Thank you for highlighting those particular pockets of Luminar Neo's EDIT sidebar. Really well done, and helpful.

I feel this is a amazing tutorial. This software seems to have what i was looking for as a somewhat new photographer. However, the only thing i feel is that this is too easy? 😅 I mean i like easy/simple, but feel like id be cheating abit. But on a more serious note, im abit worried that when i edit some photos might look too fake-ish. Hopefully i can reduce how much A.I it looks. Like a natural look on most my photos.

Tremendously helpful video. I only took up photography recently and at a fairly late stage in life. Picked up the ZV-e10 with a few different sony lenses. I quickly realised that I would need to edit my photos but was reluctant to dive into the adobe suite due to cost and learning curve. I have just purchased Luminar Neo a couple of hours ago and can already see that is is a great tool for someone like me. Watching your video was very helpful as a basic tutorial for getting started so thank you for uploading and sharing. Liked and subscribed.

I REALLY LIKE THIS VIDEO, I have used PS and LR for some time and invested in many sky repacement packs etc. My question, for which I cant find an answer, are these skies usable in Neo AI or do I need to begin again building a good choice of skies
    Regards
    Ian

Hey that's a great question! You CAN, however, add custom overlays in Neo.. So there is definitely a way you can mask in some of your existing sky swap packs. However, I didn't see a place to integrate my own skies into their AI. Though you might want to get in touch with a Neo representative - they'll be able to answer that question better than I can.

Thanks for this video. Does Neo have geometry controls as well as lens corrections? Can it handle HDR images? I'm a Adobe LR/PS user.

Yes, with the HDR Merge extension it does a good job of that. Re. geometry controls, what are you referring to exactly?

@@Shotkit "Transform". Vertical, horizontal, Rotate etc. I use these most often with architectural photos.

Unfortunately, I decided not to renew my Luminar Neo subscription. Great features BUT it is crashing non stop. Have a new AMD PC with with an NVIDIA 4080. CAN’T EVEN MAKE 1 edit. Other software like Resolve and Movavi are working great. Luminar NEO went from 5 stars to 0 for me.

I purchase this software to find I didn't invest my money with it, I wasted, instead I do recommend Affinity Photo if you can't pay for photoshop, this luminar neo is like a section of filters that applies in a big amount of time, honestly, I waste so much time when I used to apply just a little change with it, then one day I opted to purchase the super sharp extension and it was a mess, not to mention that it was taking 15 to 21 minutes to apply sharpness to 1, yes 1 picture. I had to call and apply for my refund, I can get better, much better results with Photoshop or Affinity Photo, I own both, Photoshop CS5 and Affinity Photo 2, my pc is configured for heavy duty graphic design work to manipulate images from my nikon D850 and D810, so this software luminar neo was a waste of money for me, seems like it can do magic but not really, like I mention, just waiting to apply one control or change takes too much time and this is a no, no for me. Ok for sample, I had a picture that I wanted to darken up the background, with luminar it took almost 30 minutes after all the retouch close to the skin of the subject and parte of the face darkened, for this to speed up I was using my Wacom tablet, then I did the same with Affinity Photo and I spent about 15 minutes, now all I can say is this, buy it, try it, try it, try it and if not satisfied RETURN IT, I know you will.
