The shop-built cars are really cool because they bring a lot of talent, experience, and resources together, but the self-built cars with a long history are my favorite. Imagine all the experiences Umberto has had with this thing over decades of ownership. When you've had a car that long, you've no doubt grown up as a person with it. It's not the same thing it was two decades ago and neither are you. Cheers to many more years and adventures for this one and the family that surrounds it.
AutotopiaLA you rock, ur content is unmatched with the cars u bring to table for us to relish But i think the videos need to be longer and i really want the long close up shots of those exceptional cars u guys shoot
I love it! Just because you need to pick up the groceries or the kids from practice, doesn't mean you can't do it in style or without a couple bangin' burnouts, too!
Awesome. Love seeing different stuff. I like the popular stuff also but it's cool to see people trick out vehicles that are not mainstream and be different. 👍
Shawn, we had a predecessor to Humberto's Carry All on our homestead in Alaska in the early 1950's... 53 or 54. I really like the way he dressed this up though. Ours was typical for the time... VERY basic. Hard panels, side-opening doors at the rear, and a straight 6 / 4 speed. Humberto's is by far, the best looking one I've ever seen!!
@@AutotopiaLA It's hard to describe, but when the build is a personal one and the owner has had it for so long, the spirit of the build and the person almost become intertwined.
Yes that's awesome every panel should be done like this I had a 66 C10 they are all worth restoring this way I've always liked panel van slash trucks love them all
Shauns face at 9:13 is priceless! Lol...you were holding that door rest pretty tight my dude. Beautiful build, great video as usual. Still my favorite channel.
Love your truck! I have a 61 but not a good looking as yours. Bought it in California in 1984 and drove back to Florida. It’s now a rust bucket but still running if anyone is interested.
That’s a very unique built! Wow, great combinations of colors, very Clean, not over done nor under done. Great truck and sounds good, looks good, she can be mean if she needs too!! Love it !
Great video bro keep them coming. Love everything about this build except for the speaker box location, could have hidden the amp and subwoofer in the rear somewhere. The owner probably won’t be running to Home Depot with this sweet ride but it’s always good to have that usable space.
Nice truck, cool that the owner did much of it himself (getting help as needed), and that engine. Plenty of power, and the exhaust note is just right. The coolest part though, is that it's different.
I got the plastic model kit of that year Chevy Suburban, I found another one, I know what to do with it, Thanks for the ideas, This where I get most my ideas for my plastic model kit building
I don’t know how this channel does not have 1 million subs or over. Best car guy channel out there. Non of that repetitive super car / hyper car stuff. Great host, amazing editing, even more amazing cars!
Thank you so much! We’re still fairly new and hoping that we have the kind of audience the super/hyper/mega guys have. Really appreciate your comment here 👊
Hey bro sorry to comment twice. But with this shit going on and outta work I'm bummed out and watching this and when you guys do your pulls it legit makes me happy and burnouts make me smile. So Thanks Shawn good stuff man..

Shawn lover your channel, I live in the UK and its awesome to see all these modified American cars we never got. Plus how you guys mod Euro cars is cool.
He did a great job. Great story, innovative design, clever touches, well chosen colours and an awesone sound. My GF has a 66 stepside. This would be another reference point for it. My only question is this - Why did they never make a 4 door version of it? They did a crewcab. So why not merge that with this?
That's a cool vehicle and I like that its family and friends that have got together and built it over time. Reminds me of my dad and 2 uncles getting together to drop down and old 1970 Vauxhall Cresta that was jacked up on massive wheels, they dropped it back down onto MK2 Granada independent suspension, then some doughnut cut it up on its way to paint and smashed it to oblivion, Gutted =(
Linda mais que perfeita essa suburban o trabalho feito foi realmente de muitíssimo bom gosto faltando apenas um belíssimo ar condicionado abraço a todos
Awesome truck. And the history with the owner is pretty great too. But somebody needs to tell him how to say Chevrolet. Great video man. Totally dig that truck.

I really like it it's great build the only thing i would have done differently is the shifter i would have had it longer for faster power shifting but out side of it all it's a beautiful build really did a nice job.

I love the exhaust on it. Flipping the bumper over was a perfect idea for that. Genius.
Agreed. Such a cool idea and looks great!
Real subtle build with a kick ass power plant
What a beautiful build, cool owner , great stuff!
Yes and yes. Such a cool guy
Oh my goodness 😍. All time favorite build so far that’s been shown on your channel
I'd take this one over the 2020 version. Hell, even over the 2021! Absolutely Gorgeous!!
All day everyday!
3:38 Actually, nailed it on the entire build - so well done, clean; not overmodded
Those old shoe boxes have a special place in my heart had a 66 and a 64 Fleetside pickup always wanted a carry-all badass 🍻🍕😎👍🎬🎥
