This really helps. You use like one knife, one pan, in a small kitchen, which is much more relatable than chefs making "simple" recipe videos in their big kitchen with 20 different tools.
all of these look so good !! it gives me motivation to start putting actual effort into my school lunches haha. right now it usually consists of an uncut apple and dry bread with cheese 😅
Please make another video like this! This is one of the few videos that has easy and tasty looking recipes that require ingredients that I already have in my kitchen, it was very helpful
4:31 For actual faster browning, add a little baking soda. It break down the onion so it releases sugars, which is the browning effect. What we need is the onion getting sweet, not just changing color.
When I was in fifth grade, we had this new kid whose lunch looked straight out of a restaurant. Ever since then, I started putting effort into my lunches rather than doing a simple sandwich and chips.
I really enjoyed your video! As a tip, wait until your food is all cooled before putting the lids on your containers if you are prepping more than a day ahead! It lowers the chances of mold development!
I hate making lunch to bring to campus and always just eat leftovers, but this is exactly the video I needed. Its the kind of food I would want to eat on campus and isn't boring! Great video
I wish there was more content like yours on the internet. Absolutely splendid! Perfectly paced, easy to digest with the recipe being actually simple, not too in-your-face, and very calming. You have my respect!
Honestly i have been trying ti find recipes for me to take to school and honestly this is very nice especially the “Wednesday” recipe i have all the ingredients at home and its very easy to make !
this kept coming up on my recommended and im so glad i clicked!! this is the perfect level of difficulty and has really motivated me to start cooking for myself instead of spending so much eating out, thank you for this video
Those tuna/seaweed/rice balls are brilliant!!! Ingredients I love and always have stocked, and sometimes I make too much rice and worry about finishing it in time - so I can do this next time! Also love the bonus adorable cat at the end 😻
thank you so much! As someone who can never think of lunches to pack, this helped a lot! I appreciate that these are healthy & realistic since most don’t take much time (which helps since most students are busy)
6:43 i just tried the bacon rice balls since i had the ingredients at home and theyre soo good! i find them relatively easy and quick to make i plan on maling them for my friends tomorrow thanks for the video!
@@hammanoo2491hello! not the op, but i find that cheddar usually does the job (or if on a budget, kraft cheese lol) and if your bacon is on the saltier side i personally enjoy mozzarella as well!
This was so comforting to watch! Watching the way you prepared your food with so much care and love makes me want to do the same for myself - I work from home and do try to cook but I get lazy sometimes and this has made me want to try some new recipes and put more effort in for myself! Thank you for this wonderful video! 💕💕
I cannot thank you enough for this video! I've been struggling to find affordable lunch and dinner ideas for my roommate to take to her classes (she's getting her master's so she's gone like, all day) that is both vegetable heavy and delicious. This is exactly what I've been looking for! She loves the recipes and they're easy for me to make before she leaves in the morning. Thank you very much!!
I would normally feel discouraged watching lunch prep videos because they would usually be pretty complicated or have expensive ingredients, but the recipes in this video look manageable, especially the recipes for Monday-Wednesday-these are definitely good inspiration for students who want to commit to cooking. Thank you 😊
I loved the comentary and emojis in the video. (As a argentinian sometimes my english is lost) but that was super easy-pace reading. The background music was soft enough to still listen to the kitchen tools do their magic. I loved it. It was very peaceful to watch and i appreciate the last message of keeping us warm this winter. That is actually a kind phrase to reminds us of the important❤ Thank you!
I'm so glad I came across this video! It gives me a lot of comfort to see people living alone and making delicious budget meals despite the difficult circumstances the economy puts us in
I started packing bento for myself semi-recently since I find it easier to control portions and plan meals. Unfortunately I'm still very lazy lol. I like packing salmon since you can just pop it in the pan for a bit with some seasoning and it always brings a really nice savory taste that's awesome with rice. I struggle a lot to prepare protein in a way that I like eating... most of my chicken attempts have been very poor. The ideas here are nice and I like your presentation.
I’m going to live in an apartment for college next semester and be without a meal plan so this video will definitely come in handy! The tuna rice balls look delicious and prepping side dishes in advance is really smart. Gives me hope that I’ll be eating good food once I have a kitchen
Hi! I noticed szalonna on the bacons packaging. I assume you study in Hungary since Hungarian is a rare language that I usually never see in videos! Welcome to my home country, I hope you like it here!! ❤️
fellow uni student here and gosh i love this vlog it's so relaxing , , also feel u for the prices. i always feel so guilty for eating out even tho my parents tell me not to make a fuss about it. ik that money is hard to get so i try to save up as much as i can. i'm buying a bento box tomorrow and following on your footsteps on becoming a better cook lol and saving up a bit :3
if you are looking for better browning on the meat, you can add it first before any of the seasonings so you can cook it at a high temperature without burning the garlic etc
Because I work two jobs, my days sometimes see me clocking in at 6am and clocking out at 11pm and having to buy food while I’m out so I can eat, but videos like these inspire me to set aside time to plan ahead of time to make food and bring with me to work! I’ve been bringing ingredients with me to work recently, like ciabatta bread, raw eggs, onion, cheese, etc to make something there but I do want to change things up and your video makes me hungry. Especially that last meal set 🤤 I think I’ll try making that tomorrow, thank you for sharing!! 💖💖💖
I have no idea why but this video made me eat healthier, instead of packing 3 million unhealthy snacks for the day I only pack fruits and this really inspired me TYSMMM
ACTUALLY GOOD UNI FOOD. not some fancy expensive everyone can get this! so many vids just has the most random stuff but this is quick ez and looks AMAZING! gonna try it!!
I just made the udon noodles tonight for dinner and new obsession meal unlocked!! Definitely going to make the rice balls and hopefully try out the rest over the next few weeks. Well done!
that's so interesting that you somehow cook so many different meals from so many ingredients, bc i noticed that when i'm grocery shopping i forget to buy anything interesting and just buy tomatoes, carrots and meat and then my food is constantly rice with chicken and veggies. I hope next time i won't forget that there's a lot of other interesting ingredients to try out. Thx for the inspo!
i took my grandma with me, to where i live in college, she usually gets groceries and does the cooking were as i do house hold work she also helps me like cleaning, doing the laundry etc, i cant live without her cooking our family lives together with our grandparents and cousin so she cooked for me everyday even, when we where at home!!, she makes yummy food!!
I have never finished a meal prepping video before but this one right here is the first ever, I genuinely enjoyed watching this😭😭 The meals seem tasty too
This is perfect for my son who just started working, loves rice, and I purchased him a bento lunch set. This way he can save $ and avoid unhealthy fast food.

Hi! This year I try to cook more to be trained when I leave home next year. I've never big a big fan of cooking but your video brings me confidence while relaxing me, I love it !

I've been wanting to add more veggies to my dies but I'm living in England and the only way that would be done would be salad every day all day I can't wait to use these recopies to be more healthy and not boring
What are the practical aspects to this when you're in Uni? Where and how do you store the food? What prevents it from going bad outside the fridge for example?
Oh! My mom and I do something similar to the sausage stir-fry, but we use hot dogs and tomato sauce instead. 😁 Cut the hot dogs thinly, fry them, and add tomato sauce from a can--but add some chili powder, for a nice kick! 😋 It's not too spicy, but it pairs well with scrambled eggs (and is a nice comfort food).
this video is so comforting!! and really motivating me to prep my uni food as well ✨ i love your meal choice also, are you planning on making another video like this again soon? :) lots of love!
