Omg…. Totally agree with waking up to the clean kitchen every day! I’ve done this most of my adult life (not including baby-toddler time!). Yesterday is past - today is a new day!
My husband and I are actually working on improving this. We've been together for 22 years and have had rough few years but we recovered as a married couple so now we need to improve on having more quality time without technology no matter what. Wish us luck
I have watched 100000s of videos similar to this (probably watched most of the videos on UA-cam related to this sort of topic) and I’m not sure why, but this is easily the best and most useful one I’ve seen. The actual tips provided are so tangible and well thought out. I’ve filled a page with notes and will refer back to them. Thank you! (P.s - I have never left a comment on UA-cam before, that’s how useful I found this!)
Woahhh! What a compliment!! Thank you so much 🫶 I hope these tips are helpful for you. Thanks for being here, and thanks for your comment. You've made my day 💕
I needed to hear number 20. I feel like I'm in my self care, self improvement era, trying to be proactive and tidy and do my best for me. I just had a room mate move in and she is very much a do it later kind of person. But like that said, its because she's in a different place in life and I do need to do a better job of realizing that while I'm trying to thrive she's just getting out of survival mode and is likely doing her best with the mental space that she is in, in this moment. I definitely need to give her more grace. I needed to hear that. We all get there in our own time. I so appreciate and vibe with this list of habits. Like I'm there. It feels like you're reinfocing that I'm doing the right things and am on the right track. Thanks for the helpful tips!
I use Gruns for my well-being and my nails used to very weak of too much nail salon services and 2 months of using Gruns, I have so much more energy, laser focus, better digestion, stronger nails, less aches and pains, and better nutrition and being intentional about everything now.
Oh wow, your video just randomly popped up on my feed and I’m so grateful for it❤️I’m gonna check out your other content! Just wanted to tell you that the energy you radiate is truly charming and you seem like a great person! Absolutely loved all those small habits🫶🏼🫶🏼
Recently discovered your channel and so helpful. I'm not a doctor but work in residential home setting and find somedays when residents are down and staff stressed I try to go in positive and happy. It's hard some days
Love the idea about making a note about important dates/events that the people close to you have coming up and then following up with them. It’s so easy to forget things but I find that just the process of writing it down helps me to remember
I just discovered your channel and am really impressed with the content you produce here. You are also such a nice, authentic woman and you definitely have a new subscriber. Greetings from Germany
What an inspiring video Sarah. 😊 These are great tips, some of which I already do - even if I’m really tired or feeling ill, I always clean up my kitchen before I go to bed. A similar tip I have is to always leave your house in a state that you would wish to come home to. Particularly on your days off when you might be going out for the day somewhere. Get the chores done before you go out as nine times out of ten you won’t feel like doing them when you get home. I’ll be trying some of your other tips, thanks. ❤
Dr Sarah I just found you on my I Phone. Immediately you spoke to my ♥️. I look forward to hearing more and take written notes along the way. I am an RN and am a Grandmother to 7 precious people. Your words will edify my life and the lives of the ones I love.May God bless you as you bless others. I thank you for ALL you do🙏❤️😇 Joette Grimes ::Brunswick Georgia
Great tips! Also loved how each one was filmed like when you just thought of it. Made the video more exciting and not like a lecture like other peoples self help videos can be like! ❤❤ I’ve just set up a reminder to joy journal on my phone and have just noticed two random things today that brought me such joy but I will probably never remember, but thanks to this new joy journal I can look back on and bring that joy to light again 🤩
Thank you so much! I've made a series of these videos now, where I just film them on the go and they are really fun to make, so I'm glad you enjoy that format! Also, so happy to hear you're going to start a joy journal 🥰 I hope it brings you as much happiness as it does for me.
A must rewatch! I love how real and applyable these tips are Sarah. From our coaching sessions and additional help, You never fail in the advice you share. 🤗💗
Great video. Incredibly helpful tips. I’m not a HC professional, but an attorney with burnout. Also dealing with a mentally ill child and parent with dementia. All of these tips are great to keep you on track. Thank you!
Gosh, you have a lot on your plate. I think there are many similarities between our professions - high workload, high expectations, cognitive burden, people coming to us with problems etc.
I'm so happy to have found your channel today, I'm on a mission to reduce stress and enjoy life more and these are all excellent tips. One thing I've been doing is taking 2 minutes to make my bed every day. Even if everything else has gone a bit chaotic it feels like a kindness to myself to climb into a smooth bed at the end of the day rather than a big jumble of bed clothes. Thank you for this great video and have a lovely day ❤
That's so lovely! Making the bed is so simple but has a surprisingly big impact. If you're on a mission to reduce stress, you'll probably enjoy my 'soft life' video, where I talk about creating a stress free life. Also my video on '30 ways to make your life easier'. Enjoy!!
This video randomly popped up and it’s the best one I’ve ever watched on habits! I had my pen and paper flowing with your habits. I relate to so many…especially nail biting and i hate how my hands look. Now to start implementing them! Thank you!
Loved this video! Just randomely came across it, and found all those tips very useful. Even though I practice already some of them, it is so helpful to have them in one place! Thank you for putting this video together. 🙏🏻
So many helpful tips. Some I hadn’t thought about and am now implementing in my own life, like drinking a glass of water right when I wake up and setting timers for tasks. 😊
Your lipgloss in the beginning is SO pretty! A good habit I’ve developed..after noticing how much sound affects me (gotta love aging) is always having ear plugs with me. Grocery store, unloading the dishwasher, cooking, car wash, mall, concerts, can be overwhelming with sounds and we don’t realize it. It’s really peaceful having ear plugs in. I also avoid tv commercials like the plague. They are nauseating and obnoxious. I feel like I’ll go insane with the constant changing of visuals and music. My goodness!!! Oh and here’s something else! I’m sure you’ve heard of fast and slow twitch muscles right? I believe this doesn’t only apply to physical exercise, but it also applies to the MIND. I have fast twitch. I can sprint super fast but I don’t have endurance. Similarly, I will happily clean everything in 5 minutes rather than take my time cleaning in 30 minutes. I can do it. It’s almost life changing to understand what kind of muscles you have , and adjust your habits to it.
I work long hours so this year doing groceries twice a month. only buying perishables like fruits when it’s gone! precutting all veggies and freezing them. My smoothies now are packed into ziplock baggies and ready for each morning to dump into my ninja! Such a game changer. Sunday mornings I get up as if I was going to work and cook for the week and freeze some into ready to take containers I take both my lunch and dinner to work! Such a huge help so no cooking or washing dishes Monday to Friday. I wash my stuff at work right after I eat. Sundays I put all my gym outfits into one bag and leave at work (so I change at work before leaving for gym and I eat my dinner early at work then go to the gym. When I get home just need a shower! It’s golden! My coffee cup is at work / with all my supplies and every day I leave it ready for the next morning
Well, of all your posts to start with, this one is so positively impactful! Thank you for sharing these habits. I'll incorporate some of these into my daily life. :-) And I'll keep watching your channel!

I now know where everything is and don't need to go searching. I will be using some of your great ideas 😊
Just found your channel and LOVE everything I have watched. 🙂 these are all such great tips and are actually realistic for me! Those cuticle trimmers are such a simple thing that make a difference in my life. Otherwise, I’m picking at my hands and next thing I know, they’re bleeding and a mess. Maybe I should buy a couple of extra pairs so I can keep them convenient at all times. 😂 Looking forward to watching more of your videos!
Exactly!! These were passed on to us from Vince's grandparents and apparently they always saved them for best... and never used them. So they were given to us on the condition that we would use them regularly 🥰
You have such a unique beauty and demeanor ! Your video is amazing ! I loved it and I’m happy I came across it . Keep it up ! Btw your chain necklace is lovely. Where did you find it pls . Corina
Just randomly came across your channel. And ohhhhhh myyyy I love every single bit of this video.... Thank you so much for making my day amazing.... leaving you a big fat subscribe... ❤
Thank you! I have a few favourites: Gabrielle by Chanel is my no1 fave. I also like peony and blush suede from Jo Malone. Ralph Lauren Romance. Chance from Chanel 🫶
Thanks for this video. But my attention is fixated on that kitchen sink. 😂 does your sink dispense hot water? I’ll have to see if we have this in the States. 🤗
How beautiful you are! What a wonderful human you are! The example you set for others is one of your gifts to the world. Love from Turks and Caicos Island, Linda, age 77.
