One of the reasons that i love your channel is you are older and doing it, i feel like some who is in the 30ies or 40ies can only speak to theories, but you are the same age as my parents and out there actually practicing what you preach. Best of the luck on this new journey, I can't wait to follow it and hopefully inspire my parents not to give up

Good talk Lance. Thanks for sharing. I’m 70 and on the journey too. A lot to sort through - it takes time but consistency is the key. Motivation comes primarily from seeing results. I currently do Body by Science workout because it works for me and less chance of injury.

Lance: As usual, SO much appreciation for the authentic, vulnerable sharing of your path! My journey is also constrained by other responsibilities, time and finances - and now in middle-age I get quick (humbling) feedback that my enthusiasm to *learn* about longevity is actually quite different than *implementing* it! ;) The picture of your physique at 68 is as much of an inspiration as your willingness to start-up again after your hiatus (as is your passionate sacrifice to put so much into your entrepreneurial efforts)! So... thank you for all you do. Your efforts are providing more than you know.

Lance we all fall off from time to time, it’s easy to become despondent, the trick is to pick yourself up and get going again. I’m still recovering from a fall I took back in October running, then this month something known locally as the 100-day virus. Time to clean up my diet and get back to the gym, 10 lbs to loose and some muscle to gain. It’s happened before, it can be done again!

This was a great summary. Thanks! You gave me some direction and hope! I turned 59 this year and got hit all at once. Heart failure (left ejection fraction is low) hypothyroid, border line type 2 diabetes and possible prostate/ bladder problem. Everything is almost "normal" now but will be going for heart stem cell therapy at Dream Body Clinic in Mexico. Taking a world of cutting edge suppliments! 😅

Hey Thomas, great you're health is getting better but if you're going for surgery just a heads-up some supplements can affect blood platelets and act as thinners such as Quercetin, Resveratrol etc so best discuss with your Doc beforehand. Lance, great channel, best to all in 2024. STL

Can majorly sympathize - I've fallen off my own wagon because of the grind of running a business and having to shift my priorities; longevity is a lifestyle and a journey! We are all trying to climb the same mountain. 👍

    Never Die.
I wish there was a place to share and discuss longevity stacks, and nutrition & fasting strategies for longevity escape velocity, but anti-aging isn't that popular yet. Most people in the "anti-aging" space care more about their looks, which is silly. Who cares what you look like this century if it gets you to the next ten.

At 51 I started doing cross-fit. It was brutal and kicked my butt but I became addicted to it. The worse it felt the better the rest of my day was. It's the closest thing to the fountain I have found.

Lance, where is your update on the stem cell therapy? Was it worth it?How expensive were your procedures? Have you gone back? You questioned certain results, did you resolve the problems? Would you recommend stem cell therapy?
If you intend to lead into the bold new world, we need accurate and trustworthy information from those before us. Otherwise, time and resources are wasted, and no one can afford that.

Wow, the photo as you started muscle training is impressive - not only for a guy at your age.
Everyone who's telling that older people can't build up muscles so fast are not wrong, but... Thats not exactly what I've seen.

When someone tells me they are eating "right" that means nothing to me (is vegetable oil good or bad?). It's just like when someone tells me they're taking vitamin D. That also means nothing (some people think 2,000 IU per day is "taking" vitamin D). I did intermittent fasting and keto for 5 years until I learned that it was harming me. What is considered eating right is still up for debate. Please check out Jay Feldman's Energy Balance podcast.

How do you think the stem cell therapy helped? Are you still getting any benefits from it and will you continue to get more?
I’ve been very interested in Peptides lately and have wanted to explore trying some of those.
    Good luck brother!

Lance, you dont come across someone who is physically and even mentally someone in their 70s or what we perceive in the 70s presently but much younger by 2 decades at least and this is even before all the cures come along which i do believe will happen soon...

    What are your supplements?

  • @ratherrapid
    @ratherrapid 5 місяців тому

Age 76. I go to planet fitness 6-7 times/week/intermittent fasting/several of the life extension company supplements. Holding my own so far.i think 3 times/week exercise gets little in terms of life extension. I have yet to see. much discussed in terms of appropriate exercise for life extension, the quandary is how much cardio v weights is ideal and actually does something.
