Thanks for the review. Well explained.
Thanks John, glad you found it useful
SO AMAZING!! #NEXTLEVEL and impatiently waiting for my pre purchase download to become available. 🙌🏻⚡️💪🏻💥👏🏻
Yeah it's pretty mind-blowing!
merci pour le tuto
Great tutorial! Does luminar 4 work good with fujifilm raw files??
Prometheus Theseus thanks! It works with raws from any camera
Thank you for this. After watching , I now feel like I can jump into Luminar 4 right away 😎Cheers
Give it a go, Shauna - let us know what you think
Taking notes 📝
What's the verdict?!
Thanks for sharing and demonstrating the new features in luminar 4.
Did you notice the AI portrait - skin enhancer removed a piece of the wire on her front head. (at 9:35)
Ah no I didn't spot that - this would be something I'd paint back in with the mask tool
Does Luminar 4 run better then 3!? 3 legs like crazy even with a powerful PC
yeah it's better than 3, but still no speed demon. Looks lag the most for me, so I turn the panel off completely. The AI tools work surprisingly fast.
Thank You!
Glad you liked it, Beverly :-)
Looks stunning. Will be applying on some of my photos at www.masterofphotography.com . Which photo's you think would need some help with sky replacement?
the one on the homepage looks like it already has - is that a real sky?
Meh. "If I just take this down a bit..." Be nice to see what that took to do, as it was not clear if (or when) there is the ability to reduce each effect.
2015 MacBook Pro has worked fine for me.
Was that with L3 or L4, Michael?
L3. So far L4, since downloading yesterday, has run great as well.
Ah great to hear Michael
Wow, Free stock photos.....no wonder photography is dying as a means of making a living. Nice, you gave a "shout out" to the photographer, I am sure that will put food on the table and keep the bill collector at bay. I guess someone should put up a free full version of Luminar 4. I suspect that Skylum might have an issue with that.
Pretty sure unsplash compensates the photographers
No, they do not! And they sure won’t have their back(s) when the law suits are launched (one case already underway). Most of the photos of people are not released and ditto for the trademarked and property images, lawsuits in the making. At the end of the day, unlike, say a Napster (remember those guys?), Unsplash, is not stealing images, no, it’s the contributing photographer that is doing the damage for a little recognition. Another point, the photographer has no say as to who buys an image or how it is used, sadly, even sites like Getty has recently announced a Royalty Free business model, dark days for content creators.
@@cameraman655 I'm not aware of how Unsplash treats its photographers, but my understanding is that the photographers themselves upload their images to the site and agree to allow full creative commons licensing to anyone who chooses to use them.
@@Shotkit I want to apologize to you for my comments. Actually, upon reflection and studying Unsplash's policies, my angst is actually aimed at the photographers who upload their work, fully knowing that there is no financial compensation and NO control on the photographer's part as to how the image will be used. Making a living in the creative arts has always been a struggle and now with sites like Unsplash handing out free content like Halloween candy with the creator's permission, wow...I fear for the future of our craft as a revenue generator. That said, as a photographer yourself, I am a bit surprised to see you promoting such a site.
@@cameraman655 I guess not everyone's aim is to make money from their photography, and having a photo published for the enjoyment and use by others is more rewarding than having it sitting hidden on a hard drive for eternity
