The editor needs some more sleep. Thats Joe Heschmeyer, not Trent Horn, and then 20 mins of black screen for no reason 😂✝️GOD BLESS CATHOLIC ANSWERS THO ☦️
The silence was intentional for us to spend time with the very person whom we declare Jesus to be! Thanks to Catholic Answers for their ministry and thanks be to God! ❤ ✝️ 🙏
I appreciate the pause at 04:05 to reflect on Jesus' question. It was an honest to goodness beautiful moment of meditation for me. Thank you Joe. Apologetics with practical moral application.
Joe is my favorite apologist. I wish I was smart enough to be his friend. He looks like a very kind person. Cy Kellett is very fortunate to have him as a friend. 😁
I knew the question from the moment I saw the thumbnail. My answer to the question has long been "My first beginning and my last end" and for that reason have included an alpha and omega (with the JMJ) in the dedication to all my written works.
WHY ARE PEOPLE SO BLIND AND CANNOT SEE? JESUS HIMSELF SAID SO MANY THINGS ABOUT HIS FATHER: HE SAID “IF I HONOUR MYSELF, MY HONOUR IS NOTHING: IT IS MY FATHER THAT HONOURETH ME; OF WHOM YE SAY, THAT HE IS YOUR GOD” (JOHN 8:54-55). JESUS CLEARLY STATES HE HAS A FATHER, YET PEOPLE GO AGAINST GOD'S WORDS THROUGH JESUS. THIS IS THE VERY REASON JESUS CAME INTO THE WORLD: SO THAT WE MAY KNOW AND UNITE WITH HIM AND THE FATHER. FOR WITHOUT JESUS, WE WOULD NEVER KNOW THE FATHER, AND WE WOULD ALL BE DOOMED TO HELL.
No man can see God's face and live (Exodus 33:20) Why did God send Jesus and not himself? It is because God wants to save the lives of man, not to destroy them (Luke 9:56). Nothing of sin can stand in the presence of God, else it would be destroyed. God so loved the world that He sent His only begotten Son (John 3:16) with His power and spirit to do everything asked of him because they are one in agreement in all things (1 John 5:7-8, John 10:30). In Daniel 7:9, Daniel only saw God's hair and garment. In Exodus 33:20, Moses only saw God's back, as God said “thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live.” No man has seen God enough to describe Him. Knowing this, it seems impossible that so many people continue to say Jesus is God and blaspheme against the Father. They are choosing to reject God's words and believe what they want to their own destruction (Mark 7:9). God sent Jesus for one reason: simply because he loves us.
There is a book called From Rome to Jerusalem. Would love it if Trent or another Catholic apologist would read it and comment on it afterwards. It has been said that a bishop in Florida, head over 17 Catholic Churches, read the book and converted to Oneness Pentecostalism. Also, a few priests under said bishop were also converted. If you are Catholic, I highly recommend it, and would love to hear feedback on what you think. Cheers.
Could you elaborate on "It has been said..."? Ie: who specifically said this? In what publication was it documented, and how was it corroborated? What is the name of the Bishop, and the diocese he was head of? Can you provide a link or references ? The vagueness resulting from the lack of these kinds of necessary details detracts from any appearance of credence.
@@ironymatt which is why you need to read the book. I’m not going to copy and paste the entire book on this thread. It’s called From Rome to Jerusalem by D. G. Hanscomb. The book is filled with dates, quotes, etc. I guess enough to convert a bishop. It’s not just a personal “testimony”, it has a ton of information as well regarding history, etc.
@@ironymatt there is a link on the review of the book, little bit about the author, etc. He was a candidate of the priesthood that studied Catholicism extensively, so not just a book about someone’s opinion but rather actual knowledge. If you are Catholic I would say it’s worth a read, and a rebuttal if anything is incorrect.
@@tyler9_10 anti-Catholicism is old news, which is why I don't care about the book. Tom Cruise studied extensively for the priesthood for example, but that still doesn't give his adherence to Scientology any legitimacy. Who is this Bishop in Florida? It sounds like you made him up
@@tyler9_10 or perhaps if you didn't make it up yourself, someone else did and you're just repeating it. Bishops don't readily up and leave the faith merely from reading a book, so that claim is highly suspect.
Sorry chief. Your entire religion is fiction. Jesus, Mary, Joseph; the twelve apostles - fiction. Sin sacrifice redemption salvation - fiction. Heaven hell - fiction. All the bible stories - fiction. Unfortunately for you - you will first have to waste your entire life to find this out.
To all those concerned about the video editor, please do not be alarmed. He is okay. But yes, this is Joe Heschmeyer, not Trent Horn!
please send help
😂. Please send help. 😂
😂🤣😂🤣
I feel tricked. I thought I was about to get 18 minutes of Joe. Because of this, I demand another new 18 minute long video of Joe.
Nae. Thirty-six minutes.

I find the concept of dedicating 13 minutes to silent meditation on this question quite appealing.
im glad you benefited from it :) -zach
Thank you Trent, very informative!
Identity theft is not a joke Joe!
This comment wins the internet for the day.

I think the black screen is our moment to meditate on Joe's commentary as he poses as Trent!
Seems that an extra 13 minutes of black screen was accidentally added to the end
Thx
5:30 is when the real meat of the video starts
What I find interesting is what follows the Simon Peter's creed: "Jesus strictly warned them not to tell this to anyone." What do you think, why?
Excellent video. Very well done. Thank you to the whole team at Catholic Answers.

Gotta edit this video!

Could you allow auto-generated subtitles? It would be helpful for me, cause my english is not strong enough yet.
There are about 13 weird min of just silence.

To the Sir/Ma'am who edited this video.
Get some sleep man. Please, it's for the best of your health

What's up with reading a script that's just to the left of the camera? That's messed up.
