For me I feel like one of the most important parts I didn’t see in your terrific review I was hoping for. What device produces the most stable / smooth video when walking or moving around from a gimbal perspective?
Thank you for the review, I have the Os 5 and I think it's the same on yours - theres a tilt on the gimbal so you can lean it forward more. pull out the extention a bit and manually tilt it and you can get the forward position to work for you. hope this helps you or someone watching
And still its a bad thing. You can not make tilt noticable worse compared to the OM4 and compensate it with a manual tilt on the gimbal side. Thats similar to how hybride cars were advertised with "300HP", but in the end they had only 90 HP long term because they add both engines together despite being useless on the highway at faster speeds.
I love my previous osmo mobiles... but I as I am prepping for Italy, the convenience and size of the pocket 3 seems like it is the perfect travel package.

I was planning to buy iPhone 15 regular one and a gimbal to shoot some reel and travel content should I go with it or dji pocket 3?
Pocket 3 all day, I own both iPhone 15 & iPhone 15 Pro Max with the OM6 but still reach for my Pocket 3 when it comes to making social media content. I love being able to wirelessly monitor the pocket 3 with my phone using the DJI app.

I was thinking of grabbing the 6 I have the rsc 4 pro gimbal .but that’s too much .! You think I’ll be fine with the 6 or should I get the osmo 3’i also have the new DJI mics
@@princedavis4643 in that case get the OSMO 6 Mobile Phone or just a good tripod. If you’ll be recording audio look into the DJI Mic 1.
If you have money to spend the Pocket 3 creator combo comes with everything you need tbh.

Do you use your large gimbal anymore, so far I have avoided buying a gimbal because of the setup time, but I'm thinking of buying a P3 especially if DJI release a single unit MIC-2, so I can do a two person interview at speed. I think they will because the P3 internal reciever will accept two MIC-2 transmitters.
I only use the big gimbal for more professional projects, I dont think its worth breaking out for youtube videos and stuff

The main reason why I prefer Osmo Pocket 3 is that I can monitor my footage in 4K while using osmo mobile if I want to monitor the footage I can only use the front camera with less resolution
You can change the osmo 6 so that you can lean forward btw 😅

I don’t think so, I believe I tried it. It’s a great gimbal and people have some amazing results from it. But it just doesnt feel natural to me

I love your final thoughts for ppl who is going to start recording. You don't need anything fancy to start and be successfull... Hardware will come later to the scene...
Thank you for video. Im thinking to buy one for my own use and to do some unboxing videos and some vlogs. Personally, i wanan go with osmo pocket 3 coz it is compact and catches less attention and so lightt.
Can you make any footage video shot on osmo pocket 3? My main concern is the stabilization especially vlog and when i shoot my desk set up etc.

You cant compare or review things when you dont even know them! You can tilt the whole mechanism slightly pulled out on the OM5 and OM6 because their limited tilt action.
If thats the only issue you had with it... go for the OM4 it is much less restricted (but doesnt allow to manually tilt it in your preferred spot!)
I also barely use the OM5 to be honest, but i would not use a Pocket 3 more. Also your argument how easier and faster its ready to shoot... NOPE, only if you really "need" external audio. If your phone is ready to clamp in, its as fast ready to shoot, also you can control at least basic functions even in the regular photo/video apps.
But i think times changed, i got recently a iPhone 15 (non Pro, but otherwise absolutely useless 256GB storage), and i really have to try the OM5 now a bit more plus i cant care less about space on the internal storage of the iPhone.
The internal reciever in the P3 is the big feature for me. I video and photo events for a living. Very often Im asked to do quick interviews usually involving a interviewer and an interviewee. I really hate having any setup time because Im time poor at these events and the quicker the better as the interviewee, can be made nervous by the setup time. (all this depends on the MIC-2 eventually being sold individually so a single unit can be added to the single unit sold with the creator combo).
