Thanks for sharing useful tips and techniques. I have a challenge that you may want to address: since I use 2 cameras: action cam insta 360 one R and Google pixel 6 to shoot videos, the output from both of them are way different. How does one make all the clips look identical .. it looks to be an uphill task.
It is something we all struggle with. You have to use same white balance and do lots of post production color grading

what you are not being told is , to use this gimbal you must own 2 iPhone. one on the gimbal and one to receive calls, while you film with the gimbal

Horrible gimbal - it does not have the tilt, pan or rotation needed to make your videos classic. If you are always worried or working on how to get the gimbal to work - then you lose creativity . . . .. look else where this is a paid advertisement.
First off this is not a paid advertisement because I bought this gimbal by myself… 😉 if you’re looking for more advanced filming gimbal then yes you need to go with something else. There is a learning curve to every single gimbal. It is never turn it on and go

Excellent video!! Getting my Dji 6 soon. Cant wait to try it ! One small confusion. At 8:12 you say that the Native camera app cannot shoot 4k at 60fps in regular video mode. Maybe I am missing something but don’t the 14/15 pros support 4k @ 60 fps? Thanks !

Zdenka, I am not comfortable using the DJI Chinese spying app. Not once you mentioned in your video why the app had been removed from the App Store and Google Play.
If you don’t feel comfortable then don’t use it. Watch videos you are comfortable with. This is not a gossip video so I don’t talk about any conspiracy theories…. This is tutorial how to use the tool. Cheers
Good morning Zdenka, I am new to using a gimbal but find your tutorial very good , we are going on holiday in a couple wks time to the Maldives and fully intend to use my gimbal as much as possible . I am watching your tutorials as much as I can so I may be able to get some good shots / videos . I am using a I phone 14 pro max and use the raw setting a lot , is this okay or should I leave on auto ? Keep up the excellent work . Les
Hello Less… thank you very much for the comments and positive words. Besides watching the tutorial, I would strongly suggest to practice now every single day before you actually go on your trip. That way you will get used to your gimbal before you actually use it. Mainly enjoy your trip and I have a blast.
Zdenka, those are really excellent techniques and the music you picked was perfect for the type of scenes. I like how you left the sound of the waves lapping on the shore too. Do you recall about what time of day you shot the scenes?
Thank you very much. Because it is for the sunrise is way later. I got there at 6:40 AM and the actual sunrise happened at 7:22.

How do i use music {What App) that i use on Spotify and UA-cam to synchronize with my Osmos 6?
I don’t think I’m understanding your question correctly. I am not familiar with Spotify. I use Epidemic Sound for my music.

Thank you for your support. Please calibrate your gimbal and make sure you place your phone correctly. Sometimes if you don’t have the phone well balanced it will vibrate

I ended up going for the om5 because I got a good deal!
things I don't like... the way it tilts is annoying but I see you pull out the extension to make it more like the smooth 5 style
the clip barely clips on any case better to be caseless, I can't close the gimbal with the clip I gotta take it off and I don't know where to keep it and I don't want it to get lost
but other than that I'm having a blast, I prefer the osmo pocket for a quick gimbal shot but if I have a little time to setup then this osmo Is AMAZING you were right, I'm having so much fun especially for vertical shooting and I can control in filmic pro which is awesome
I wish I could charge my phone with this gimbal maybe in the future theres Magsafe charging or even Magsafe mount because I hate this clip!!
but as long as I have no case its okay, I just hope it works with moment case!
I just hate that I can't really go low mode without just going under slung, also, changing modes in the mimo app is annoying I think thats why they put a screen on the om6, I hate how clicks the control pad is but eh, I will check out the om4SE if I find a good deal its fun to try all the gimbals!!! :D
the smooth 5, is that over rated or under rated? or the m3 or m2s
I think the annoying thing about the om series gimbals is the phone often hits the gimbal arm its not out of the way so the movement isn't completely free
and its not completely portable because you have to set it up still so it does take some time, but its nice to fit in your pocket

Thank you very much for sharing your thoughts. DJI is mode more for quick filming and mainly social media content. Smooth 5 it’s absolutely underrated and it is for advanced filming.

Zdenka Darula - I am a beginner. I have a query and I would really appreciate if you can help me out on this.
I use an android phone ie Redmi note 11 pro + 5g whose inbuilt camera allows me to shoot upto 1080p @30fps.
If I couple my mobile phone with the Dji om 5 or dji om 6 gimbal while using the dji MIMO app then will the app allow me to shoot 1080p @ 60fps or @ 120fps or will my shooting frame rate be restricted to the frame rate limit of my mobile phone which is 1080p @ 30fps?
Unfortunately, I never had that phone so I cannot confirm this. it would be the best to ask DJI support.

I'm a new DJI OSMO Mobile 6 user and recently found your channel. Your videos are a valuable source of information. I've literally been taking notes from a couple of your videos that I can use in the field. I do have a question though - If I'm shooting at 60fps, what's the general rule for slowing them down in the final mix with a program like Adobe Premiere or Davinci Resolve? Thanks.
If your timeline is 24fps, then you can slow it down to 40%

Zdenka, I have same phone and gimbal, but I have trouble balancing my gimbal because the clamp tends to sit on the side buttons. Please share your balancing secret. Thank you.
That is strange… if you place the clamp exactly in the middle horizontally and vertically as shown in their manual it should be fine

Any tips for a beginner editor? I saw DJI/You recommend lightcut. I haven't seen much video content about the app on youtube, except a few videos in Hindi, which I only understand the english words of. How about a video dedicated to lightcut?
Light cut is pretty much automatic editing, you don’t need knowledge there.., most of it is done automatically..

Great video again. Can you do a video about How to photograph shiny (eg. glass jewelry) objects and not get reflections? With a minimum setup? I am using an M50 with a small lightbox right now but is very challenging to get a tiny shiny objects captured.

Thanks for the videos Zdenka! I just got my OM6 and what I find weird about it is how the phone, when in landscape position, is not level but leans away, and that you have to really hold the gimbal super upright to keep the horizontal level? Look forward to your thoughts.
I think you need to calibrate your gimbal. That should not be happening.
@@ZdenkaDarula The gimbal is all good and fully calibrated. Double tap of the trigger recentres the phone. It's just a very subtle thing that occurs when the phone does not return to a level position. I mean in the north south axis. Not east west. I think I've seen it on other videos.
Thanks for the video. How secure is the phone clamp or the magsafe one from Amazon? I’m looking for a gimbal to film at a theme park and I don’t want my phone to fall off. Would love to see a comparison video with the Smooth Q4.
Unfortunately, I don’t use that so I cannot answer it. I prefer the old traditional clamp for the same reason. I just want my phone to be secure.
