The end of an era. This series made me feel like a family member helping out in the kitchen. I really needed this. Thank you Imamu and family. Good luck on this new chapter of life with a stay at home husbento
What I have loved the most about this series is that you show what cooking is really like. You just go for it and it's not some picture perfect process. So many times Ive found myself making dinner and I'm just like "Im going to be like Imamu and just do stuff that looks right and go with it." It always turns out good!
You got me through the pandemic when I couldn’t sleep or when I was just feeling down. Now I am in a completely new country and living my best life and making boyfriend-bentos too! Thank you, Imamu ❤❤❤
Thank you for sharing Husbento with us for all this time! I think many of us can agree that we love your videos because they give a lot of good ideas for daily cooking inspiration but also it's very calming and relaxing. So it's okay if you're no longer making bentos but I hope we can see more cooking / vlogs from you in the future!
Husbando: I don't like raisins. Imamu: Now I want to cook raisins. 😈 You are so funny Imamu! 😂 I also want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all those husbentos and musubentos you have shared with us! It has always been a blast watching them. They always look so yummy. I can't wait for the new cooking videos in the new chapter of your life! ❤
During the pandemic, I experienced one of the lowest points in my life. I was basically losing hope in myself and the internet was the only thing keeping me from falling into severe depression. Then, I found your channel. It was very interesting watching how a bento is prepared. Watching this series and catching a glimpse into your family's daily life makes me really happy. Thank you for making this series, imamu. I am really excited to see what's next from you ❤
This series taught me to see preparing food as an act of love, whether it is for myself or my family. I have struggled with my weight and had issues around food for most of my life so thank you for that. It is a gift I truly treasure. I look forward to whatever you decide to share next. Daily cooking sounds fun!
thank you for your hard work during the husbentos series! sad to see it end, but i know whatever you (and husbento) do in the future will be wonderful!! thank you so much for inspiring me to make yummy food for both my family and me, wishing your family a happy holiday and new year!!🫶💗💗
Thank you so much for this series. I started watching these for comfort but it ended up inspiring me to make bentos for my husband. I've never been much of a cook, but your videos made me want to try new things. My husband's love language is also acts of service, and I was having a hard time showing him how much I love him. Making him bentos made him so happy and I can tell it really helped him feel loved. Seems silly, but your videos really feel like home and have made my life and marriage better. Thank you! I'll continue to support you, no matter what.
Thank you for uploading this! I love seeing you pack your daughter’s lunch because it brings back nostalgic memories of when my mother would pack lunch for me in elementary school. :’)
Absolutely love this channel. Has helped me with learning how to cook and getting good tips for the kitchen. The fact you cook like a normal person and include the little mishaps makes it so much better to watch. Hope you release a cook book some day.
This channel outlasted several jobs, numerous boyfriends and even an engaged relationship. I'll be sad to not see any more, but I know I have days and days worth of amazing husbento videos to watch all over again
One day a husbento appeared in my recommendations and since then I have been waiting for a new video every week for almost 2 years, your videos always felt very cozy, comfortable and even made me want to cook more often! Thank you very much for sharing a part of your life with us, I will miss the husbentos and musubentos series. I will continue supporting you in the future!
This has been one of my absolute favorite series on UA-cam for a while! While I am sad to see that it is over, I am happy to know you guys are okay, and I know that this is a start to a new chapter in your family's life. We're all here for you guys and I'm always happy to watch anything you post!❤
I watched this series through a very hard time in my life, I used it as a close comfort during days I felt like I couldn’t pull myself out of bed. I am so glad I am still here to see it come to a nice close as I get to watch you as a creator progress! Thank you so much for the healing this series helped bring me
Your channel has been my "comfort" zone since I discovered it during covid. I have learned so much from you! I have enjoyed feeling like a family member watching you and your family eat what you've cooked. You have an adopted grandmother in Oklahoma now. Good luck to your family in the future. I will be looking forward to whatever you decide to do in the future. P. S. The rapini and mushrooms look so delicious! Unfortunately, I am one of the few people who don't care for truffles or truffle oil so I will be using garlic flavored oil.
i am currently recovering from an eating disorder and a few months ive started living on my own. i often find myself not finding the want to eat simply because i do not know what to make. This is something wich made me fall back into my old ways of eatning alot. Your videos show me new ideas of meals and have helped me alot with cooking ideas ❤
Watching you make so many inventive foods for your family over the years has brought me a lot of comfort. Your girl has grown so much and it's a joy every time her and your husband join you on camera. You've inspired me to be more creative with my own cooking, and I can't wait to see what else you'll come up with in the future!
I loved this series but I loved watching you cook the "at home" meals, too. This season of your life may be coming to an end but I hope we see you again in the new season. Much happiness to your family for Christmas and in the New Year.
Imamu, I am usually not somebody who usually comments on youtube, but wanted to let you know how peaceful and happy your videos have made me -- a big part of that is your cooking and editing skills, and your sense of humor, but another big part is seeing how much fun your family has together. I loved your "what I cooked this week" dinner series every bit as much as your bento series -- would love to see more of that, or I know anything you put out will be good!
Been an avid fan and subscriber since the pandemic. Imamu room, particularly this week of husbento series, is a content you would always go back to. It feels like home. ❤ Thank you for this and looking forward to more content soon! 🙏🏼🤗
I’ll miss the husbentos. With your videos moving forward I’d like to say that I mainly enjoy watching you actively cook and reading your running commentary about the cooking. I usually skip shopping trips or family meals etc. Not because your family isn’t lovely, it is!! I just like the easy escapism of watching delicious food being cooked, it’s like a hioliday for my brain.
thank you for this series!! it really encouraged me to branch out in my cooking. i used to be so scared of cooking, always following written recipes. but seeing the way you played with variations on a theme - having methods of cooking and ingredients that you liked and mix and matching them - that really inspired me, and i'm much more adventurous in my cooking now! the homey setting, style of cooking, and video editing, is so much more achievable than the super polished veneer of other cooking youtubers
Thanks for working so hard on making this series!! It's been a comfort for me for a while, helping with my anxiety. I hope everything goes well in the future!!
Just wanted to let you know that your cooking has healed me so much during pandemic like it's so therapeutic to watch your videos(binged watch them all the time) and I learned a lot about cooking as well from you which I cannot thank you enough. It's very fun and amazing to see your channel and husbento series grow, you and your family are so cute! Now it's a new chapter and I'm excited to see what you have in store of us!! Love from Philippines! 🫶🥰
one day I'll have a husband and I'll make him a special lunch everyday like you. Husbento has helped me through a lot. Thank you for sharing your little slice of life with all of us
Thank you for this series! I have enjoyed every bit of it. The small talks, the asmr, the aesthetic, th recipes! Please, don't delete these videos. I have always wanted to recreate your Husbentos in the future! We'll continue to support you from here, Imamu! ♡
So glad to have a new Imamu video. I love all your recipes and have used some myself. Every time you use bonito flakes I laugh because one of my dogs loves them so much. When I use them he will sit by me and just cry until I give him a handful of bonito flakes. Looking forward to your new chapter.
Thank you Imamu, husbento, and musubento for inviting us into your home during this wonderful series! I'm sad to see it go, but excited to see where the future leads!
Thank you so very much for making this series. I have watched every single video and loved them! Seeing you cook for your husband and daughter is so entertaining. You can 100% feel the love that you put into cooking and caring for them. Your bento boxes inspire me to make my/ my boyfriend's lunches better. I look forward to seeing what you have for us in the future! Take care until then.
I am wishing Husbento all the luck in the world and sending your family love and light! I look forward to your videos so much. It is so lovely to see you cook and your family grow. Take care of yourself first and foremost! Looking forward to the new chapter! ♥
I'll miss the husbentos, but I cannot wait for the future! Maybe you can share more musubentos or other recipies! No matter what, keep doing what you do. I love your content.
It's been something I greatly look forward to, seeing what you make and watching your daughter grow up. I love that your cooking doesn't require any fancy kitchen equipment and I am so excited to see what you'll be doing next.
Your videos really were a source of comfort for me when I was struggling at university and in a state of high anxiety so thank you so much for sharing Imanu. I wish you and your family luck in the next chapter of your life and look forward to what the new year brings🍀
This series has been a constant in my life. It’s been a while, I have grown and changed with it, but it has taught me the valuable lesson: A good meal is prepared with love and care. This lesson comes to mind every time I prepare my own “bento” before I go to work :)
I will miss watching how you fit so much food into the bento. it always looked like some kind of puzzle and made me want to buy one of those nice bamboo bento boxes. even though I really don't need to use one. looking forward to the future videos
Your spinach recipies have given me so much inspiration, whether fried with some sesame oil or served as a very simple salad I like these simple recipies more than a lot of others I find online. Thank you for your inspiration
Please don't stop posting videos!! I love your creativity in the kitchen, I've even tried to make a few of the foods that you've made, your videos are wonderful to watch ❤
I'm so sad to see this go away because this is one of my comfort shows during hard times. I always look forward to your channel and have been a subscriber when you had 100k followers. Thank you for your awesome videos!
Thank you very much for the husbento series. I have learned a lot about trying to survive another week. I used to cook for myself and my husband when we both worked from home and when I got bored of cooking I would watch one of your videos and try one of your recipes with whatever I had in my kitchen. There was a time when we ate a lot of things on sticks wrapped in bacon! I will be happy to go back and watch old episodes and try more meals. I hope you feel proud of what you have created with this series, it is one of my favourite shows on UA-cam and I am very thankful that I found it. Also I agree with your husband about raisins.
Your channel has been my comfort for so many years. It feels like you and your family are a form of escape from all the chaos in my own life. A little sad that it ends (hopefully only temporary) Best wishes to you and your family. Love from Thailand ❤️❤️
This series really helped with eating I have anorexia and adhd and always forgot to eat or i couldn't eat certain foods or id be sick Your channel has been really helpful making me rethink food and how to cook healthy comfort food
My daughter and I love watching this whole series and looked forward to every new episode. Thank you so much for sharing your cooking with us, and we look forward to both your new videos and the return of husbento!
Thank you for the hard work and dedication, Imamu! I cannot wait to see your daily cooking videos whenever they come! May your days be cheery, and may the food never stop coming! 🎉
The included clip of of your family playing hide and seek in the kitchen was amazing. Made me laugh, smile and i enjoyed seeing the happiness between you all. Best of wishes to you and your beautiful family. ❤ thank you for sharing with us! We love you all.
I just discovered this channel!! I'm a 17-year-old university student staying away from home, and I really miss my family. While the food you make is very different to what my Mum cooks for us, watching this makes me feel like I'm back at home sitting at the kitchen island and talking with my Mum while she cooks dinner. Thank you for this series, I'll be watching past episodes whenever I miss my Mama to make me feel at home again :)) Best of luck with your new chapter!
the husbento series gave me so much joy during the pandemic years, i have loved seeing your family grow and wish you both so much happiness on this new chapter
I have loved your creative and beautiful food, sense of humor, and most of all, getting to see your family interact. Thank you for all the offerings from your hands and heart, and the best of luck for a prosperous and fulfilling new chapter. Looking forward to updates!
I love your videos and hope to see you again in the future doing the things you like! Thank you for sharing with us this part of your life, we are very grateful for the comfort your videos brought to us! 💕💕
These were the most comfort videos I've ever seen! Thank you a lot, because it was my safe space, when I could relax and stop fighting depression for a little bit. Also, your recipes always look yummy and sometimes shock me, like a person of other culture of food. Thank you for the inspiration and comfort that you have been bringing in my life! ❤
I was so happy when you put the "tartar soup" on your rice and eggs. The whole time you were eating I was thinking how tasty that would probably be. Also, "tartar soup" 😂😊
I'm literally crying right now 😭😭 I've watched your videos almost since the beginning! And I absolutely appreciate the way you are making your videos! They are so cute, warm and genuine. I absolutely adore all your family members! Your husband and daughter are soooo nice and funny❤ Thank you so much for your hard work❤ Your vlogs made me feel as I spend time with my auntie in her kitchen where she can make mistakes or try a new recipe and the whole family together. I hope we could see you soon and your life would be great and amazing! ❤ Have a good rest and take an inspiration!
I didn’t realize this series ended. I always looked forward to it and was wondering why I hadn’t seen new ones. Thank you so much for all the yummy ideas. I had a friend to cook with in the kitchen ^.^ I definitely like the newer videos too!
Watching this series of videos was incredible, I was able to see the love you have for taking care of your family, paying attention to even the smallest details. May you all have great success ❤
Thank you for sharing your cooking and family , I’ve been watching your videos since the first episode! You’ve taught me so much, can’t wait to see what’s next for your family
This series was so fun to watch for me! I liked to see what you'd make each week and try to take inspiration from it. Your sense of humor is wonderful. Thank you for the series, Imamu!
Thank You so much for this serie. It have given my much joy and inspiration over the years. 🙏 I hope You will continue to share you cooking in your own special and charming way.
If you have a runny food or sauce that you don't want to add flour to, try adding mustard powder or masa powder. They both act as excellent thickeners without making food gloopy. Masa will also not influence flavor much. I've always enjoyed your videos from the first time I came across your channel. It's nice to destress and get new ideas from watching you cook. It reminded me that cooking is equally about what you put into it and what you get out of it. Even when mistakes are made, it doesn't matter as long as it tastes good and makes you happy. Best of luck on your next chapter! 😊
Just because he quit one job doesn't mean you can't make bentos anymore or cooking. I really hope to see even just those videos. And thank you for keeping those videos up so we can binge watch and relive good memories and hope for new good memories in the future.
Thank you so much for all of the husbento videos you’ve made! I’ve really loved this video series, it’s been really comforting and calming to me the last couple of years (: And inspirational! I’ve tried some new foods after seeing your videos so I’m very grateful! Congrats on the new chapter!
Thank you for a wonderful series Ms. Imamu! For boiling potatoes and not burning yourself. You can either cut them up, put them in an empty pot, fill that pot with water just to cover the potatoes, then bring it to a boil. Or, if you want the water to start boiling while you cut up the potatoes, use a large slotted spoon or a spider to put them into the pot after the water boils. No more splashing hot water! 😊
Thank you for making this series all this time!! Your videos are so wholesome and always remind me to see the beauty in life's small things. I hope your husband and your daughter have appreciated the lovely food over the years :)
Thank you for sharing you delicious recipes and letting us all into your home. Youve really inspired me take the initiative and cook bentos for my lunches the past year. Hope to see you soon ❤
I spent this christmas alone. To cheer myself up i put on a husbento playlist and cooked myself the best christmas dinner i've ever had! Thank you so much for all the cooking and love you shared with everyone in your videos and I wish you and your family all the best in this new chapter! ❤
thank you for sharing this series with us, imamu! it's been such a comfort and so much fun to watch you cook and i can't wait to see what you do next!!!!
Thank you for such a great series, imamu! Your videos bring so much peace and happiness. I can't wait to see your future videos and all of your great recipes!
Its sad but yeah its a new chapter. Thank you for being one of my favorite home kitchen for a while. I really love your video. When i felt tired or sad, i always watched your cooking series. It makes me feel better and made my day 😊. Can’t wait for the new one
I just loved how cozy this series was. Calming, with the funny commentary, it was real(I am also going to miss the little faces). Some days things didn't work out, some days the chef surprised herself, and I just loved your free style and willing to just try new ideas and inspiration. Really the series was a joy to watch and listen to. I thank you so much for your time and efforts to make these vods as well as cooking and taking care of your family. I wish you the best of luck and thank you again!
I admire mom/wives that are so good and creative when making meals for their families. I am not good at it at all. this is fun to watch I wish I can be like this too.
The end of an era. This series made me feel like a family member helping out in the kitchen. I really needed this. Thank you Imamu and family. Good luck on this new chapter of life with a stay at home husbento
Hey! Could you tell me why is this series ending? What am I missing?
@@pranjalthakur7532 It's probably because the Husband quit his job, so she wouldn't have to make bentos for him if he's staying at home.
If you are reading this, have a merry Christmas and a great 2024 ❤😊
@Repent-and-believe-in-Jesus1 Go away.
@@tofuisawesome DIdn't he open his own salon at one point?
What I have loved the most about this series is that you show what cooking is really like. You just go for it and it's not some picture perfect process. So many times Ive found myself making dinner and I'm just like "Im going to be like Imamu and just do stuff that looks right and go with it." It always turns out good!
What matters is that it tastes good!
Yessss
even if it ends up looking like slurry, all that matters is that it's edible and tastes okay enough to go down and not come up
@@poxie2637oh lord😂😂😂
@@izzywoods794 i mean... am I wrong?
You got me through the pandemic when I couldn’t sleep or when I was just feeling down. Now I am in a completely new country and living my best life and making boyfriend-bentos too! Thank you, Imamu ❤❤❤
Cooking is defo a life skill!
So sad to see this series end, but so excited for what you post in the future!!!! 💗
I find it sooo comforting to watch her over all of these MANY years. LOVE everything she cooks!
These have been some of the best comfort videos for me for a long time, thank you for so many! I look forward to your new content in the new year! 🧡
Husbando: I don't like raisins.
Imamu: Now I want to cook raisins. 😈

I sleep with your videos everyday, I have anxiety and they calm me so much, wishing so much love to you and your beautiful family 🫶🏻
The ending and beginning of a Era. You have come so far !! Cheers to new beginnings !!! 🥰❤️🫶
A little sad that it ends (hopefully only temporary)
Best wishes to you and your family.
Love from Thailand ❤️❤️

Your channel has been really helpful making me rethink food and how to cook healthy comfort food

The end of an era indeed! I do hope you share daily cooking videos as I just love watching you cook and experiment. I'll be here no matter what!💖💖
Thank you for this series. I have health issues, and watching you make these meals helped me figure out how to cook more for myself.
I’m sad to see the series go, but even MORE excited to see what your future holds!

Thanks to you, I have learned to cook many simple but delicious Japanese dishes. I will miss husbento, but look forward to what comes next!
I LOVED this series so much!! Thank you for sharing your bentos with us!! I'm so excited to see what you do next! 🥰
Thank you very much imamu for bringing me calm and comfort, may this new chapter be very happy and satisfying

I hope we could see you soon and your life would be great and amazing! ❤
Have a good rest and take an inspiration!
I didn’t realize this series ended. I always looked forward to it and was wondering why I hadn’t seen new ones. Thank you so much for all the yummy ideas. I had a friend to cook with in the kitchen ^.^

I hope You will continue to share you cooking in your own special and charming way.
Part of the reason why I cook and keep cooking are your videos and your series. I hope the future is bright for you and your family! ❤
