7:02 My friend had this passthrough in his Accord. One day we were taking a roadtrip, and realized we left the snacks in the trunk. We were on the highway with no exit in sight, so I opened the passthrough and jammed myself in there to retrieve the snacks. Nifty feature.
We inherited a 2007 accord exl 2.4 automatic in Moroccan red pearl with gray interior from my grandmother, just recently crossed over 70k miles. It’s not in the best of shape on the exterior, a few scratches and dents, slight clear coat peel on the front bumper. But the interior is almost mint besides some slight sun damage to the leather seats.
I had a 2007 taffeta white EX V6 Sedan from 2007 to 2012. "Akbar Accord" Drove it from 59K to 132K miles then went back to German land with a 2006 BMW 330ci ZHP 6spd that I still have. It was a great car and that engine does sound really nice. I let my front tires get a bit worn out for a bit and it was pretty goofy. Was easy to maintain too.
I'm more of a GM man, but GM doesn't have any cars worth buying today except their trucks and corvettes. My wife bought a new 2006 Accord EX V6 with Nav. We've had it all this time. It's a pretty good car. We have 155,000 miles on it. Hers has the added package of auto diming rearview mirror and fog lights in the bumper.
The 2007 7th gen end of line honda accord is possibly going to become a timeless classic if it hasn't already. I would bulk buy wear and tear service items for it and keep this until you literally have to replace the engine block. It's the step up from a camry if you can't afford an older Lexus - which also is ridiculously more expensive to maintain and for parts. This car literally should easily last 30+ years if you look after it. One day people will want this version of accord as they simply went backwards until 2015 and that's double in price. Keep don't sell.
