Ajuda eu reclamar no site deles, no canal deles pra fazerem uma atualização pra arrumar os pontos negativos, um deles é o brilho da tela que a gente não tem o controle, diminuí o brilho da tela pra economizar carga da bateria, mais o aplicativo deles ao se conectar com o DJI OM6 volta o brilho acima da média o que é uma sacanagem com a gente, não tem a opção de desativar

Hi, thank you for this video comparison! I really needed that since I’m planning to get OM6, but I have a question, did you say that we can only take shoots through their App and can’t use the phone’s camera App or any other camera?
no, you of course can use the native camera app as well

I’m confused why you didn’t mention that the OM6 has a telescope arm and therefore a much much wider range of use cases?
i am not a fan of it to be honest as the entire thing just becomes less stable and feels more filmsy. For certain scenarios definitely helfpul though!
Plus the m6 battery lasts twice as long and not mentioned here.

Yes, the only problem with the Hohem is switching from portrait to landscape mode. However, it is comprehensive in all aspects, especially lighting, tracking, shooting panoramas, products, interviews, and selfies.
I agree with you in the end when you talked about using them in different fields. The DJI is lightweight, easy to set up, and quick to use for a job that requires taking a video or taking a picture that you would miss if you used the Hohem.

Which is better for Samsung/Android phones, regards to software/app. Or any other suggestions for Android/Samsung?
hands down go hohem... if you have android it allows you to shoot full 4k 60 where the dji does not. Dji also very limited when it comes to android they are 100% more centered to apple phones always has been.
I'm sure i saw a video elsewhere that showed an easier way to move from portrait to landscape mode. They just tapped the phone and it turned using motors. Can you confirm this?

Have you experienced any mechanical failures with the Hohem? The motors don't lock either right? It seems that there are a lot of bad reviews on this Gimbal. Is it worth upgrading to the MT2? I;ve also been reading the the DJI has terrible active tracking.
Also can you use a GoPro 12 with any of these?
Been trying to decide between the DJI, Hohem, and Insta 360 Flow.
Last question, can you use bany of these with the blackmagic app?

My personal go-to currently is the Hohem iSteady M6 - it has the most all around package for me. I had no issues with the motor struggling or anything similar. the MT2 makes just sense if you use a heavier setup. I don't have a gopro so I don't know sorry! Hope this helps

I bought the OM5 to replace my OM1. Now I'm back with the OM1 !!! OM5 (and OM6) is more for filming yourself and very limited cinematic move. But on the positive side, it is very compact. Choose wisely... :))
What do you mean with it‘s meant to film yourself? You can shoot absolutely stunning videos with the OM5 and OM6, also not of yourself ;)
@@smartphonefilmmakingpro Filming yourself with the extension pole. And as you said in your Mobility section, OM is very limited. That's what I meant. (Sorry, I'm a French speaking guy).

The only couple things I can see where the m6 outdoes the om6 is the tilt angle and the fact it can carry a heavy load.
People will say that with the m6… you can use other apps but from what I understand you can do that with the om6 as well. When both are used with other apps their features are limited.
The m6 seems awful cumbersome to operate.
Plus the m6 has way more battery.

I purchased both. I like the Hohem more because of the mobility…however I cannot for the life of me figure out how I can make it work with a plug in mic while in portrait mode. I have an iPhone and need an adapter. The adapter sticking out of the bottom of the phone hinders any movement. Have you figured out a work around?
maybe find a cable that is angled
Record in mono with the DJI mic on its own and worry about post edit after.

The question is when you are using the wireless mic. If you are a vloger and using your own live narrative on the location, a mic attached to the mobile phone is good. But if you are using a wireless mic, attaching the receiver is a big problem, as the mobile phone has to be slided much left of the gimbal arm, and you will end up in unbalanced mobile cam. This is the case of wireless mics like Rode and DJI. I am using Boya wireless mic so that there is no balancing issues and I can reverse charge my mobile through the receiver type C port. I am using Hohem M6 with Beastcam camera app in my normal iPhone 13. And Beastcam allows me to shoot in 10bit. 4k @30fps. When it comes to 10 bit the app restricted 60fps.

Hohem can use tracking front and rear by switching the AI module. DJI Don’t

I was about to buy the DJI OM6 blindly (cause Im a big DJI Fan) but wanted to check some comparison videos first. Im glad I did. There is so much with the Hohem that the OM6 just doesnt offer. Ill buy the Hohem now, thanks a lot for this informative video!
