She did a great job explaining everything. You have a great video to refer to if you can't remember what she said. It was very nice of her to let you record it.
Wow! I have a 2006 Scamp Trailer, 16ft. It is surprising how very little has changed in the design of this trailer. It is great if you are a young couple that grew out of the tent experience. If you are an older couple with a dog, get a bigger trailer. Maybe a 24 foot one. Otherwise, very good informative video.
Interesting to see the new Scamp 16. We had a 2015. Moving the hot water heater and converter power center under the driver side rear dinette is a good idea. We had water heater under kitchen sink and power center under seat of side dinette, which wasted a lot of space. The driver side rear dinette seat was never any usable space. We are now traveling with an Escape 19 which we love, but much more $$ than Scamp.
She's ABSOLUTELY RIGHT! If you call Scamp they answer the phone AND answer questions! They are very nice and help with enthusiasm! Try calling the other brand C. Camper's...phone ALWAYS Rings off the hook...I've tried different hrs. different days..SAME! Customer care after the sale is sooo highly important! They got my product mailed out to me the very next day! Super Company!
Nice explanation of trailer. When we bought our trailer (different brand) the guy didn’t tell us anything. I kept prompting him to tell us about it. Even told him this was our first time RV purchase. Didn’t sink in. I finally gave up. I figured I wasn’t going to get jack outta this guy, he obviously wasn’t aware that it was his job to be telling us about the features of the trailer.
The counter top cooking stove emits carbon dioxide so if it's on there should be some ventilation. When burning it will also produce water vapor. Again, a little ventilation is a good idea.
do ANY of the 110V outlets work without being plugged into shore power? Is there a converter or inverter that can turn at least 1 110V on without plugging in or using a generator?
Most (all?) camper manufactures say not to travel with them full. Some will void warranties if something happens and you had them full. It's just their way of saying "not my problem" if something goes wrong. Many RV video makers talk about how this is such a BS thing.
It's just logical. Why add a ton of weight to one side of the vehicle and then tow it? I mean, use common sense. You CAN do it, it's just going to tow better if you DON'T do it.
so , if the alternator is charging the chassis battery and the coach battery is drawing off of that,, The what is the issue with running down the road with the fridge on 12 volt? If you cannot do that, it is a design flaw.. Perhaps she did not explain it correctly.
not the best walk through! I guess you figured out by now, that you have to have the battery switch on while traveling or the fridge isn't working, not on battery nor LPG. I couldn't believe my ears, when she said " too late now" for the 110V hot water heater element. Add that on it's convenient! And that little AC should work on 15 Amps, if not add a soft start to it and it will! And I'm disappointed, that they are not able to place the fresh water tank in a place better suited for weight distribution!
Yes she did. She suggested taking your fresh water in 5 gallon jugs inside the camper and then when you get to your destination, put them in the tank. It's just about diversifying the load.
Two separate drains, one for black water and a different one for grey water? How do you safely and cleanly remove your slinky from the black water to move it to the gray water drain???
Hey if you're being thrown out of your apartment and you live on Social Security don't worry buy yourself one of these $25,000 little trailers that go behind you beat up car you have no problem at all
This woman did an excellent walk through, very thorough and demonstrated everything!
This woman is an absolute boss at camper delivery. What a pleasure to watch. 😊
I had this Scamp employee do the walk thru with the trailer I picked a few weeks ago. She did an excellent job.
She did a great job explaining everything. You have a great video to refer to if you can't remember what she said. It was very nice of her to let you record it.
We did ask and she was fine with it.
This lady did a very thorough walk through and demonstration on how EVERYTHING works...
Almost too good. Made me feel bad for forgetting everything. tHus the vid.
One of the best revelations of s Scamp. Thanks!
We had our 13' Scamp for 30 years! We bought it brand new for $1300 and then sold it 30 years later for $1000.
That really held its value
Oh! No. I looking for one in useable for 5,000.
I’m assuming this is a buyer’s tour. Brilliant! Cuz I can really imagine living in it. Thanks for sharing your experience.
Love the scamp but I like the 5th wheel one thanks for video
This woman did a great job! Thank you!
I have to agree, this gal does a great job of educating and thorough with her instructions.
I was amazed that she said oh don't travel with the massive 12 gallon fresh water tank full. 😳
The owners are obviously new tonRVs, this lady did a great job explaining things.
We are the owners and we are green as can be.
❤ hope you have many years of exciting and safe travels. Thanks for sharing. 🇦🇺
Lots to remember.
Have fun with your trailer.
God bless.

This was an awesome instruction video. Definitely helps make a purchase decision. Thank you for sharing.
And great to go back to when it's 6 months later and you forgot everything.

Exactly!!
I wanna get this tour...gotta convince the missus first, though...wah wah...
I would love to have a scamp.
Pretty awesome,
Booyah 👊 😁 👍 🇺🇲
I love how they moved the water heater to back. mine is under the sink. I have a same layout.
Same in the Casita (where sink is… under the stove). I kind of like this location better as well.

That's nuts, no demo?

Thanks for the info! We mostly cook outside but we open the window for ventilation
Quality build
Does this woman work for Scamp? Great explanation
At 40:24..in the background, was an assembly employee spray painting the tongue with a rattle can on a new trailer??
Other than two separate ports for black and grey tanks, not bad. Thinking of downsizing.
the plug for the water heater is also anode to prevent the tank from rusting if ita a seburn water heater is problaly good for a year
Thanks!

I want a Scamp. 🥺
Great walk through, I hope that you gave her a good size tip ? Thanks nice video
Where do you plug in small Keurig coffee maker? 35:47
in the electrical plug. But we don't use Keurig, it's environmentally irresponsible.
Ok tell us how much this little jewel is... Since we know all that it has in it... Thanks
Oh ate electric awnings available on this camper
I'm not sure if an electric awing is available. Look on the web site.
I always thought that you needed a wooden stake to kill a vampire.
How much are these cute campers?
Just dial up SCAMP and ask. Somewhere in the hight $20s
Didn't see whatever it was about the latch on the door. Couldn't see thru the door.
It's just a spot to hook a T-style latch when the door is open to prevent the wind from catching the door.
Is Scamp selling the renogy solar panels now? Wattage?
They are selling the solar package. Not sure of wattage, check with scamp.
I wonder why they put small wheels on these?
Stupid design flaw if you can't travel with your water tank full. Enjoyed the walk thru.

I wish they would get rid of those carpeted walls!!! Otherwise its cute!
I'm 100% with you.
I would like to mount the unit less axel and hitch to a flatbed trailer so I could haul my OHV toys on the back😊
Why don't you call Scamp and see if that's a possibility.
Ever notice how it seems that everything the employee is saying to tje customers, is going in one ear, and out the other.
That's why we did a video too, and rewatch it when we have brain-farts.
I wold have written everything she said.
That’s what the video is for I think.
Thus the VID. I can't write that fast, so it's like a recording I can go back to... duh.

my son Arthur hides in the camper so he can get away from me and i don't like it when he doesn't speak to me!
Did she say don't travel with full fresh water tank??? That would defeat the purpose of going camping.
The tank is near the back end of the scamp and could cause a lot of sway.
I'm not sure of your question. Both are outgoing drains.
I'm just thinking I want a full tank of fresh water when I head out into the woods. I'd check into that a little more.
I just don't want a bed/sofa/chair combination.
We chose a Casita 17 ft. Deluxe….much better than a scamp. imho.
Resale and ease of pulling and age of company weighed into our decision.
Why?
41 minutes? Immediately no.
I noticed the lady kept making sure she ppl were paying attention to her but in a rude way. Her attitude was not a good one. No smile.
She really isn't there for the viewers, she was there to show us how our new scamp worked and we are thankful.
A lot of money to NOT have a real bed !!
It's real. Not for large people, but real.
You can easy to modify the queen size bed in the back.
Hey if you're being thrown out of your apartment and you live on Social Security don't worry buy yourself one of these $25,000 little trailers that go behind you beat up car you have no problem at all
Bitter much?
@@team3tears not me I ain't better at all I could give a f***
