manatees, alligator, gars, alligators, many different species of turtles and snakes, schools of mullet, crabs, and a ton of other fish species. It was pretty cool I highly recommend fishing the Manatee River
Last time I watched your videos you left Florida and moved to Alabama. Bradenton is a wealthy area to live in. Done some contracting work there in the past.
welcome back Patrick. Alabama was a nightmare, they are very hateful of outsiders to say the least. moved to Fort Myers than after IAN we came here and its been amazing. Katie is now a realtor too. its been a crazy ride, but we have made the best of it.
The beaches are much more beautiful in that area than the beaches here in South Florida, Deerfield beach is beautiful, I love beaches with white sand and the most crystal clear water possible, the beaches on the east coast are not like that like there, I need to go see the West Coast, but I think I'm going to fall in love with that area Sarasota and where you are. I can’t afford a rent there 😭 sad, sad, sad.
we have done many videos in Venice, and if you want i go try n go back this week. its just south of our metro area. remember Katie my wife is a realtor if your gonna buy. if your gonna rent and need advise on areas reach out too
1. Pizzano's Pizza on anna maria island sells big red soda. And big red is most popular in Kentucky not Texas. 2. Nothing in Texas is as scenic as our beaches, the Florida everglades and the Florida keys.
The cons of living in Texas: 1. Big Red soda is sold everywhere, sorry, lol. 2. ♿️ will freeze you to death in the winter, even tho Texas is an energy state. 3. The police are too scared to go into a school with an active shooter, ask Uvalde
I remember the pier at the Manatee beach ,it was never replaced. My wife lived in Bradenton in the late seventies and would visit that beach and food stand often. The metal detecting is awesome Jose,I did that also many years ago. Really enjoyed this segment. 👍👌

Very green and lush in Vermont very safe and quiet 🤐 no traffic
I live in California I’m tired of living here. I’ll be moving to Miami in 4 years!
@@mariesoto569 Go for it!
California isn’t in a drought

Bradenton looks so nice! Doesn’t look as crowded which I really like. You found some good fishing spots.
Amazing..if you like a Heat Index over 100 8+ months of the year….Grandfather lived there…we hated it..miserable except in the Winter.

If i was living in Florida now it would be hard for me to stay off anna maria island we love it so much. ❤
Its a very fun place to be. Limited parking and all residential. On and off the island traffic nightmare tho

Bradenton looks like a nice place to live. Reminds me of Naples except more peaceful and less crowded. Probably more affordable too.
W FOOTAGE BRO DUDE 🤙
An amazing place but a very wealthy area.
BEAUTIFUL
Washington state will blow your mind with natural beauty. We have almost everything up here. Beaches, mountains, desert, rainforest.
bradenton was a beautiful little town 50 years ago.
Downtown Bradenton needs improvement plus more affordable houses to buy.
no new affordable homes. even the old ones are expensive
I was in Bradenton yesterday and it actually looked nicer since the last time I was there, just a few months ago
in the summer the zombies apocalypse of homeless people go back to ohio
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS 🤣 I'm originally from Ohio

@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS lol How do you afford to live there. It is so expensive of an area. What is the best small town in Florida to live in your opinion?
What beach were you at at 9:15?
Awesome video btw!
Coquina
Is that the river walk behind the Preserve apartments?
Think so
IF I lived in that area, I'd look for something from the airport down to downtown Sarasota
Good area for cast netting off the beach
Horseshoe crabs
Welcome 😁
I used to live there for 3 years … miss the place it was trashy back then it’s cleaned up

east coast isnt any cheaper. its all expensive. better jobs here i think tho
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS Agree with you.
? How many people fall off that pier?
I can’t believe it has no railing?
Florida experience :)
its a short ride down, because people fish... it needs no railing.
If you find an old ancient coin it's good
Property taxes can easily be $75k
Can you imagine a HUMAN making a nest in your backyard?
I was thinking about moving to Bradenton, thanks for the video. Have you done Venice?

Some of those vacation rentals actually get more than $20,000 a week. Not a month - a WEEK!!
Describe location, address of the places you are in and post for viewing.
The cons of living in Florida:
1. No Texas mequite barbecue and Tex-Mex
2. No scenic Texas hill country drives
3. No Big Red soda (Texas only)
Cons of living in tx. Crappy beaches, drought, and it ain't ar 🏞️. I'd prob pick tx over FL tho
1. Pizzano's Pizza on anna maria island sells big red soda. And big red is most popular in Kentucky not Texas.
2. Nothing in Texas is as scenic as our beaches, the Florida everglades and the Florida keys.
Florida has food scenes you dont in Texas.. so both states got something going on there
Despite being from texas the largest market is still around Louisville Kentucky
The cons of living in Texas:
1. Big Red soda is sold everywhere, sorry, lol.
2. ♿️ will freeze you to death in the winter, even tho Texas is an energy state.
3. The police are too scared to go into a school with an active shooter, ask Uvalde
RED TIDE FOR MONTHS AND MONTHS
You don't need to pay to go on any pier
You still in Lakewood ranch?
yeah, its considered BRADENTON or SARASOTA here in LWR. LWR is not incorporated so..
