    This is without a doubt, the best auto repair video of any kind I have seen on UA-cam. I suscribed to the channel as a result. I have a 2010 X3 and I have a feeling I'm going to find more concise and easy to see and understand videos ahead. Thanks

    Thanks for the reminder on the steps in the process. Nm conversion= 18.4 ft. lbs on both the oil drain plug and the oil filter housing.

    Can I just use napa 5w30 oil? I am a high school student who is looking to save money but still wants to take care of their vehicle.

    • @fortyfour6626
      @fortyfour6626 5 років тому +4

      no...not wise. Save money somewhere else. skip the starbucks...or something but dont use oil not recommended. These engines are finicky for very specific and real reasons. Use the right stuff or you will seriously shorten the life of the engine.

    Excuse me while I vent. Our 2007 BMW X3 turned into a money pit after the 4 yr warranty. In the first year we had the interior blower fan replaced and we still have interior leaks from air conditioner condensation. Oil leaks galore! I think we've had all gaskets replaced. Starter replaced, injector replaced,......money pit. Thanks for the oil change tips.
