They look Absolutely Delicious!!! Thank you Angela Kay for sharing this recipe with us!!! I have a 10 inch cast iron pan!!! I'm afraid that I'm going to eat the whole thing in one setting they look so dang good!!! God Bless Us All!!!
DUDE! When you bit into it the FIRST time, and I heard that CRUNCH !!! MMMMmmmaaaaannnnnnNNNNN. I'm making this first thing tomorrow morning. ... and I don't think these would last overnight for tomorrows jelly and eggs. 😃😄😃
I cooked these biscuits this morning and they were delicious. That’s what I call a wow biscuit. I have a gas oven and it took 8 minutes longer. Came out perfect. My husband love the crunch of the biscuits. Glad I joined. 👍😁
I just bought a cast iron pan, and looking for recipes. You get a thumbs up for the video and especially for that little giggle when you bit into that biscuit! Made me smile, and I'm a Canadian born in England and not all that familiar with biscuits like you southerners, but damn that looks and sounds so good... CRUNCH!😍
that small amount of sugar will not really have an effect on the taste but it will definitely help with the browning of the dough...getting that great golden brown top. Sugar helps encourage browning.
🤍🩷🤚 Hi from Los Angeles. I foodblog Veganizing recipes. Thank You for the recipe and techinque , reminds of Cornbread in the cast Iron skillet. I really like Biscuits. I learned of that faux Buttermilk with a quick and easy Biscuit recipe ( with Vegetavle Oil , instead of Butter ) decades ago from a Southern. I think the only difference with the Buttermilk would be the viscosity of It ( the taste is basically the same ) which can be accomplished easily with a thickener like Tapioca starch ?? A Plant Butter I just discovered is better than the real' , I was skeptical It wasnt Plant based. Probably with a casserole dish I would try , as I prefer lighlty toasted. : ) 🤍🩷
I have made these once before and forgot about it this recipe until i watched your video today. Im totally gonna be making these agin.
Giving these biscuits a try with tonight’s butternut squash soap

Priceless 😅 got to make them !!
They’re the best!!
Vegan butter is not margarine therefore you CAN make a delicious vegan version of this.
Is the sugar necessary?
