As a senior golfer, who has taken instruction from some of the best teachers in the game, I can attest to the proven success of Kirk Junge's method. The "Setup4Impact" technique is far superior than the conventional method of setting up with the arms below the body. I had the pleasure of working with Kirk three years ago at his West Palm Beach location, and I can say without reservation that what he teaches is the "real deal". If you want to play better golf, look no further than Kirk Junge's "Setup4Impact" method.
I’ve been working at this method for a couple of years now and it’s definitely the best swing for this senior’s body. I had one of my best ball striking nine hole rounds just recently where I found myself either putting for birdie or par on all nine holes. That’s evidence of consistent ball striking. The key for me along with setting up for impact is good swing rhythm. I’m learning to take more club and swinging with a more relaxed tempo. My putting definitely needs more work however! Thanks Kirk!
@@garethwilliams6474 That is totally absurd. Bryson DeChambeau uses this swing style and hits if farther than 99.9% of the golfers in the world. The golfer you replied to said h was swinging at a more relaxed tempo (not fast). Some pros do this as well for more accuracy. Most golfers see an increase in distance of between 10 and 20 yards with my system. Learn more at setup4impact.com
@@garethwilliams6474 The FACT is that virtually every client I work with hits the ball farther after working with my method. There are zero restrictions on speed, and it is easier to create speed if you do not have to reroute the club during the back and downswing. Bryson DeChambeau swings as I instruction and he is one of the longest hitting golfers on the planet. If you were to restrict your swing as the people copying Moe tend to do then you will lose speed and distance. Maybe you are confusing what I teach with what they do.
It looks to me like you really cover the ball with your right shoulder nicely, which should help with power in the golf swing. ie, similar to Lee Trevino. I Hope you are planning some more on course shows with other golfers.
I’m only 44, but years in the marine corps really took a toll on my joints. Thanks for this video. I went out to the range after watching and then watched while I was there and it really helped me get more distance and to feel less pain after.
Getting this right is way more difficult than it looks so having a premium membership that I could send videos really helped as Kirk was able to show me where I was going wrong. I’m over 70 and have difficulty with one hand drills but I’m still working on them, my goal, is to break 80 before I’m 80 from the senior tees
@@JamesGierach well with the way the weather varies around here I certainly would need to pick my days but I think the point is valid. Pick goals that are a stretch but attainable. First 100, then 95, 90, 85, & 80 or best low score on a particular course etc. so as to give yourself the required motivation without the frustration.
Kirk, been a member for over a year! Love your instructions. I still struggle with over gripping with the right hand which causes me to lift the iron and strike straight down behind the ball! I do this most often with my wedges on the golf course. Thanks for your instruction!
Why is it important to do Drill 1 (one-handed) WHILE USING THE OTHER HAND TO HOLD ELBOW near the body? To prevent flying elbows??? To keep swing more compact or centered? To prevent arm from flying forward away from the body (ie. Shank)? Thank you for helping.😊
We are mimicking perfect impact so each hand needs to learn its job. This is the most effective drill that I have ever found at teaching great impact. A great many of my clients are playing the best golf of their lives. Most people though do need my coaching to get there. I have found that 98% of people do not do the drills as I teach them. So video coaching is extremely valuable. More at academy.setup4impact.com
I have never seen a successful golfer using the arms only. The body needs to move the arms as it does for every top golfer in the world. I teach you how to do all this with my drills in my learning program at setup4impact.com/online/
Gareth, Have you completed my complete learning program of Drill 1 through 4? Most people following my program gain speed and therefore distance. Bryson DeChambeau uses this concept and hits it VERY far.
Moe’s swing worked well only for Moe. I have never seen another player replicate his results. If you have please post their tournament results. I tried for a great many years, only to realize after teaching for a big school that most really struggled, got worse, and many had injuries trying to copy him. My setup 4 Impact method is customizable for each individual golfer with the goal of helping them improve as quickly as possible. It has helped me and many clients play the best golf of our lives.

Great to hear!
This answers the question I just asked above. Club up as club speed is reduced with this swing style.

More short game tips please 😁 ie using bounce, hitting high shots, low spinners that bounce once and roll out. Just some ideas

My wife suggests I try “golfing the temperature” instead of my age. 80 later this month.😂

Watched another video of yours recently. In it you were using your Vokey 54 degree wedge for the first time. What bounce and grind did you buy?
GREAT STUFF!

Do Drill 1 with the right hand only as much as possible. Make sure you do it exactly as you see me demonstrating it.

But isn’t there a lot of clubhead speed lost if you hold off on the release? Thanks Kirk
You should not hold off the release. You release later though impact. Over 99% of golfers are released before impact.
So is your method the body swing as opposed to the arms swing.

Kirk. I can't generate any club head speed with this swing. Are you clubbing up or am I missing something?

Hard to see if your wrists are breaking (or setting) on the backswing and rotating on the through swing.....
I have a problem with woods
The drill 19:00
How about take away back swing
You can find step by step instructions at setup4impact.com/online/
I'm confused......you've rode the moe norman train for years......now it's no good?
