even though Cowboy Bebop is somewhat old now, it still one of the best anime ever made.. something all anime fans, new and old, need to watched ….in English dubbed form only obviously... not in Japanese.. since the English voice cast was and still is so good for the series
It's that rare case when japanese version and english version are both good. Watched it in the original version and I do not feel that's in any way worse than english.
Yoko kanno is one of my all time favorite composers EVER. Her music has top tier originality. She even created her own language that she uses in her music.
My mother got me a subscription to Game Informer and I used to look at the back of the issue where they sold their merch of stuff you couldn't find in a toystore or even most comic shops like Evangelion goods and model kits and even hentai. But the thing they had most was Dragon Ball Z posters and exclusive figures that hadn't been release yet, like Goku with interchangeable Super Saiyan 1,2, and 3 heads (metallic gold hair to boot. Remember those?) This was back when you were lucky to find Trunks and Piccolo at Comic Shop or your local KB. And since I didn't get ahead of the US premiers on Toonami, which hadn't even run the Garlic Jr. Saga, I had all these questions like, "Who's that blonde chick?" "Who's the guy in the green suit with the bandanna?" "Why is Trunks a kid?" "Where's Gohan?" Oh, the memories.
I still find it ironic that these guys are reacting to one of the anime’s that is part of the renegades anime night on the discord channel on Saturdays. We are already on episode 7 I think... HOPE YOU RENEGADES ENJOY THIS!
You know what's great about that scene where Jet explains the bounty to Spike? It's not a 'As You Know' to Spike or info pulled out of his ass later begging the question why he's telling him now. In what is perhaps the best exposition scene in ANYTHING, you see briefly how and when Jet got that info, and he's telling Spike (And the Audience by proxy.) cause he JUST got the info and it is relevant to Spike and Jet's mission so it makes sense he's telling them then. No BS, no jerking anyone around, Jet get's info while interrogating a guy, which we get to see, he then relays said info to Spike and us as well, no as you know, One of the only good instances of Exposition I can think of.
Yeah unlike most, I was gonna get mad if you didn't do the dub for this series. This has accomplished the impossible feat of *Outshining the original Japanese voice acting!*
Honestly I'd always pick a dub over the original, but in this case this is an anime where I can honestly and safely said "Bias aside, the dub is outright better.". This and a few others (Ghost Stories being one of the biggest examples.).
Cowboy Bebop is by far one of if not my favorite anime of all time. It's an anime that celebrates the directors love of Cinema and proves that anime can be as good if not better then traditional cinema. Nearly every episode is a tribute to different film genres from action to psychological horror the show has it all. Not to mention this anime never overstayed it's welcome. It's had spin off media like Manga and even some video games but the fact that it never had a sequel series is just wonderful to me. It began perfectly and ended perfectly. I look forward to more of these reactions and to Ballad of Fallen Angels my favorite episode in the series.
Antonio, Carlos, and Jobim: peripheral characters that turn up in the strangest places and keep 2071 real.;) After it completed the 26 episode run in Cartoon Network's "Adult Swim," I looked for DVDs. I couldn't find anything! Official copyright holder, Bandai, didn't have any plans to market "Cowboy Bebop." Eventually, I found an illegal "The Complete Sessions" on eBay from an unlicensed producer in Chinese or English, which "filled my needs" at the time. (This was way before "Cowboy Bebop" showed up at Borders in Manga form.)
Baccano is a damn good time. Very different tone than Cowboy Bebop but still really good in its own way and that intro is just as good as Cowboy Bebop's imo
If these guys were impressed by the soundtrack and animation of cowboy bebop, just wait until if posibble to make a reaction to, show them The greatest animated film of all time, *AKIRA.* Godly animation and music composed with the highest budget for an animated film set in a cyberpunk dystopian tokyo. Its on hulu if you guys are interested in making a reaction to it, and someone actually uploaded the full film subbed on youtube if you guys don't own hulu, i suggest to get around reacting to it while you can before the upload gets taken down.

The triangle between Spike and the two villains is foreshadowing the main triangle with Vicious and Julia. There are rarely throw-away lines in Bebop. Such as when Spike says "I was killed once, by a woman." And consider his wounds in the opening sequence. Spike is already dead and this is Purgatory.

Yep Cowboy Bebop and Black Lagoon are two animes that really have a great English Dub

Pretty sure Nic would like Black Lagoon intro as well. Bebop's will remain the best, but it's up there (it also being western)

If you want another cool jazz opening, then you should try Baccano. It's a great series to read and watch, and the opening is so fucking good!

The animation is pretty good even tho it's super old
I'm still shocked that Cowboy Bebop was put into a Japanese crossover game to this day
Why?
@@SaintVakos It not considered as a mecha anime but it still works well along with the story
It was surprising but it's fun seeing Spike's Swordfish take down giant space monsters.
I literally just finished the series you guys are gonna love it this is my favorite anime so far that I’ve watched

Wow, for once the Renegades copied Blind Wave because they also starting watching “Cowboy Bebop” this week!
We started recording ours weeks ago before they uploaded their first episode, though.
