I live in south Hillsborough county, one county up (to the north) I commute for work using US 41 to Bradenton. I love it. Jose is right about the traffic, going over the DeSoto bridge, during rush hours, traffic is a bear, but they do have the lights timed well.
It must be a winter thing, but I’ve noticed that traffic can be a bear going north on interstate 75 weekday afternoon and evenings from Naples all the way to the I-275 split. I find that very odd but I suppose it’s all the snowbirds in the area it makes sense.
Thank you so much for being honest. A lot of video maker people just say move here, move here, but they don't tell you the truth about those places like you do.
Also with the easiest airport to get in/out of! ❤️ Back on February 2nd I had only 4 people in front of me waiting to get through security compared to the very long waits at other airports. Exit 213 off of I-75 and only 102 miles from the Naples/Marco Island exit.
Moved to Samoset from Cleveland Ohio and thought we fell of the earth. Very different but it was cool eventually .90’s kids growing up in East Bradenton know about Pirate City , Florida Wheels ,Mixon Fruit Farms , Pirates Cove , Desoto Square Mall, Robby’s Shoe store, Coquina Beach , Southeast Highs School dominating in football, 24th street little league games in the hood. Left Bradenton years ago and would never go back but have a lot of good childhood memories there . East of 75 is much nicer btw I liked living out there a lot better .
Housing is too expensive in Bradenton. I moved to Alabama. Born and raised in Bradenton and left at age 40. My house here is 3 times less but is also on an acre of land and traffic is not as bad.Miss Bradenton though
Very helpful man. Although I’m a bit bummed out. I’m looking to move from CA, and your comments about crime and traffic spook me. I’m looking to get away from that shit! Thanks for your honest opinions. I’ll be out there in about a week. Want to take a look still.
I’m doing ok. I live in what is now called Silicon Valley . I’m 53 years old now .I grew up with a mini dirtbike track in my backyard and fishing. It was a great place to grow up. I come from a blue-collar background . I’m an auto mechanic by trade I can’t stand what has become of my state and it’s politics so please, Florida people to judge Californians too harshly we’re not all freaks.
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS I don’t know why you consider palmetto bad. Being from manatee county palmetto isn’t as half as bad as Bradenton. It may just look bad because of the older looking houses in seeing more people outside but it’s not bad as Bradenton . If you know you know

Oneco is ghetto and there are miles of bad areas in Bradenton from Sarasota border on 41 into Palmetto.
Stay out those areas in you’ll be fine
Im just glad u didn't call in One Co.

Yeah samoset is a very bad inner city area. East of 75 is amazing as well as the islands
GOSH... Thanks a lot for this video. I lived and studied there by 1987. I haven't been back since then. I love Bradenton.
its changed alot.
It sure has
Bradenton is ok, avoid 9th street, 1st street and 14th street near downtown.
14th st? Lot lizard alley.

What part of Alabama
Are the tornadoes bad in that area
Mobile. No the tornadoes are not that bad although I was lucky that a tornado passed over my house last year, but it didn't touch down.
My wife lived in Bradenton from 1977 to 1980.
I live off of 64 right off of 75 in Bradenton. I love the area. Right in the thick of all the stores on 64 and three lights from 75. No complaints.
💯🌴🌴🌴 and plenty of lakes full of bass 😊
I've been to the beach there, it was really nice
You are right about the food on the beach.
Bradenton has some authentic Mexican street food.
Coquina Beach is really nice. Also, I like the Pirates Spring Training games since I'm from Pittsburgh.
I attended Wakeland Elementary across from Pirates training facility. Oh boy the memories.
Great video Jose! Thank you for taking the time to break it all down.
curious how Bradenton compares to St.Pete and Sarasota. great video
After what I heard about Bradenton ... don't go there ! Someone told me allll about bradenton .
Jose I think a cool video would be a compilation of all your favorite places so far in America.
I do them and they get few views

Its a dope town to live. Lakewood ranch is much safer.
Depends on where you are now, less homeless and gangs here for sure.

Just mind your business stay away from trying to be friendly with locals in you will be fine.
What are your opinions on Palmetto, like north of palmetto right before the 19 bridge?
Along the water is nice and historic but go a little further ahead and its bad……

Fishing also at jiggs landing
Is there anything but expressways in Bradenton? The entire video is of road!
Your video said Bradenton all your showing is the beach we don’t know who those people are over there. They’re visitors tours.
What's the Mexican place you mentioned? Can't quite make out the pronunciation! Thank You!
not even sure cant remember! maybe Wimauma?
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS all good, Thank You! 🤙🍻
Clear water beach is beautiful 😍
I think it's becoming over crowded though, so I prefer Gulf Shores instead
Alabama beaches get insanely crowded one time so many of people hotels were $670
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS I stayed in my camper at gulf Shores state park, $40 per night
Beaches in Florida are average people exaggerate!!
